How to enable Status Bar in Firefox newer versions

After the overhaul of Firefox(from version 4) and in sync with the faster development cycle (à la Google Chrome) Mozilla guys has removed the status bar in Firefox 4 to make make way for more screen space and also to imitate Google Chrome. Lots of existing users may be wondering where the good ol’ Status Bar has gone.

The Status Bar removal may have affected the users who are heavy users of Firefox Extensions. To appease them, they have introduced a new feature called Add-on Bar.

To enable or disable the Add-on Bar, there are many ways:

1. Press Ctrl +/ (Ctrl and / together).
2. If you have enabled the Menu Bar, go to View > Toolbars > Add-on Bar
3. If you have not enabled the Menu Bar, click on the Firefox button(on the extreme Top Left) then go to Options > Add-on Bar

First of all here is the PR of my domain:

Good side:

The Pagerank update happened within a short-time frame of 10 months after registering mithunjj.com.

I have not done any link-building other than dropping my URL in some forums which I’m part of. Also, I’m not a regular and consistent blogger when compared to others.

I’m now associating PR with domain trust and authority and it’s not a sure-shot sign that your site will rank higher than others in search engine results page (SERP).

Bad Side:

My site is not ranking for my primary keyword mithun john jacob in Google all the time because of a small misconfiguration(stupidity) of WordPress and robots.txt from my side. Seems to be like that Google is slapping me everyday(but not always!).

P.S: I’ve made up my mind to blog regularly and update the site with quality content(loved by both the readers and search engines!).

A little bird was flying South for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground in a large field. While it was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on it. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of dung, it began to realize how warm it was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung and promptly dug him out and ate him!

Moral of the story: When you’re in deep shit, keep your mouth shut!

There were three tailors doing business on Tailor’s Street, in a far, far away city.

One of them, trying to get more customers to his shop, painted a big sign outside,
stating:

Here is the best tailor in town.

Clients crowded to his door for the next two weeks. Seeing that, the second tailor
down the street, painted another sign himself, stating:

Here is the best tailor in the world!

So, for the next two weeks, all the clients moved from the first shop to his, making
him busy and happy…

Seeing all his neighbors drifting from one of his competitors to the other, the third
tailor wrote his own sign, getting all the customers only to himself further on:

Here is the best tailor on this street!

Moral of the story: You should be having self awareness (about your business) and also think local first!
