I know I had specific plans for Minnie Indie #51 and 52 but now things have changed. Whatever. I recently shot video down in Chicago to try out a stitching technique with video. Many people are familiar with panoramas using still photos pieced together. I'm essentially doing the same thing with video. I pick a scene and shoot part of it for 6-10 seconds. Then, I move the camera to the edge of where I believe the first frame ended and repeat a few times. The result is something to the effect of moving puzzle pieces. I was inspired by a June 6th 2008 Rocketboom episode that did the same thing. Video commentary provided by Steve Barone and Michael AtkinsonI composed the music bed using an acoustic guitar and reversing and slowing down a piece of classical music that was chopped into segments and butted up to each other.
