A porous, outdated, and inflexible system breaks down. If organizations possess a high level of organizational resilience, they can overcome challenges much more successfully. For functioning knowledge management in the company and in private life, it takes sensible filters to be able to process the flow of information.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;What good are acronyms like BANI and VUCA?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Even the founder of the acronym states that the above approaches are rather reactions than actual solutions. Nevertheless, such word creations can remind us where to start. In addition, they enable us to name the feeling of uncertainty and thus create more clarity. Clarity is much needed in these times.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;It is certain that everything will change, as systems exist everywhere: be it on a state and economic level or even people’s personal lives and relationships with friends and family.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;BANI does not guide developing organizations. Our world is not just volatile. It has turned out that rapid change is a big problem especially when the system is inflexible. Brittle is exactly the right word to describe this condition: A brittle system usually looks very stable, but becomes porous and breaks over time, mostly unexpected.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;The consequences of such a brittle system are worsened by the surprise factor. A brittle system can give the impression that it is strong and sturdy, but a critical point of failure can lead to a collapse with devastating consequences.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;This is caused by two factors:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;1- The relentless pursuit of profit and maximizing efficiency comes at the expense of other equally important factors. Organizations and their executives often overlook this. Thus, for example, a lack of employee relations can lead to a shortage of skilled workers, which in turn makes the system brittle from the inside out. This is where emotional intelligence and more company empathy play an important role in structured organizations.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;2- The lack of willingness to put up with brittle factors inside an organization. Those gaps in the system are often overlooked, willfully ignored, or cannot be remedied because of a lack of skills and knowledge.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;An increasingly interconnected world means that a brittle system can have enormous consequences. A failure of an important structure can then lead to a whole series of failures. One example is the world financial crisis of 2007, which shows that present symptoms today can lead to a global snowball effect. This is why adopting well-distributed structures has become even more important.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Anxious:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Anxiety reflects Uncertainty. It involves fear that something significant can break away at any time. Anxiety is a way to safeguard security. An uncertain system therefore can therefore generate immense anxiety.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;An anxious world leads to a passive attitude. Anxiety causes us to become more risk-averse, which influences a person’s ability to function in an individual or business context. Fear and anxiety are not at all helpful, as we tend to refrain from taking the necessary responsibility or engage in obsessive analysis. This fear of action can also turn into a constant feeling of despair, which negatively influences the decision-making process.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;In addition, our media speaks in a particular language that is designed to promote fear. Reading positive news stories is becoming increasingly difficult. We receive tons of bad or fake news. Bad news or related posts leave not much room for positivity, but instead, constantly foster new feelings of anxiety.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;As most of us are pessimists by nature, as this attitude preserves us from harm, this kind of risk avoidance can be cumbersome if we want to create new innovative future scenarios and technological progress (artificial intelligence, data science, big data, just to name a few).&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Non-Linear:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Non-linearity is not a continuation, but an addition to complexity. The reason is simply that the systems in which we live and work are extremely complex. This means that in these complex systems, the link between cause and effect is not always given.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;All too often, we are making sense by assuming that A leads to B, which in turn leads to C. However, this is not the case. We cannot only take B for one reason, as most of the time an entire construct and synergies lie behind a consequence. In the same manner, A also does not inevitably lead to a single effect but can result in multiple destinations.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;This means that the measures taken cannot be linked to the result in a recognizable or predictable way. Big efforts show no effect or small decisions have a massive impact.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Let us take global warming as a prime example: The period between cause and effect is so great that we can hardly comprehend the connection. Even if we stopped most present symptoms from today onwards, the effects on the climate would not be felt immediately, but also for entire generations after us.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Incomprehensible:&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Incomprehensibility is ultimately the consequence of our non-linear world and goes one-step further than ambiguity. The developer of the BANI concept cites an example from software development. In this example, a code does not fulfill an explicit function and would, at least in theory, be redundant. However, if you remove this code, the program crashes or cannot be installed anywhere. There is no conclusive explanation.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Understandability leads to orientation and clarity, which is central in times of change. Further, it diminishes surprise, which intensifies the subsequent effects. A crisis, which is not completely unpredictable and that does not surprise us, has a weaker impact on us. Understandability, therefore, ensures that we can at least cognitively take a step towards solution.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;When we do not understand something, it tends to be overwhelming. Incomprehensibility is a product of today’s flood of information or information overload. The bright spot, however, is that something we do not understand today does not necessarily mean that we cannot understand it in the near future. We can actively create understanding by establishing a collaborative culture with sufficient transparency. That is where the BANI world comes into play. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;The Age Of Chaos: Why We need BANI?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;In an increasingly chaotic world, the level of economic and social uncertainty is on the rise.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;We are witnessing so many uncertainties and main global challenges such as a new Cold War, global warming, climate catastrophes, and above all we are stuck in the middle of the biggest health crisis that puts our lives on standby.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;As creatures of habit, humans struggle with uncertainties and changes. Our brains are programmed to recognize patterns and wemi&amp;nbsp; ifll-distributed structures.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;How should we behave in such a world, where old patterns seem to crumble while new systems still need to be established? How can one manage to stay mentally healthy despite all this chaos?&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;The first step to salvation is knowledge. There are already quite a few models which aim at understanding chaotic patterns. The previous VUCA model is already outdated.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;For this reason, the author and futurist Jamais Cascio proposes a new model in his recent article “Facing the Age of Chaos“, named BANI in order to describe complex changes.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;From VUCA World to BANI World&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Before we take a closer look at the BANI concept, it is necessary to understand why we do not live in a VUCA world anymore.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;VUCA is a model, which explains disruption and is widely used in the business world. The VUCA acronym stands for Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;The US Army War College first published the VUCA concept in the late 1980s as a response to the collapse of the USSR to suit the new circumstances of a post-Cold War world. At the beginning of the new millennium, the VUCA concept was transferred to the business world.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;What made sense yesterday may not make so much sense today. In the meantime, corporate culture has drastically changed, and it has become increasingly essential to face a new challenge that lies ahead. In times, in which digitalization has become commonplace, we have adapted new skill sets and tools to keep pace with volatility and to capture complex systems.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;As an explanatory model, the VUCA environment is no longer sufficient to explain new business models, the current challenges for companies, and for society as a whole. The word authenticity is the state of something being authentic, or legitimate and true.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;An authentic person is defined as someone who isn't afraid to be true to who they are, including their personality, values, and principles in life. They don't bother compromising the entirety of who they are just for the comfort of others.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;In general, when talking about someone who is authentic, we mean that they are genuine, honest, and real. An authentic person is someone who is comfortable in their skin and doesn't feel the need to put on a front to fit in and be accepted by others. They know who they are, and they don't hide it.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Being authentic doesn't mean that we do whatever we feel like. It is the highest level of self-awareness and expression of a growth mindset. It means that we know exactly who we are and what we stand for and our self-esteem doesn't depend on how many people like us or agree with us.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;What is authenticity theory? The theory maintains that the most autonomous or authentic source of motivation is intrinsic motivation—a desire to engage in behaviors because they are inherently enjoyable or interesting (Deci &amp;amp; Ryan, 1985; Ryan &amp;amp; Deci, 2000). Fikir-fikir ini timbul kerana aku yakin pendekatan program latihan dan suasana pembelajaran merupakan faktor utama mengapa ramai di waktu ini melihat pembangunan kompetensi dan kapabiliti itu sebagai perkara terakhir yang dipertimbangkan bilamana ingin mencapai sesuatu hajat. Adakah untuk menwujudkan dua perkara ini tidak mampu kita lakukan? Soalnya mengapa begitu? &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both;"&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Itulah, satu awal pagi, aku diberi tawaran untuk mengikuti satu lawatan ke Petronas Leadership Center (PLC). Mula-mula aku berbelah bagi untuk mengikuti lawatan ini sebab aku pernah melawati PLC sebelum ini, namun terdetik hati aku agar tidak melepaskan peluang ini. Kenapa? Aku ingin melihat apa perubahan yang berlaku di PLC tambah-tambah lagi PLC ini telah berpindah ke kompleks latihan yang baru.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Memang betul sangkaan aku, PLC memang telah jauh berubah! Bermula dari pintu masuk utamanya, aku sudah boleh dapat rasakan aura hebatnya. Dapat aku rasakan, bahawa mungkin tiada kompleks latihan di Malaysia ini yang mampu menandingi kehebatan kelengkapan dan suasana seperti ‘ala resort’ ini. Mungkin PLC ini merupakan salah satu kompleks latihan terbaik di dunia!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Dari cerita orang PLC, permintaan untuk mengikuti latihan dan menganjurkan latihan di PLC tidak putus-putus malah ‘waiting time’ untuk mendapatkan tempat juga agak lama. Yang menariknya, harga untuk menggunakan fasiliti di PLC ini jauh lebih murah dari yang ditawarkan oleh pihak luar tetapi kualiti fasilitinya jauh lebih baik berbanding pihak luar! Satu perkara yang menjadi tarikan aku ialah aku dapati buku-buku dalam librarynya semuanya buku-buku terkini … buku-buku taraf Kinokuniya! Hebat!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Aku sebenarnya lebih teruja dengan pendekatan yang diambil oleh PLC dalam membangunkan kompetensi dan kapabiliti anggota kerja Petronas.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Pertama, aku lihat, PLC sangat mementingkan hubungan dan kerjasama dengan semua pihak berkepentingan dalam bidang latihan. Baik dengan para top leaders, pihak Pembangunan Insan (HR) mahupun dengan semua unit-unit bisnes yang ada dalam Petronas.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Kedua, PLC ini sangat berpandangan jauh. PLC telah dibina setelah mengambil-kira segala cabaran yang bakal dihadapi Petronas dalam masa-masa mendatang. Untuk itu, PLC sangat mengambil berat untuk beroperasi berdasarkan bisnes model yang paling relevan. Bak kata salah seorang orang kanan PLC ini, bisnes model sesuatu organisasi itu sangat mempengaruhi behavior anggota kerjanya dan hasil yang bakal diterima. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Ketiga, pendekatan program latihan yang digunakan berkonsepkan ‘deep learning’. Setiap program latihan itu dibincang bersama ketua sesuatu unit bisnes itu dengan mengambil kira segala cabaran dan keperluan unit bisnes tersebut dalam usaha mencapai matlamatnya. Ianya kemudian diikuti dengan merekabentuk program latihan yang sewajarnya. Sebelum sesuatu program latihan itu dilaksanakan, persetujuan dari para ketua unit bisnes perlu didapatkan. Setelah itu, baru program latihan itu dilaksanakan dengan pemantauan yang sewajarnya. Kesemua kerja yang terkandung dalam pembangunan dan perlaksanaan program latihan ini sebenarnya dikelolakan oleh Talent Development Expert yang bertauliah. Dalam kata lain, program latihan mereka memang terjamin berkualiti! Hebat!&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Sebenarnya ada banyak lagi perkara-perkara positif yang aku pelajari tetapi apa yang dinyatakan di atas aku lihat merupakan perkara pokok yang aku temui dan ini semuanya menjawab segala persoalan aku di dalam perenggan pertama di atas.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Semasa minum teh selepas sessi discussion bersama anggota kerja PLC pagi itu, aku sempat bertanya kepada salah seorang dari mereka samada mereka mempunyai masalah dalam mendapatkan kerjasama dari para leaders dalam membangunkan kompetensi dan kapabiliti anggota kerja mereka? (dari apa yang aku saksikan, aku sebenarnya sudah dapat menggagak jawapannya). Kata beliau, itu bukan masalah utama mereka malah merupakan masalah kecil dan jarang berlaku! Pergghhhhh … memang aku teruja!&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Masih terngiang-ngiang di telinga aku , bilamana mereka menyatakan apa yang kelihatan di PLC di waktu ini adalah berkat visi para pemimpin atasan mereka yang melihat bahawa untuk kekal relevan di masa depan yang penuh dengan VUCA dan BANI ini, mereka perlu serius untuk melihat pembangunan kompetensi dan kapabiliti anggota kerja mereka sebagai satu investment yang mesti dibuat. Juga, ianya mesti dilaksanakan dengan cara yang terbaik dan paling praktikal! Yang lebih menarik lagi, mereka telah melakukan ini dengan benar-benar mengetahui apakah WHY dan HOW yang perlu ditekankan dalam membangunkan PLC!&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Sebelum pulang, aku sempat memerhati gelagat mereka yang sedang mengikuti latihan di PLC ini. Jelas pada aku bahawa mereka belajar dengan penuh ceria dalam suasana yang menggalakkan perbincangan dan kolaborasi. (Kelengkapan dan suasana PLC sangat mempengaruhi!) Kepuasan belajar di kalangan mereka memang jelas kelihatan. Semuanya bermula bilamana saya terserempak dengan perkara yang dibincangkan di dalam buku ‘Winning the War in Your Mind’, tulisan Craig Groeschel.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both;"&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Memang betul kata buku ini, percakapan diri kita sebenarnya lebih merupakan satu peperangan antara elemen baik dan elemen perosak yang ingin menguasai diri kita. Dalam banyak hal, kita dari dulu kurang memahami wujudnya pertembungan dua elemen ini lalu menyebabkan kita menyangka bahawa kita sahaja yang mengalami perkara ini. Walhal, jika kita memahami, semua kita sebenarnya mengalami perkara ini.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Sekiranya kita sedar, peperangan dalam diri ini tidak pernah berhenti. Ada-ada saja konflik yang wujud dalam diri. Sekiranya kita tidak benar-benar kuat, konflik dalam diri ini mudah membuatkan kita stress lalu depress dalam hidup ini. Kita mesti cari jalan bagaimana kita mampu menangani perkara ini dengan sewajarnya, guna untuk memastikan hidup kita yang sementara dan singkat ini benar-benar bermenafaat kepada diri kita.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Bercakap tentang kaedah untuk menangani hal ini, kita perlu mempunyai satu ilmu mengenali diri. Ada banyak caranya kita boleh mengenali diri dan dari banyak kaedah yang ada itu, saya suka dengan konsep ‘Stick Person’ yang telah dipopularkan oleh Bob Proctor satu ketika dulu. Melalui konsep ini, mudah kita melihat bagaimana elemen diri kita yang bukan berbentuk fizikal iaitu intelektual, emotional dan spiritual berfungsi lalu menghasilkan hasil dalam diri kita. (Cerita lanjut konsep ini ada saya perincikan dalam modul ‘Membina Mentaliti Berdaya Maju’ (Developing Growth Mindset) yang merupakan salah satu modul utama dalam program Budaya Juara (Culture of Champions).&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Melalui konsep ‘Stick Person’ tersebut, saya dapati jalan paling praktikal untuk menangani peperangan dalam diri kita ialah dengan mengamalkan nilai bersangka baik, bersyukur, bermuhassabah diri dan sentiasa bersandar/berharap kepadaNya. Itulah kaedah yang paling praktikal bagi memastikan kesemua elemen yang bersengketa dalam diri kita itu mampu untuk harmoni. Dalam kata lain, itulah wisdom mengapa kita dituntut mengamalkan nilai-nilai tersebut.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Saya sedar, untuk mengamalkan apa yang dinyatakan di atas bukan mudah. Tetapi jika kita lihat dari sejarah hidup masing-masing, banyak huru hara yang telah kita lalui berpunca daripada percakapan diri yang penuh dengan sengketa. Tapi apa pun, seperti ceritanya hal kehidupan yang lain, bila sampainya untuk aku move on, aku mesti move on. Hidup ini sekejap. Satu harapan yang sekian lama terpendam ialah harapan aku untuk membawa segala ilmu dan pengalaman yang aku telah compile dalam bentuk modul2 itu. Masih aku ingat, semenjak aku dalam lingkungan umur awal 30an lagi, aku sebenarnya telah menanam harapan ini. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Of course segala macam soalan timbul dalam benak hati aku. Mahukah orang terima ilmu ini? Adakah mampu aku create buy-in dari mereka? Aku punya kuderat untuk melakukan ini semua? Apapun, tak guna aku melayani soalan-soalan sebegini. Buat saja. After all, ini ikigai aku. Kata beliau, hidup ini rupanya mudah sahaja tetapi kita yang buatnya jadi kusut. Aku rasa pelik kenapa tetiba saja beliau berkata begitu. Apapun, menarik perbualan aku dan beliau tentang perkara ini. Kami melihat yang menyebabkan kita menjadikan hidup ini kusut sebab ramai di antara kita yang terbawa-bawa mahu diperakui orang lain, suka membandingkan hidup sendiri dengan hidup orang lain dan suka menuruti keinginan yang sebenarnya kita tidak perlukan.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Maka sudahnya kita susah untuk bersyukur dan sentiasa rasa tidak cukup. Tanda kita bersyukur ialah kita sentiasa sangka baik dengan Tuhan walau apa pun dugaan yang diberikanNya, kita sentiasa berharap dan bersandar kepadaNya dan atas sebab itu kita kita sentiasa terus menerus berdoa dan berusaha tanpa putus asa.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Aku lihat cara pandang begini sangat baik dan aku harap di masa depan, aku mampu subscribe kepada cara pandang ini terutama dalam membawa modul2 aku ke tengah masyarakat.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span lang="EN-US"&gt;Berdasarkan apa yang aku fikir dan rasakan diatas, itulah sebab aku berazam untuk memastikan masa-masa yang masih berbaki ini dapat aku gunakan dengan penuh berkat. Tahun untuk aku buka buku baru dalam karier aku. Tahun ini, tahun untuk aku melangkah keluar dari TNB dan memasuki alam baru. Alam persaraan dari TNB. Apapun, persaraan ini bukan bermakna aku bersara terus kerana prinsip aku, selagi nyawa di kandung badan, selagi tubuh aku masih sihat, dengan izin Tuhan, aku tidak akan berhenti berusaha. Bagi aku, bersara sebenar hanya wujud bilamana nyawa aku bercerai dari tubuh aku. Rugi rasanya aku sia-siakan masa aku di atas mukabumi ini tanpa melakukan sesuatu yang bemenafaat.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Mulai waktu aku meninggalkan TNB nanti, aku ingin tumpukan waktu aku untuk memperkembangkan idea Culture of Champions (COC) seluas mungkin. Ini satu perkara yang telah lama aku idamkan. Aku mahu tumpukan agar COC ini memberi nilai kepada manusia yang sudi belajar tentang COC ini. Aku harap usaha ini akan mendapat rahmat dan berkat dari Tuhan, baik untuk kebaikan di dunia mahupun di akhirat.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Apapun, satu perkara peribadi yang mahu aku perbaiki tentang diri aku khasnya dalam tahun ini ialah memperbaiki kualiti 'self talk' aku. Entah kenapa lately ini, perkara 'self talk' ini sangat dekat dengan aku. Aku sangat aware mutu 'self talk' aku sangat mempengaruhi hasil yang aku terima dalam hidup ini. In such a world, the ability to survive and succeed in whatever we do must begin with having the right mindset. It seems that many people are talking about the importance of having the right mindset and no less also really understand it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;However, it seems that we do not have a specific, practical, and systematic method to make it easier for us to build the necessary mindset.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;If this is not addressed, it will be difficult for us to survive and succeed in whatever we do. The story is simple but rarely known to people. &lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;The real value of this program lies in the willingness of the participants to apply the ideas in a specific manner from the four modules above in their lives and followed by coaching to help them solve any complexities in applying the ideas. I must also emphasize here that the success of using these ideas is highly dependent on the intentions of the participants.
