Marche has French-Japanese cuisine and is delicious. They have a variety of seafood as well as some pasta and steak dishes. They are open from 11:00-2:00 (last order 1:45) and 5:00pm - 9:30 (last order 9:00). The garlic bread alone is worth the trip :).

Directions: Go out the main gate to the first light and go straight. Make a left at the first side street on the left. Marche will be on the left and there will be a paid parking lot on the right. I recommend taking a ticket and parking in the lot. It is only about a hundred yen.

Here is the restaurant map for Misawa - Misawa Restaurant Map

Word On The Street....

That there is a Tony Roma's in Aomori.... In effort to make it more reallistic of Misawa life... I will be blogging some of the craziness that is going on in our life. First things first winter is on its way and it is COLD!!! Okay, not as cold as it could be but me and my chicken legs are not appreciating the dropping temps. Second, I have been incredibly busy this last year traveling, starting a new job, husband deploying, and keeping up with two kids that have real homework this year. No complaints though it has been fantastic! Being in Northern Japan it seems like we are always busy doing something so I will be updating the site, adding pics, restaurants and general nonsense. Thank you for all the kind emails and I hope I got everyone's questions answered.

Cheers!
Kristen

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_xg-eRBppASc/SxCfRcyHxlI/AAAAAAAABeA/ttYpdMeU1KU/s320/DSC06431.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5408998274604975698" />

Climbing Mt Fuji - Summer 2009

Yes we made it to the top :)

Kenji World

*Click Image for Full View*

Kenji World is a waterpark near Morioka.
