As usual, I did some Chinese New Year cards for spreading my message of love to my friends. I'm not able to handle more than hundred of cards, so I decided not to open this activity to public except my family and good friends.

2012 symbolizes the most unpredictable year to people. People are discussing about the rumors of end of the world in recent decades. Is it true? No one knows the answer. The past is history. The future is a mystery. Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present. We should live in the present moment. I suggest that we should not think about and appreciate what you have now.

The reason which motivate me to spread my blessing every year is Life. Life is about the people you meet, and the things you go through with them. Even though sometimes you spend so little time with some of your friends. I miss my friends, do you?

I made cards by my own hand.

Hopefully you will feel warm and happy when you receive them. A brand new year ahead of us. Happy Chinese New Year to everyone :)

The card must be face to the back of envelope. We have to leave the blank side for address because postman might get dazzled by the design...

It has been a long time since my last update. Pretty busy working recently, how about you? I'm planing some big plan for my next year, although it's a bit difficult for me, but it's worth to take a risk. I will update in my blog if I'm able to make it!

Some new brooches are available in my ETSY now. They are made of shrink plastic and felt. The flower shape took me a lot of time to complete. But I'm quite satisfy with the result :) How about your thinking? Do you like them?

Today is Mid Winter. For Chinese people, we eat Tang Yuan for celebration. Tang Yuan symbolizes 'sweet reunion' --- It is kind of round shape glutinous rice flour and symbol of harmony and unity within the family. I will have it later, so happy!

UPDATE: I received my sale reports at night. But he sent me 10 reports and require me to calculate the amount myself. We need to pay 41% as commission for their lame service! I believe more artists haven't get the reports and payment yet!

Please tag your artist friends in my FB note as well, remind them never consign their works in this shop! I don't want to see any artists trapped by THE 12 with bad service, bad attitude. Local artists should fight together, stand up for our right!

Dear fellow, I want to share a news to create awareness among independent artists.

I started to consign my works by invitation in Ureka by The 12, Fahrenheit 88 from April 2011. It should be a great thing for independent artists, because our works get more exposure to the mass.

They promised to provide us sale report week by week. Luckily, I received my first payment on June. On July, due to the lack of manpower within the store, they will only issue out the sales payment once a month. Unfortunately, I have never received either sale report or payment until my withdrawn on Oct.

According to the person in charge, he won't owe people money. The most ridiculous thing is I have to sent few emails to ask my money back! He promised to bank in my payment in every mails. Until now, no miracle appears in my bank. There is nothing I can do. I'm just an independent artist. We appreciate people who love our arts, respect our works. Please get out if you just want to make big money with our works. I have no money to hire a lawyer to fight back. I can only share this to let more people beware of this company.

I would like to share a happy news with you guys... I have my own design bottle!

The water bottle is designed by me and produced by BROS. Through the collaborative design project between BROS and 7 young artists to create the 2011 BROS Crystal Plus+ BPA Free 'Artist Series' Bottles themed 'Water'. My theme is 'The Water Cycle', very obviously and clear. I illustrated the process of water cycle through my imagination... Looks like a incredible journey!

It has been a long time I didn't update my blog. Maybe you are not believe me, I'm too busy with a lot of hobbies and unnecessary things.

I feel honored to have been invited by local brand company to get involved in an amazing project! More news and launching will be released on this month soon. 2 designs have been contributed to the project, but only 1 has been selected for the final product. Too many talented artists took part in this collaboration, so it is the reason why the Daily Fresh Water has not been chosen. But, I will try to turn this into some product. The first thing flashed into my mind is tote bag! Please give me some comment A or B design should be turn into a tote?

I wish I can have a english style afternoon tea time!

Super tired recently with no reason. Maybe I'm getting older? I wish my weekend is coming soon! I do everything but working on weekend, I feel more relaxing and comfortable. I have a talk with my friend few days ago, he works at home too. The bad thing is he works very hard, even weekend also! I agree we should fight for our dream, but work hard play hard wisely! So, leave your working behind, please rest on your lovely weekend, okay?

I print some label for my works. I love this kind of frame, suitable for every lovely thing ^__^

Stick on the back of cardboard. I bought some furnitures from Ikea last week, so I got a lot of cardboard and recycle them into one part of my packaging!

Paper doll

I'm working on paper doll recently. That's really fun on it! Each girl has their own favorite dolls when they were young. This doll has reminded me of my childhood. My parents are not able to buy too many dolls for us. I always play with my little car in playground. Now we grow up, we can make ourselves!

Maybe it will available in my ETSY soon, but still need to modify.

Too tiny XD can't assembled with silver brads.

I just bought a printer for my prints. I experimented with different papers to get the best prints. Finally, I found the most suitable paper for my prints, and I really satisfy with its quality. What kind of printer do you use? If you're searching some nice printer, I recommend Cannon and Epson to you.

Here is some prints with my favorite drawing. Of couse they are available in my Etsy now ^_^

I start to draw a series of drawing, "The Nature Anthem", inspired from a lovely song --- Thank you Grandaddy created such beautiful song! This song also is my boyfriend's favorite song, too bad Grandaddy had decided to split up. A happy song brighten your day, I hope this drawing also!

I'll keep drawing on this series and come out with happy drawing :)
