Kind of hectic around this time of the year for me; a short break has already begun due to lack of updates—it shouldn’t last much longer, but I can’t keep promises that well, as we all know. The contest is still in the works; hopefully nobody has bailed out yet!

I am so sorry about all the downtime that I had (hey, famous phrase, much?!). As I sit here blogging, thinking about my hectic schedule that I have to do this week, and the 23905835 clients I’m trying to balance, I’m aggravated with the fact that MisterUnscripted.com is hurting. That’s why with the newest launch coming soon (I know, I’m getting addicted to big layout changes), I am planning the biggest online contest by a graphics resource site/blog ever; well, in my own personal opinion. I have some pretty rockin’ people lined up to help out, and I’m so excited! Working on designs the content for it, and I bet it will be the best so far—especially from MisterUnscripted.com. Hopefully I can get some big names on the Internet in? We’ll have to wait, and see! I’m e-mailing like crazy with proposals being rewritten almost every other day! Here it comes…

Aside from that, I have been pretty good. I’m going to update a bunch of categories this week (celebrities, books, charity, movies, music, world events, tutorials, spotlight site, and more, so check back)! Also, I e-mailed the nominee for October’s Site of The Month, and I am hoping that I can get a response as soon as possible, because it needs to launch by Friday!

This month’s favourite monthly video is Fred Stalks Judy, created by Lucas Cruikshank who plays Fred. Fred is a six year old with anger management issues, who’s not supposed to be using his alcoholic mom’s video camera to post videos. In this episode, Fred takes his obsession with Judy, a six year old schoolmate of his, to the next level.

Animal Cruelty

Do not watch this video if you are easily disturbed, have a light stomach, or are easily nauseated (sp?).

This video shows very explicit images/video clips of animals going through cruelty to be served in our restaurants, and grocery stores as meat. This makes me question whether I should be a vegan, or not.

Will it change you? It would make a difference. One person at a time—that’s all it takes.

Sorry about the downtime. Due to a billing issue, my website wasn’t renewed properly, and that is why the host shut down the site. Everything is fine now, and I shouldn’t have any more problems. Thanks for staying loyal through hard times like this!

Downtime—one word, or two?

Anyways, the reason I have been so inactive over the past few days is very simply my hectic schedule. I have been working a lot, going to school, and doing homework/assignments, studying for a few tests, and doing work for clients. I am currently working out bugs for two clients: one woman who is a graphic designer looking for a portfolio, and the other, my school. I also have a third client I need to have a teleconference with, and two others I need to get in contact with as soon as possbile—scratch that: three.

On top of that, I have a charity meeting next week, and a huge charity event to attend in October, so I have been super busy putting that together, and preparing as well.

Plus, school needs me to do a bunch of posters to promote a brand new testing system that is coming in. I need to take stock photos of students, and then create presentation posters using Photoshop, etc. on them.

Then, on the site side of things, well, a stand still, because on top of all that which is amazing in my life, I have the worst cold ever. I mean, I’ve been sick before, but it has never been like this, I don’t think. My throat is sore, my head throbs, my voice is changed completely due to nasal blockage, and my whole head gains like twenty pounds, and I go into this weird dizzy/blackout effect every other day, or so. Bleh, I hate it, and I have to do all this, and surpass my cold—somehow.

I am going to focus on the site though for a bit more this week. I want to start—keyword: start—making some new content, expanding tutorials, etc. I always say this, but I promise it instantly. This time, not instantly, this plan is going to take a while, maybe months, but it will get done. I just need a few days of downtime, so that I can get straightened out, and feel better. Plus, I have to launch three new domains this week for various clients, so bleh.

On this day, seven years ago, two planes took flight, and crashed into the World Trade Center in New York City, New York, USA. Thousands were effected physically, emotionally, and death tolls rose by the day during the weeks to follow. MisterUnscripted.com remembers September 11, 2001, and sends its hopes to all effected in rebuilding their lives.

Oh, How I Hate Broswers

The thing I hate the absolute most is making a brand new relaunch, only to discover Firefox/Internet Explorer/Safari, or any other big name browser isn’t compatible with it. I unfortunately was not smart enough to try my relaunch in Firefox, due to complications I had with my browsers (Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome I am referring to), and I only was able to access Internet Explorer right before the launch, and therefore, my site has Firefox issues! No worries; I will fix these very soon!

Triple Threat: Britney Spears, The Big Winner

After a tumultuous year in which she was admitted to a psychiatric unit and lost custody of her children, Britney Spears has staged her greatest performance yet – appearing before the world looking healthy and composed.
The troubled pop singer dominated the 25^th MTV Video Music Awards in Hollywood, winning awards for all three categories in which she was nominated.

The ceremony’s host, comedian Russell Brand, declared the evening “the resurrection of Britney”. The 26-year-old took home awards for best video, best pop video, and best female, all for her single, Piece Of Me.

Her haul of statuettes was not the defining moment of the evening – that was reserved for her ability to endure the ceremony without incident or embarrassment.

Only a year ago at the same awards, a dishevelled Spears delivered a universally mocked performance, lip-synching out of time and forgetting her dance steps to her single, Gimme More.

That precipitated a tough time for the singer, which saw her shave her head for the paparazzi, find herself admitted to a hospital psychiatric award, and lose custody of her two sons.

Spears received a standing ovation from the crowd as her best-known song, Baby One More Time, blasted through the auditorium’s PA.

Her understated role at the ceremony, much hyped by MTV president, Van Toffler, as “fun and unexpected”, was little more than a personal appearance.

Delivering a 20-second long introduction to the evening’s opening song, her only performance of sorts came in a pre-recorded segment with actor, Jonah Hill.

When receiving her Moonman awards – the first MTV video music awards of her decade-long career, despite the fact she and the channel enjoying a mutually beneficial relationship – the star gave concise and humble speeches.

She thanked God “first and foremost for just blessing me like this,” before paying tribute to “my beautiful family, my two beautiful boys, for just inspiring me every day and my fans, this is for you. Thank you so much.”

Brand, hosting the event, said afterwards the show witnessed the “launch of a very new Britney Spears era.”

He added: “Consider this the resurrection of Britney Spears. If there was a female Christ, it’s Britney.”

Since her high-profile meltdown, a court in the United States awarded the singer’s father, Jamie, control of his daughter’s life.

In recent months, Spears has avoided the glare of the media, instead spending time with her parents, working with exercise and nutrition coaches, and planning a comeback album.
