We hang out lazily in the garden in the sun and at the pool and it feels like back in childhood summer holidays, when you were not able to imagine there was an end.

We shop many different bits and pieces of food in a local store, combine it with the cheeses that we brought along and have a picnic dinner on the Campo in Siena. The evening light is mild – so is the air. Swallows circle over us.

We walk through fields of many different wild flowers and blooming trees on the way down from a beautiful mountain hike watching over Prato and Florence. Everything feels easy.

I have the most unpleasant seat on the plane and as I am surprised about this fact a friendly stewardess tells me to wait until everyone is seated and then I am able to take a free seat at the exit row with no seats in front of me.
