The Wedding of Alexis & Vicktor | New Haven Lawn Club

What a difference a week makes! Just one week after Jen & Rob’s beachy, warm winter wedding, Alexis & Vicktor celebrated their wedding on a very different and very cold winter’s day at the New Haven Lawn Club. Still one of my favorite venues after six years of shooting there, this was my first time there near the holidays. And these two didn’t let the cold stop them from soaking up the gorgeous winter light, which was perfect for portraits. The cold weather and the holiday decorations made for a lovely atmosphere for Alexis and Vicktor’s day. Here are just a few favorites!

The Wedding of Jennifer & Rob | Water’s Edge Resort

Jennifer and Rob were married on a gorgeous early December day in Old Saybrook and they celebrated their wedding with a Christmas-chic reception at nearby Water’s Edge Resort. This was not a typical December wedding. For one, it was almost warm. I love the light and the sky in the wintertime and I was thrilled that we got a chance to shoot everything outside! This group was all about having a good time, and with a cigar bar and a Britney Spears song set, they did. Here are just a few of my MANY favorites from their day…enjoy!

The Wedding of Allison & Garry Paul | Dolce Norwalk

Allison & Garry Paul were married on a lovely fall day in late October at the Dolce in Norwalk. The setting was beautiful, the bridal party spirited, and everyone had a great time. I loved the small creative touches these two put on their day including the hand-drawn comic book favors, the robot cake top, and I can’t even speak about Garry’s amazing cufflinks. Here are just a few of my many favorites from their day.

Julie & Stephen married on what would have been a lovely Halloween weekend at the Publick House Historic Inn in Sturbridge, MA. The weather was beautiful and fall-like for half of the day, and a snowy mess the other half. I have always heard there was magic in the first snow of the year, and there was magic that day. Turner Family | Vintage Christmas Shoot

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting my good friend, Julie Turner (of Jewel Photography) and her family for Christmas. She styled her family’s wardrobe after her new favorite movie, Water for Elephants, and we used some outdoor space outside her Middletown studio.
