Vapour Production
The Revolution V2 e cigarette runs at 3.7-4.2v – the standard. However, The Revolution V2 has a 510 connection meaning it can be used with cartomizers, dual coil cartomizers, 510 atomizers in any resistance! Therefor you can pretty much customize it to suit your vaper needs perfectly

Throat Hit
As above, you can use this device with any 510 connection so it is very customizable. The dual coil cartomizer provide and excellent throat hit, but if you wanted something softer, you could easily change it to something lighter.

Battery Life
The Rev V2 has a built in 700mAh battery which can last up to 10 hours + you can also get 1400mAh batteries which would bump this unit up another star. The built in usb-passthrough also allows you to vape while you charge so you should never be left with an empty battery and nothing to vape on if your by a usb outlet!

Flavour
The built in 10ml Juice box feeds the atomizer beautifully. Again, the flavour depends on which atomzier you are using but because the V2 can uses a variety I have scored it highly!

Summary
The revolution V2 is a truly excellent device. I have been using it for about a week now and it hasn't failed me once. As said before, it was built with convenience in mind and boge have really nailed this! You get storage for a spare cartomizer, a 10ml juice feed, a built in passthrough, a big battery, an on/off switch and a beautiful exterior! For just £39.99 the revolution V2 is 100% worth a try!

Vapour Production
The DSE901 e cigarette produces great vapour. It is a true workhorse when it comes to consistancy. Certainly enough to keep you satisfied and although the DSE901 is one of the original and first e cigarettes on the market, it is still widely used by many vapers due to its durability and all round performance. It works wonder with your e liquid!

Throat Hit
The throat hit on the dse901 e cigarette is average. Not too mild, not too strong, a pretty good balance in my opinion, but if you want that harsh hit it does offer it but it is not the best on the market. A medium hitter.

Battery Life
The battery life is also pretty average on this device. Although it does last longer than many mini e cigarettes. A fresh of the charge batter should last you around 2 hours if you hit it hard. It is not the best for battery life but a PCC is a perfect solution

Atomizer Durability
The DSE901 e cigarette atomizers really are durable. They are known in the e cig world as a "work horse" becuase you can really give em a rough ride and they will still perform everytime.

Flavour
Flavour wise, the DSE901 really does get some nice flavour out of your e liquid. I would say it produces the best flavour when compared with other mini atomizers such as the 510.

Summary
The DSE901 has been around from almost the beginning, and it has lasted this long for a reason. In a phrase i would describe this as the Work Horse of e cigarettes. The DSE901 e cigrette has proved the test of time, and it has for a reason!

Here is a quick direct and honest review of the KR808D-1 Semi Disposable electronic cigarette. I have been vaping for over 2 years, have tried pretty much everything e cigarette under the sun.  Everything I say on my reviews come from experience.

Vapour Production
The Vapour production from the kr808d-1 e cigarette is average. You do get the odd cartomizer that gives you a huge mouthfull but on average you get decent but not vast amounts of vapour. The amount of vapour it creates is certainly satisfying enough and far from dismal. Oh, and the kr808d-1 can really hold a lot of e liquid. You can puff away on the same cartomizer for ages before you need to refill it!

Throat Hit
The throat hit you get from a KR808D-1 e cigarette is immense, by far the best you can get. Even with lower MG e liquids you still get a whopping hit. Nothing much else there is to say about it really.

Battery Life
The battery life is average, but a little better than the 510 and DSE901. The battery is slightly longer, and therefore lasts longer before each charge. I would say you can get a decent 2-3 hours out of it from a semi-heavy vape. However, you can also get a nifty little PCC   which is perfect for when you're on the go.

Atomizer Durability
These devices work exclusively with cartomizers, but can also be used with DSE901 atomizers. Cartomizers are great, you use em and when you feel they are losing their magic, just chuck em away. A Cartomizer usually lasts me a week and they're only 99p

Flavour
The great thing about cartomizers is they not only give excellent throat and decent vapour, they also give the most wonderful flavour. You haven't experienced the full flavour of the e liquid until you've tried a cartomizer!

Summary
I give the KR808D-1 4.5/5 stars because it really is a pleasent device to use. Flavour is great, throat hit is great, vapour is decent and best of all it lasts the longest before you have to refill. These devices are also perfect for beginners because they tend to be the least fiddly e cigs.

The Vapour production from the 510 e cigarette is pretty damn impressive. A new 510 atomizer can really kick out the vapour and i would say it was one of the biggest vapour producers out of them all. Plumes of vapour but drinks up your e liquid!

Throat Hit
The throat hit you get from a 510 e cigarette is also very good. I would say it is the best out of all the non-disposable atomizers out there.

Battery Life
The battery life is compensated for the amount of power that is consumed by the atomizer. A fully charged battery will last a heavy vaper around an hour or two. It is not the best for battery life but a PCC is a perfect solution

Atomizer Durability
So far, these atomizers have been pretty durable. I vape heavily and only see the vapour start dropping off after a month or two of usage.

Flavour
Flavour wise, the 510 e cig doesn't get the most taste our of the e liquid. It does produce an average flavour but it doesn't compare to some of the other devices.

Summary
The 510 e cigarette is a great introductory, or even everyday device. If you get yourself equipped with a PCC and a passthrough, this device is easily enough to keep you going. It lacks in flavour and battery life but if your a fan of plumes of vapour and a big throat hit, this device is for you.

E cigarettes are now being recognized by many celebrities.
 

Since the smoking ban many people picked up e cigarettes as a replacement to getting their nicotine fix in public places. Bars, pubs, nightclubs and restaurants are just a few places people are using their new e cig to get their nicotine where they were previously not allowed. They make look gimmicky but this doesn’t seem to be putting off some of the most famous people in the world.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Federline, Danny Bonaduce, Johnny Depp, Kevin Connolly, Tom Petty, American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest and former baseball star Jose Conseco are just a few that have been spotted puffing on their e cigarettes in public. Female celebrities Nikki Reed, Taryn Manning and Kate Moss are all puffing away on their e cigarettes too. So, do they just want something to smoke in public when they can’t use cigarettes? Or is it helping them in other ways?

Katherine Heigl’s opinion of E cigarettes

Celebrity Katherine Heigl, a proclaimed nicotine addict says “Now I use an electronic cigarette. I know it’s ridiculous, but it’s helping me not to actually smoke real cigarettes. I’ve been doing it for six months. Smoking sucks!”

She, like many others not only uses e cigarettes to beat the smoking band, but as an alternative to smoking tobacco.

So what’s next for E Cigarettes?

So, when will e cigarettes finally make it mainstream? When will we see them on the big screens? Even celebrities have jumped on the e cigarette band wagon but why does it seem they have not sky rocketed yet? Well, E cigarettes are not a certified NRT product, they have not yet been proven to help curb your nicotine addiction and there are no studies to show it actually helps kick the habit. Therefore, you are not allowed to advertise any health claims in regards to e cigarettes. Currently E cigarettes, e liquid and electronic cigarette refills are just a tobacco alternative and perhaps that is the status they should stay at.  Well anyway, I love my e cigarettes, and so do many others including tons of celebs. Ecig Draw Technique

The ecig is different to a normal cigarette because nothing is burning. There is no fire involved. The ecig uses what is known as an atomizer, basically a small heating coil that vaporizes the e liquid from the electronic cigarette refills or cartomizer. Because of this the draw technique is different to puffing on a normal cigarette.

To get the most satisfying draw from your ecig you have to puff slowly and consistently, unlike the sharp drags that are taken with a normal cig. This is because you need to give the atomizer some time to heat up (matter of seconds). This may take some practising but you will find yourself doing it naturally as the days go by. If you draw too slow on your ecig, the atomizer may get too hot because there is not enough cool air running through it, and if you drag too hard you might suck the e juice out before it even has a chance to get hot enough for a decent puff. I find a 5 second draw perfectly satisfying when using a standard cartomizer. Oh, and if you don’t already do this, I suggest puffing the vapour into your mouth and then inhaling it instead of going for a direct inhale. If you don’t know what I mean just pretend you’re sucking on a straw.

Ecig Dripping

Some people prefer dripping e liquid directly into their ecig atomizer. This is because they think it carries more flaovour and vapour. This can probably be explained by the e liquid directly hitting the atomizer instead of going through the wool in your ecig cartridge which can sometimes be a bit touch and go. Some people swear by this technique so maybe you should give it a go. The downside is of course you can only drop 3 drops at a time instead of a lot more when using a cartridge. If you are having troubles with both of these methods I suggest its time to try a cartomizer.

Ecig Apparatus

It is very wise to carry a couple of ecig spares on you at all times. This way you know you have a backup if anything goes wrong. I always carry a 5ml bottle of ecig liquid, a spare atomizer / cartomizer, a spare battery and a PCC. A PCC is a portable charging case and it is one of the handiest items in the ecig world. If you are wondering what it does, well, it does what it says on the tin. It is a pocket sized pack that you can carry around at all times which charges your ecig when you’re on the move. How to Make Your Own E Juice
 

Since 2006, Electronic Cigarettes have become a popular alternative to burnt tobacco. As the range of electronic cigarettes grew, so did the choice of e cig liquid you could choose. However, it seems some power vapers just aren’t satisfied by what the manufcatuers had to offer and have taken up a new hobby of creating their own devices and e juices.

What is in E Juice?

The base ingredients of e juice consist of water, propylene glycol (PG) or vegetable glycerine (VG), nicotine, flavourings, and other additives. The PG or VG makes up for around 70% of the e juice. It is also the ingredient which creates the visible vapour when heated.

What Ingredients Do You Need to Make E Juice?

The basic ingredients that you need to make your own e juice are:

1 – VG  or PG. This can be bought from many high street stores such as boots, but make sure you buy USP grade (ask at the counter if you are unsure of which one to pick)

NOTE: If you want to make E Juice with nicotine in it, I suggest you buy PG/VG unflavoured 54mg strength as well.

2 – E juice Flavouring: There are plenty of online retails selling e juice flavouring online, a simple google search should bring up a lot of choice. When buying your flavouring, please make extra care in making sure they are ok to use as e juice in your electronic cigarette.

3 – Distilled Water: This is used the thin out the e juice, make sure you don’t use tap water because it may contain unwanted additives.

Rule of Thumb E Juice Composition

E juice WITHOUT nicotine:
- 15% Water (Optional) – 15% Flavouring – 70% Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerine

E juice WITH nicotine:
- 10% Water (Optional)
- 10% Flavouring
- 60% Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerine
- 20% Commercial Nicotine Liquid

If you wanted to make an e juice with a concentration of 18mg and you had a base flavourless 54mg e juice the ratios would be as followed:

*Drops are an estimation. 20 drops of water from a dropper equals approximately 1ml.

However, this is just a guide. If you were using a different nicotine base or wanted a different nicotine content or were adding water you can use handy tools such as http://www.todmuller.com/ejuice/ejuice.php that will help to create your e juice ratios. Making e juice is just like cooking, you have to experiment in order to find that perfect flavour – so have fun!

Tobacco E Cig Liquid Reviews

RY04
First of all I am going to start off with my favourite tobacco e cig liquid – RY04. RY04 has a very distinct taste that defines it from any other tobacco based e liquid. The closest thing I can compare it to is honey caramel, but others say it tastes like blueberry or pancakes. It is not just a sweet flavour though, it has smokey undertones and it is a real nice vape. If you haven’t tried it already I would definitely recommended. Oh, and it also one of the most popular e cig liquids in the world!

M/bro / USAmix
This e cig liquid was created to replicate Marlborough cigarettes. It is a really nice flavour, slightly sweet, slightly nutty but noticeably less sweet than RY04. No e cig liquid replicates the exact taste of  a cigarette but this one does a pretty good job, however, it is not the best. I like it that way though – I never liked the taste of cigarettes anyway.

BH / Gold & Silver
BH, also known as gold and silver is an e cig liquid that is relatively new, but has taken over the electronic cigarette world by storm. It is not one of my favourites and I rarely use it myself because I like the sweeter vapes but if you want to find something that best replicates burning tobacco then I would go for this e cig liquid. It has a strong and smoky flavour and really hits the spot when you are craving a cancer stick!

555 / 3 & 5
555 or 3 & 5 is an e cig liquid based on state express cigarettes. This e cig liquid definitely has its own flavour, and you can tell as soon as you start puffing on it! It is sweet and smoky but what defines it from the rest is the distinct nutty flavour that fills your mouth with each puff. Some people say it tastes like popcorn – it certainly smells like it when you take a whiff. I enjoy this liquid a lot, from time to time i find myself really craving those nutty layers!

Hilton / Hillington
Now, this is an e cig liquid that is underrated, in my opinion anyway. I really love it. It is a sweet tobacco taste, but it feels fresh and clean in your mouth and leaves a nice after taste. I cannot compare it to anything I have tried before because it is a completely new experience taste wise. I guess your going to have to try it out for yourself to understand what I mean.

Electronic Cigarette & Side Effects

Headaches- If you are experiencing a painful headache you have most probably inhaled too much nicotine. You need to put your electronic cigarette down and drink lots of water. When you decide you are fit to vape again, please consider using a lower nicotine strength e cig liquid or just cutting down on the vaping sessions. If you do not think your headache is a result of your nicotine intake then this might be of interest – "Changing brain oxygen and chemical levels, added anxiety or tension, possible temporary sleep disruption, increased caffeine levels, or diet changes can all result in headaches.  According to the Ward "abstinence effects" study, 33% of smokers reported having headaches immediately PRIOR to quitting.  Interestingly, those reporting headaches peaked on day three (72 hours) at 44%, dropped to 17% on day seven, and had declined to a low of just 11% on day fourteen." taken from http://whyquit.com/whyquit/a_symptoms.html

Sore/Dry Throat or Nose- This may be related to Propylene Glycol (PG). PG is a humectant meaning it attracts moisture and could leave your throat feeling dry or sore. I had this problem every morning but after a few weeks it decided to go away and it never came back. It could just be your throat adjusting from your usual smoke to vapour. Try drinking a lot of water and if the problem becomes very painful please consult your GP for an PG allergy test. Alternative, you could try Vegetable Glycerine E liquid (VG) if the problem persists or if you find you are allergic to PG.

Muscle Aches – PG converts itself into lactic acid in the body. This is the most likely cause of muscle aches. Make sure to drink lots of water to flush the excess lactic acid out of your system.

Strong Smelling Urine – This is reported by some users but I have yet to have found an explanation.

Spots or Acne – This is something that is said to be a by-product of giving up smoking. When you stop smoking a lot of unpleasant toxins are free to escape your body and the face is a good escape route for them. Trapped toxins will cause acne or spots.

Coughing up Tar – This is also what happens when you stop smoking cigarettes. Your lungs begin to clean themselves!

Hiccups – If you keep getting the hiccups this is most likely to do with too much nicotine entering your body. Make sure you are not ingesting any drops of e juice from your cartridge and if e liquid is frequently entering your mouth please buy a new electronic cigarette! I would refrain from heavy vaping sessions with any sort of high strength e liquid and cut down my e liquid strength also.

Bleeding Gums – I have heard of a few people reporting bleeding gums when brushing their teeth. This is quite a common symptom of quitting smoking, apparently smokers have thicker gums. This should heal up after a week or so, but if it carries on please go and see a doctor because it could be something more serious.
