The League is both exclusive and inclusive. As an event exclusively for Mission Control volunteers, Allies and their guests, The League is not open to the general public. Attendees are always encouraged to dress as their most excellent selves. Are you a lady? A gentleman? A boi? All of the above? Palenque 2012 is an invitation, not an organization.

We have put an idea in motion and invited people to join us.
We selected a location and a date- the rest is up to you. It’s an experiment in self organizing celebration
We expect a hundred people will show up- maybe two. People are registering every day.

There will be performances, workshops, talks, rituals, music, dance, and storytelling, happening all day every day, but don’t expect to sit back and be entertained. We are coming together on equal footing, and your contribution is vital. Soon we will send out more information about the different ways you can participate. If you want to perform, teach, talk, guide, or lead then there will be an opportunity for that to happen.
