Status message into variable to nas

Today i finished my miranda's look and i'm happy, but now i want to put Status Message into variable for my New Away System message.
For example my Status Message is "Watching films, do not disturb !!!" and Autoreply Away Message will be "I'm not here since %nas_awaysince_time%, actual status is: Watching films, do not disturb !!!"
I googled it, but without success, maybe i googled bad, if anybody knows how do it, please help, thx

Problem blocking someone on MSN

I have someone sending me messages over MSN and I want to block them from being able to send me messages (or failing that, make Miranda totally ignore this person and anything this person sends). I have selected "block" from the dropdown to try and block this person but that does nothing and the messages keep coming.

What do I need to do to get this to work and this person/bot/whatever to stop sending me messages?
I am running version 0.9.42 of Miranda.

Hi, i have final problem, today i set new skin, but if i show contact list all windows change size and contact list can't overlap any window, i tried all checkboxes in Contacts > Window, but without success. It must be in another place in settings.

Disable Modern Options dialog and always show Classic Options - how?

As an experienced user of various software I find modern options dialog absolutely useless for me and extremely awkward - but I get it all the time I invoke Options - is there a way to always show classic options?

Can't seem to block Random Yahoo contacts

I have option set to only allow contacts on my Yahoo Buddy List. However, everyday new contacts popup that I have to then 'deny'. How can I just totally ignore/block anyone not on my Yahoo buddy list?

Hi guys, today i have problem with PopUp+ and NewEventNotify, when PopUp+ alert me for a message, it doesn't hide, it stays and waits for click), then i download NewEventNotify for show PopUp+ with content of the message, it works fine, but now i have 2 PopUps for one message.
Can i have only PopUp+ with active content of message and why it doesn't hide ?

I'm sure many of you here use Firefox or Chrome...

I don't know if those companies have gone nuts (mozilla / google), but it seems they completely forgot what the first number stands for in programs' names.

It stands for a MAJOR RELEASE. Something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

Firefox hasn't really changed since version 4... yeah there were some things but they were minor at best, or bugfixes.... I thought of going to chrome but guess what, they're guilty of the same thing; currently working on versions 17 and 18 at the same time... the heck?

Why did I think it was necessary to write this? Well I just got fed up when I just updated to FF10 and checked the release notes... four new things out of which ones is "the forward button is hidden if there isn't need for it".....

Yes and that deserves a major release does it? A FORW...... I rest my case, hehe.

Anyway...

I love Miranda even though it's not even v1.0... and guess what, I don't care about the number. I see every new release has some MSN fixes and other stability improvements, and what changes is not even the minor version number, but it's even the minor-minor one, 0.9.X !

Please, don't ever change your policy or whatever.

Hot Coffee - how to send message just by hitting enter....

Hi there, sorry about the stupidly simple question but it's something that's really bugged me since I set up Hot Coffee last night on my netbook. After reinstalling Windows I realized I'd forgotten to save any of the Miranda profile info and didn't want to have to go through installing each and every protocol, icon etc and stumbled across Hot Coffee which was great as I could still use Miranda, although it wasn't the same as what I'd got used to.

I've tweaked the notification sounds and have trawled through the options and settings but can't seem to find something to enable me to send messages by hitting Enter as opposed to having to move the cursor over and clicking on the send button. It's driving me crackers and the fact that there's probably such a simple solution makes it worse!

I downloaded the new miranda, and as you know, it makes new line with shift+enter. Is there any possibility to disable this annoying function? Also, do you know why was it implemented? Isn't ctrl+enter enought?

PopUp Plus: notification about incoming messages don't disapear

Hi All

I've updated PopUp Plus plugin to the 2.1.1.5 version. Unfortunatelly there are two things, that makes me really angry:

I receive notification about incoming messages
Popups don't dissapear

I've checked my settings, and:

Message Sessions / Event notifications - I've checked "Disable event notifications for instant messages", "Disable event notifications for group chats" under the "Disable notifications"
Message Sessions / Event notifications / Popup options - I've set timeout 0 for Message, Others and Group chats timeout

I have to admit, that it really makes me nervous� :-/

New Incomming message pops up behind other windows V0.9.27

When a buddy sends me a message, the window pops up behind other windows.

If I am not right there at the time, (maybe getting a cup of coffee) then it may be a while before I notice.

How can I make it pop up in front?

How can I get more information to you like the srmm version, or whatever I am using?

How To Differentiate Message Windows?

Hello.

I just start to use Miranda, it is cool.

When I message with many contacts, I find it very hard to get which window belong to whom. It will be wonderful, if I can override contact's avatar. Some contacts do not have an avatar, some have irrelevant ones or they frequently change it.

What can I do to differentiate message windows? Please advice.

How the heck do you change the font size in the Instant Messenger Window?

I am using the newest version of miranda. I have gone to options and changed the font for everything that it lists - chat modules, contact list, general, jabber, and message log. It has no effect on the font of the actual windows that I am using to talk to people. The font is so small you can barely read it. How the heck to you change it? I am using windows xp.
