So I'm hearing it's even more boring and racist than the first one? Seriously, I don't understand people who say, "Micheal Bay makes action movies, don't expect Shakespeare". That's the problem. Micheal Bay is a BAAAD action director. Fucking shaky cam, robots who all look the same and absolutly no sense of continuity. Bad Boys was awful. Bad Boys 2 made me feel bad. And I couldn't watch Pearl Harbor till the end. I never saw The Rock and Armageddon and probably never will. I'm not even going to bother downloading a copy of Transformers 2; not worth the time.

I don't normaly give trolls that kind of exposure, but with what's going on in the US right now, it's a good oppotunity to talk about SOCIALIZED (eeeeevil!) medicine. The commenter's named linked to Jeff Goldstein, a wingnut blogger with an inferiority complex, but I doubt it's him. He would use a sock-puppet to troll, as he got caught doing in the past.

But ANYWAY, I am feeling better. I have been followed by a social worker from almost the very start, which helped a lot and is free. I've had trouble finding a doctor, but this is partly my fault because I never got a family doctor, and because the first doctor I saw was an ass. Which cannot be blammed on SOCIALIZED (communiiiiist!) healthcare. I would have tried to find another doctor sooner, but TL;DR story, I was messed up. But for the past two months, I'm being followed by a doctor (free) and I am on an anti-depressant treatment (only 15$ a month for the pills, thanks to a state medicine collective insurrance). So yeah, SOCIALIZED (faaaaaaag!) medicine sucks a lot, NOT! As the Republicans always say: "Do you want bureaucrats taking care of your health?" If it's a choice between bureaucrats and an insurrance company looking to make a profit on my ass, fuck yeah I'll take the bureaucrat!

Anyway, I'm doing better. Not perfect, but a lot better. It'll take time. I'm taking things slowly, a long vacation. And for those who told me not to take pills, well sorry, you didn't know what you were talking about. :p But not as wrong as that troll was, lol!

It's incredible how little info there is about Iran on the cable news networks. I understand the Iranian government has kicked out all foreign media, but they should be able to use inside contacts. That's what the blogs are doing. Andrew Sullivan's blog is a good place to find information about current Iranian events.

I wasn't very optimistic about the protesters' chances against the government. Especially after yesterday's massive support rally for Adhmedinejadingdong. And if it wasn't enough that the riot police is blindly following orders, you've got militant thugs beating up women in the streets. But today's demonstration in support of Mousavi was even bigger it seems, with crowds that reached till the horizon.

Iranian Elections

If you're going to fix the electoral results, why not do something more believable, like Bush's victory in 2000. Ahmedinejad, or however its spelled, won with 69% (give more or less 3pts) of the votes, no matter which district. Can you imagine if Obama had won with 69%, even in the red states?? No fucking way.

I guess now it all depends on how pissed the Iranians are gonna be and how willing is the police to beat-up their fellow citizens. Any Iranians reading this blog? Is the Internet still available?

I consider this a bane of the Internets ever since I got online in the 20th century. People changing their nick, handles and logins. With over 300 people in my contact list (MSN, AIM, Yahoo and ICQ), how am I supposed to remember that Mr. "Now alone, my blood falls upon bleeding eyes. This is hell." is the same person as "Darth Maul 2099" I talked to last month? I can usualy avoid this because in Trillian, the handle the person used to first contact you always stays the same, even if he or she changes it. But now I'm stuck in MSN for a while... :-p

An abortion doctor was killed today, at his church, in what could be the first terrorist attack under the Obama administration. I'm pretty sure the shooter was no Muslim.

Conservatives have painted Obama as an abortionist, an atheist, a communist, a fascist, an islamic terrorist born on foreign soil. They created fantasies where gays conspire to destroy families, jewish lawyers wage war against x-mas and they were comforted in their views by 8 years of Bush. Now that they lost, do the conservatives elites who used this kind of cynical pandering think their psychofans (mispelled on purpose) are just going to store their guns away now that they believe their country is in peril?

Not long ago a report by the dept. of Homeland Security found that the most urgent terrorist threat against America was from Christian right-wing extremists. The report didn't please Republicans who saw it as an attack against freedom of religion, so the report was swept under the rug. When you spend your time convincing people that homos, jews and doctors are evil, you can't claim you've got no responsability when someone acts on this hatred.

I'm probably a bit late with this news, but Christopher Handley, a manga collector, pleaded guilty to “possession of obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children.” (from Wired) What's special about this case is it's the first time someone is found guilty of possessing child porn without possessing any REAL child porn. Before, when pedos got arrested and lolicon was found in their collection, the reason they were thrown in jail was because they also had REAL child porn in their possession.

Like most laws about pornographie, this is so many kinds of wrong. There's no clear definition of what pornographie is in the law. There's no clear definition of what artistic merit is. What is in good taste and what is not? If you jerk off to the picture above, you're a pedo. If you think this a parody or contemporary art, you're safe. But if a judge or a jury made of puritan suburban trash disagree with you, you're skrewed.

I should keep the blog a bit more alive, but other than depression, I don't have much to talk about. And I don't want Miss Dynamite to be a daily depression blog. I took Ratzi to the vet to be put to be euthanized last Friday. I feel kinda guilty about it because had I been in better shape I could have taken better care of him. But there wasn't much else to do.

On a more happy subject, I saw what might be the closest thing to what a Miss Dynamite movie could look like. Crank 2. Haven't seen the first one, don't think it matters. It's low budget, it's trash, it's vulgar, the story doesn't make any sense. But it's awesome. The trailer doesn't do this film much justice. It's like Desperado on crystal meth.

Sister Wulfia Focka April update

I'm not feeling any better but at least I guess not any worse. The good news for you guys is there will be a Sister Wulfia Focka update on Slipshine on the 24th.

As for a little personnal update. I thought maybe I had avoided a depression and had an anxiety disorder, but it's becoming apparent that I am indeed in depression as well. I think I'm in for a long ride. Right now I'm on the (paper) waiting line to see a specialist. More news when I have any.

Searching Colorist (flatter) for hire -THANKS

I'm looking for a colorist to do "flats" on around 16 pages. I'm paying 20$ a page. I'm not necessarily looking for a professional, but you need to have experience with Photoshop and coloration. You also need a computer able to run Photoshop with 600dpi color docs. "Paint bucket" painters need not apply, it's a job for the "lasso"!

Depression

I might as well just explain the recent lack of activity on the website. I haven't been feeling too well these past two weeks. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but it's probably a depression. I've seen a doctor to treat my lack of sleep. I'll probably need to see him again or another one to know exactly what I have and if I need treatment. In any case, I don't think it's too bad. I didn't wait to get all Howard Hughes before seeking help. Unfortunatly, this means no Sister Wulfia Focka update this month and I hate myself for that. But hey, that's one of the symptoms. :-p So

I'm resting for now. I'll post something if I have anything interesting to say, so this place doesn't die off.

Pink Rat

Don't call PeTA, it looks worse than it really is. Ratzi has an infection on his hind paws. My other rats never any problems but I guess Ratzi's feet are too sensitive to the metal bars flooring. He's not on antibiotics and I removed all the metal flooring. Everything is being taken care of. Anyway, I guess he's been licking his feet cuz an hour ago I noticed Ratzi's fur was pink! o_O

The cage was a bloody mess too.

No choice, gotta put Blackie's old cone on Ratzi's neck so he can't lick his feet.

You can't tell since he's not moving, but that's one mighty pissed rat. He's starting to cool off now and has stopped trying to remove the cone.

As well as his feet, Ratzi is also on antibiotics for recurrent respiratory problems. It's weird, Eli was the most healthy of the two (apparently) and he died first of a heart attack. I thought Ratzi would go first, since he's always sick, but he just won't die. He's the rat Highlander! e_e
