I once worked in a bookstore and managed to read many, many books on spirituality and motivation and whilst a lot of them helped, they took a long time and left me broke. Only TWO days ago I was browsing youtube and I saw a video by Baba and now my life has changed dramatically. I live at the back of a tubercolosis hospital and was on the verge of homelessness and had not a single dime to my name but in 5minutes, do you get that, 5 minutes, I manifested 60rands (i.e.10 dollars) and less than 24 hours later I manifested 30thousand rands (about 4000dollars in American currency. Just today I manifested a computer. Miracle after miracle after miracle. And to think I spent so much money which I did not even have on motivational books and DVD which, although helpful, had a transient effect when I could have just gotten such loving guidance from Baba for free. Thank you Baba. When you spoke about instantaneous manifestation I honestly did not take that literally. I simply could not see how or where I was going to get money to keep my body and soul together. Goodness me I have been so poor in the past 2years and I just wanted to die but thank you so much for changing my life. This is my second day and I must admit I was nervous about extraordinary things happening to me. Thank you. God bless. I am still astonished. Two blessed days! I have never experienced anything like this before! Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I constantly wanna cry because of the immense gratitude I feel towards you. Thank you.

I told a couple of individuals about this and they were speechless – it was a miracle. I promised to try it again and this time I would video record it and see what happens. This was the next day – yesterday (August 21st). So I did - again I did the same thing – I chanted the miracle mantra and I offered the milk-filled spoon to Dattatreya Siva Baba’s Statue. He quickly accepted it.

There’s no way for me to explain this… expect that it IS the time for miracles. Individuals need to believe in those miracles, be accepting of them and be open to them. We are surrounded by such phenomenon and miracles during every moment of every day.

I am filled with gratitude to Baba for allowing me to witness this phenomenon first-hand. And I welcome whole-heartedly what He has to offer all of us.

Namaste, With Ganesha’s Birthday around the corner I would like to share a fun story. Last week I followed my Astroved reports and as predicted I had a roller coaster week at my business. Wednesday was scary but I followed Baba’s teaching and did mantras, lit incense listened to the you tube SHREEM video and of course cut those limes. When I checked Astroved on Friday I was relieved to have a great day in store for me at work. I even called in an extra helper. I drove in to town with fresh flowers for the store and a song in my heart. As i approached my business location I noticed that the work crews had finished the asphalting (dirty stinky noisy) project and I did not have to go the long way around. I found a parking spot next to my shop (unusual for a Friday) and with an armload of flowers rounded the corner to a street full of no parking signs. Oh no! My block was closed off for the entire weekend for street repair. Like so many others I really could not afford to lose an entire weekend of sales. I walked in and asked my employee if the asphalt company had been working earlier. She said no and I hoped it was just a mistake. I walked outside to see a huge piece of equipment pull in across the street. Out of my mouth came Oh Ganesha NO! I turned my back walked into my office, lit my candle, put the beautiful flowers in vases, lit the planetary incense of the day hoping to fill the shop with positive energy so that shoppers would come anyway. As I got to the front door (with lit incense in hand) my jaw dropped! To my right there was a crew of men removing the no parking signs. In front of me was a commercial tow truck hauling away the equipment that had broken down. Ok kids ….this all took place within 15 minutes. WOW Om Gum Ganesha. Thank you Baba!

I applied for my license to practice as a psychologist in NY state in February 09, shortly after my husband and I moved to NYC from England. I was preparing to take the exam for licensure when I was blind sided with a notice from the NYS psych board stating that my doctoral education did not meet the state requirements. After days that turned into weeks of attempting to speak to the right people and understand exactly how this could be, the reality was that the NYS psych board was not going to recognize my doctorate. I wrote an appeal and waited another 2 months to be told the same thing - no recognized doctorate in NYS.

I first encountered Baba through Wayne Dyer”s book - Manifest Your Destiny, in June of this year. I began listening to and chanting Baba’s mantra’s from You Tube, then discovered that Baba would be in Palisades, NY. I attended and stepped up my practice of meditation and chants - specifically Guru Namashivaya and the Miracle Mantra. I also began attending the Fire Ceremonies and Grace Light Meditations. Alakesh recommended the Lord Muruga chants and I looked for a Vel.

In the days after attending the Palisades workshop, I braved the NYS psych board again. I refused to accept their ruling and pursued a respectful, patient relationship with a rep from the board and politely insisted there must be some reasonable solution to this. Another couple of weeks later she asked for some documents regarding course work from my university. “Wonderful”, so I thought. My university claimed that their computer that had the docs from the years I attended had crashed and anyways - what I was trying to do would not work! This was not acceptable… I stepped up my meditations and chants and called everyone at my university including the president. LOL! A week later, I received a letter via registered mail explaining what I was trying to do would not work. I demanded some current documents (other than what the board requested) from my University and with great hesitation - they finally sent me some docs. I immediately forwarded them to the Psych Board and waited.

Alakesh gave me his Vel (wow!) and I waited and expected a miracle…

Days after receiving the Vel (it was Tuesday), the board sent me a letter - “Dear Dr. K…” I am now officially recognized as a Clinical Psychologist (with a limited license until I pass the exam) in the state of New York!

Anyone who has ever had to deal with state boards or bureaucracies can appreciate that this is truly a miracle. I was not even able to send them the docs they requested and somehow….

Thank You Baba!

Dattatreya Siva Baba taught an event in April (see the “Awaken Your Inner Power” videos on Baba’s YouTube channel). One thing He said was that we could roll and cut 1,008 limes in one sitting in order to get miraculous relief from a big problem. I rolled and cut 1,008 little key limes. Immediately some persistent depressed & negative feelings were lifted - I felt happier. Then within a month I found a much better place to live. Thank you Baba…the limes absolutely do work, just like You said.

I start my day with a visit to the Astroved site. Last week my moonsign said money could be coming my way. With all my heart I believe in Baba’s teachings and I do the best I can doing a “home study” on my own using the internet. I light my incense of the day and choose mantras that feel right and cut limes to remove negative money karma. If you read my earlier post I had an amazing money miracle on July 06 and felt a little greedy about another. I read an Astroved post about Baba’s ashram working so hard to help everyone with their financial woes and decided to become part of the solution. I play the Shreem Mantra in the morning before work and the Astroved “free” Planetary Mantra of the day and of course burn the magical incense. I signed up for the Jupiter transit help (my first purchase) what a bargain and it came with gifts! Earlier this week my Astroved report said perhaps money from an unexpected source. Well nothing happened but I was happy for another Aires in the family and I could just imagine the thrill of a little tickle from Baba. Oh hmmmm I missed a call earlier in the day on my cell phone. It came in of course during the “Good Time”. A company I do business found THREE invoices that they owed me from 2005 approx. $700. WOW Thank you Baba for looking out for all of us. Just a couple of days earlier i started using the mantra “Om guru namah shivaya dram dattatreya shiva baba namaha”. Today,while coming back from the gym in the night, I located a $100 bill at my feet in the dark !!! Such an incident has happened for first time in my life.

I have been doing this mantra in all my free time; A few hundred times before going to bed and after waking up. This is a very beautiful, as I was wondering where will the money come from as I am not even on a payroll now.

When I moved to LA I lived down the street from Yogananda’s ashram. I would walk there, listen to Baba on my cd player and meditate in the hall where Yogananda taught.

On my birthday in 2005, I went into the temple of leaves he loved so in the garden down the hill and he popped into my 3rd eye. He was outrageous.

He said “Happy birthday, Movie star for God! Here is what is going to happen to you.” Then I saw myself with my skin peeling away like a cracked coconut and then my soul blasting off and shooting upwards like a rocket ship!

I asked Sivadas, my friend who was with me, if that was just my ego rattling and he said it was the real thing.

On the Tortola trip, Baba told me that I should be making movies and you know the rest. Then on the 29th got the worst sunburn of my life and all my old skin peeled away.

So the dream with Yogananda was prophetic.

Another devotee told me something that Baba had said on the birthday trip:”If you will just fall head over heels in love with me—then i will make myself available to you.” And so i prayed to fall head over heels in love with Baba as never before…and that’s just what happened….Baba took me into my heart and I talked intimately many times on this trip. I am just blown away by his love and compassion.

On the night of the full moon he looked so beautiful doing the fire ceremony on  the beach with the surf coming in. Ifelt like I was with the Lord….and I was, and I am.

To go on this trip was the most important investment of my life.

On the beach that night Mohini hugged me and looked into my eyes after Baba gave me my name–Namasivaya. She said, “Baba has given you everything”

This was the most important thing that I have ever done in my life.

All of us have come to that time in our practice when we don’t feel like our practices are working. I know I have.. After thinking about this for some time I have thought that we can fall into a rut of just working the practice, but devoid of the joy. I have decided that the ultimate love of the Beloved will change all that. When our heart is fueled by this adoration of the Divine, everything becomes easy.

Yesterday I went to see the amazing South Pacific revival at Lincoln Centre. It’s a story about the transforming power of love. I couldn’t help thinking about Baba when I heard this song, which Rogers and Hammerstein surely had channeled from the angels! I leave you with this, which expresses the mystery of finding my Beloved: Dattatreya Siva Baba.

I seriously injured my back on June 27, 2009. With the help of Dattatreya Siva Baba, I experienced a miraculous healing. On Tuesday, June 30, 2009, the 4th day since the injury, I continued to suffer intense pain. Even with the use of a cane, it took an hour for me to physically get out of bed. The pain would often almost drop me to the floor and I could only get out of a car with the help of my wife. Late that afternoon, I went to see my primary care physician. He immediately sent me to the hospital emergency room. There, they confirmed I had suffered a soft tissue injury. This means I had either injured the muscles or the ligaments or both, that help to support my back. At the request of Baba, a priest of Lord Hanuman (also known as an Angel Reader) called me from southern India the next day (Wednesday) at midday my time. Over the phone, he divinely determined that I was suffering from karma passed down through my ancestors. He said he would do remedies in a temple over the next 3 days. He said this would help a lot and that I should report to him in 3 days on my status.

That day, I only took only one more round of the pills the hospital had given me. On Thursday (July 2nd), I did not need to take any more pills and by Friday, I was completely out of pain and resumed my normal level of activity. On Saturday (July 4th), I loaded our luggage into the car, and drove 6 hours to attend a Guru Purnama event in New York. I made this trip with out any pain or discomfort. At the event, I had a chance to personally thank Baba. It has now been more than one month since the injury and I have not had any more pain.

Through a miracle created by Dattatreya Siva Baba I was moving into a house. First we needed to paint the entire place. There was some negative energy in the house, especially in one room. First I placed a CD player there, playing Baba’s mantras on repeat, 24 hours a day. Then, someone suggested that it is powerful to paint mantras on the walls. Using primer, I spent a couple hours painting the sacred sounds taught by Dattatreya Siva Baba throughout the house. Later when the walls are painted, the mantras writen in primer won’t be visible. Before I even finished with the mantras, there was a profound change in the energy. The feelings of uneasiness and fear were cleared away, and I felt uplifted by Divine support, protection, and light. It’s like a totally different place.

Through practicing Dattatreya Siva Baba’s techniques I was able to buy a house. I dreamed of having a house for the past 10 years, but I wasn’t able to have a good living space. When I started using the Guru Namasivaya mantra and affirmation taught by Dattatreya Siva Baba, many miracles started happening. I will keep practicing - Thank you Baba!

I have just had the most beautiful miracle that I can imagine.

In the last few days I started to understand a ‘little’ more about spiritual stuff and the processes involved. So I run off and get this little red carpet square (gifted to me) on which to create an alter. On this alter (which I cannot leave permanently on the floor) I placed pictures of Siva Baba, Jesus, The Virgin Mary, candles, incense, and everything else that I could find to create a spiritual atmosphere of Bliss.

And I chanted and prayed from the very depths of my heart strangely enough not for the stuff I am always obsessing about but for the qualities that I would like to have and the removal of the bad qualities. Anyway, my prayers and desires were answered beyond my expectation since I did not even know what it was like not to have those bad feelings. I was absolutely delighted and even more so that my obsessions were completely removed, even without my asking leaving me beautifully clean, clear and sort of empty in the nicest possible way.

So I was waiting with great anticipation to set up my alter today and sat down with the intention of simply giving thanks ( no obsessions need to be fulfilled anymore:) ). I go through my process of saying Christian Prayers and then chanting mantras and while chanting I suddenly worried that maybe Shiva will be angry that I said the Christian stuff first and maybe Jesus will be angry because I spent more time in appreciation to Siva Baba. When I finally calmed down I realised that I was attributing my own weakness to the Almighty and since they are one and above this nonsense all was well, and I shouldn’t project. So I simply continued and towards the end asked Siva Baba to please give me a sign that he had heard my hearts desire. When I felt I was done, I got up, and started putting away everything, finally putting the picture of Jesus back on my desk. Well!!! What do you know? There is the most beautiful SB that looks like a $ signature on my picture. It is not on the Siva Baba picture so I know that Siva Baba is telling me that they are the same and He has heard and understands.

I have been granted many miracles these past couple of years. I can tell you that when one’s desire is for others, the prayer will work just as Baba says. I would like to tell you that I am quite “learned” in spirtitual philosophy. My greatest influence up until meeting Baba has been Ramana Maharshi. I consider Sri Ramana as an authority on reality. He said that the only way to determine if a Guru is legit is by the amount of peace found in his or her presence and the respect one feels for the Guru. Well when I first saw Baba on Youtube, I immediately felt peace, the mind went still, and respect bubbled up. Of course, I still had doubts as that’s what the human mind is, doubt. The Divine Mind is faith, complete positivity. Anyway, during the Grace Light event on July 17, 2008, Baba was talking about the Middle East. I had a very negative thought pop into my mind; that the only solution is to bomb the you no what out of that place. Baba immediately gave me a look of disgust that I will never forget. It froze me in my tracks. I immediately repented and asked for forgiveness through my mind. That happening was the most significant part of the event for me. It showed me that Baba knows you inside and out, so you better check your thoughts. What a teaching, a simple “tough love” look. It froze my mind and sent a chill down my spine. During the break, I stayed in my seat staring into his eyes and 3rd eye center, there was no-mind! A true guru lives amongst us!

It was a miracle to get a job during this challenging times especially when the rate of unemployment is 9.25% I was chanting Guru Namashivaya mantra sincerely for 2 weeks everyday for 30 minutes. Within those 2 weeks, I have been called for a phone interview and it just went for 20 minutes and in another 30 mins, I got an offer letter asking me to join in 2 days..how fast was that…within no time.
