I have an exciting announcement for you all! I have recently switched over the name of my blog from "Minna May Blog" to "Love, Minna". I just wanted to seperate my personal blog from my design brand, so that I can share more with you guys! I want to share my food & travel adventures, photography, and more beauty & fashion posts! Love, Minna will be more of a lifestyle blog, sharing a mix of everything. Thank you for joining me on this journey! I've been blogging on and off since 2009, and it's always been such a wonderful way for me to share my story with you all. I think this will be my third time changing my blog name haha, but change is good! I'm so excited! — Minna

Here are some of my favorite makeup products at the moment! What are your current favorites?

1. MAC Mineralized Blush in the shade "Azalea in the Afternoon" : I don't think this blush is sold anymore which is a shame! I love this blush because it doubles as a highlighter. It adds a nice pink glow.

2. Nars Highlighter in "Albatross" : Even though the MAC blush adds some highlight, I like to double up on highlighter! I love this one by nars because it adds a warmer, more sun-kissed glow.

3. Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint in the shade "Finland" : I just started using the new Nars skin tint, and so far I am loving it! It definitely keeps my skin matte throughout the day.

4. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shades "Custard" and "Chantilly" : These have been my holy grail concealers for the past few years, and I love them. When I breakout, I get noticeable acne scars, and these help to cover them up wonderfully! I have two shades because they don't have the right shade for me, so I mix the two to get the perfect match.

2016 is here! Hope everyone had a fun and safe celebration! One of my new years resolutions is to blog more, and to be consistent. I started a new job several months ago, so that's been keeping me busy, which explains why my posts have seized to exist. Summer is in full swing, and it couldn't be hotter! I am literally melting in my little apartment... wishing I had some AC. These past few weeks, i've been up to my eyeballs with work, but thankful to find time for little adventures. My favorite summer activity so far has been berry-picking! The other day I was able to score a big bowl of fresh raspberries. Also, I finally was able to go to the new Chick-Fil-A that opened up in Bellevue. I've always loved that place when I lived on the eastcoast, so it's nice to have it here! It's crazy how busy it gets though... The drive-thru line wraps all the way around the street, causing traffic for incoming cars! Sad, sad... I hope all the hype dies down soon so I can go there regularly! Anyway, it's been nice going out and enjoying the summer days... I can't wait to go on more mini adventures.

I am finally back home from San Francisco! It was such a fun trip! I got to explore the city and go to AT&T Park to watch the SF Giants vs. LA Dodgers. It was such a beautiful day out to watch the game and enjoy the view of the water. It is such a nice stadium! You could see that there were people on boats waiting for a home run to come their way... There was also a giant Coca Cola sculpture that doubled as a giant slide! I really wanted to go on it but I think it was only for kids, haha. — Minna

Hello everyone! I am currently in San Francisco! I arrived a few days ago, and it's been great so far! The other day I got to visit AT&T Park to watch the SF Giants play against the LA Dodgers. It was so sunny I thought my hair was going to burn up! It's actually been pretty windy here, so at night it's been freezing. Hello everyone! Hope all is well. I've been meaning to put together my Korea post, but i've been so busy with work these days, i've had no time! I promise I will do that soon.

Lately, I have been working on some exciting design projects and i'm excited to share them with you once it's all completed. It's been a bit overwhelming, but i'm thankful to be busy with work, although sometimes I wish there were more hours in a day...

Oh, and i'm going on another trip to San Francisco in about two weeks, so let me know if you have any recommendations! Anywhooo... I promise I will start blogging more often! I feel like I have been neglecting my blog for quite some time haha — Minna

Today was such a beautiful sunny day. I drove down to Kirkland and walked around the waterfront. It was so peaceful and the sun felt so warm on my cheeks even though it was quite chilly out...

P.S. I booked tickets to South Korea for the end of this month! Ahhh! I can't contain my excitement! It's my first time going since I was one years old... so I basically don't remember a single thing. I will be going with my family which will make it even more memorable!

On my recent trip to San Francisco, I was able to eat at a bunch of places! One of my favorites was Sweet Maple located in Lower Pacific Heights, close to Japantown. It is a popular American breakfast/brunch spot, and I can see why! Walking up to the restaurant, there was a huge crowd waiting to be seated. We ended up waiting about an hour, but it was worth the wait!

We ordered the "Oscar Benedict", which was made with fresh dungeness crab, asparagus, capers, lemon, and cucumber wasabi hollandaise! It also came with a side of roasted potatoes. The second plate was the "Marnier French Toast". We both got a side of "Millionaire’s Bacon" which I thought was the best part! It's basically a thick slice of bacon baked with brown sugar, cayenne, red and black pepper. It was wonderfully sweet and spicy. Ahh~ just thinking about it is making my mouth water...

This is one place I will for sure go back to! It's a bit pricey, and there can be a long wait, but definitely worth it! If you are in the area I urge you to go and try it! — Minna

It's been a busy few days exploring San Francisco. I am so amazed with how much traffic there is! I thought I was going to die. I was driving somewhere that was only one mile away and took more than an hour... Now I learned it's better to just walk!

Last saturday was Valentine's Day! I was walking around and spotted some sweet hearts on the streets. I also got to see the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time yesterday! I can't wait to show you more photos later on... Hope you all have a wonderful day! — Minna

There are days when we feel like doing nothing, and that's okay. Life can be overwhelming at times, but taking the time to relax and breathe is a good way to meditate and think. When i'm feeling stressed, I like to go out and take a long walk, not focusing on anything in particular, but just enjoying the scenery and feeling peace. — Minna
