The Indiana voters came out to hear Sanders, who is the current chair of the Senate Budget Committee -- and essential lobbyist/ legislative author of budget reconciliation bills aimed at providing #infrastructure necessary to save the planet from climate change, and #WeThePeople from decades of policy and laws that protect only the 1% global investments' crowd, while providing zero to very inadequate representation to the working and middle classes.

#BernieSanders is the most courageous politician in the US. I worked his campaign in 2016. Have you any idea the courage it took to take on the Established Corporate Democratic Machine Candidate Hillary Clinton?

He seems to have a good working relationship with (D) President Joe Biden, who is pushing a progressive agenda. Thinking back to the 2016 campaign, main stream media is no longer calling his platform lift-wing extremism. The majority of voters agreed with Bernie then and now when it comes to #FightFor15 (minimum wage), #StopTPP -- another lousy trade agreement that would not have protected workers in the USA, and his views on expanding Medicare and making "Health Care a Right - not for some, but for everyone."

Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) is leading a mass-movement of voters aimed at "transforming our country and creating a government based on the principles of economic, social, racial and environmental justice." It is a lifelong fight by and for the workers and people of the USA against a growing takeover by Corporations and their investors.

Sanders captured 43% of the vote in the Democratic Party primary election in 2016, in spite of voter suppression that did not give independents a vote in the primary elections in many states -- and other roadblocks, such as requiring voters to declare a party affiliation six months to a year before being allowed to vote in a primary in some states.

The message was clear in 2016, when 75% of all Democratic-voters under age 50 were #NeverHillary and preferred Bernie Sanders. They were joined by voters of every age group and background, and came together as the largest group of grassroots donors in history. Sanders has more than 1.2 million online donors going into this election.

Why Bernie? Because Bernie Sanders has dedicated more than 40 years of his life to fighting for the people on issues of civil rights, affordable education, higher wages, and the ability of the people to have a say in government that has been taken over by an Oligarchy of the richest individuals and multinational corporations. He runs as a Democrat in the primary elections because the two-party system in this country makes it impossible to get into state and national debates, and get on election ballots without party-affiliation, which is not fair to the candidates or the majority of voters. The largest block of voters in this country now identify as INDEPENDENTS!

There Is No "Fix" For Obamacare: We Need Medicare For All

Americans are waking up to the fact that there is no "fix" for Obamacare because, in the end, every legislative plan that is based on paying tens of billions of dollars directly to insurance corporations in the form of subsidies is not "helping" the people of the USA.

The taxpayer basically picks up the bill for everyone's end-of-life care, after the corporations drive 600,000 people a year into medical bankruptcy. Look at the statistics: 4/5 people in nursing homes are charity cases, paid for by Medicaid after they no longer have any money for "health care insurance."

Canada and the UK are not "socialist" countries, but they do have national health care systems in place that negotiate the prices of prescription drugs and medical procedures, instead of putting their citizens at the mercy of greed-motivated corporations every time they become sick or injured.

We will not become a "socialist" nation by organizing and implementing a single-payer health care system in the USA -- 130 million Americans already benefit from some form of federal medical program:Medicare, Medicaid or Healthy Children. We simply need to expand who can sign up for Medicare and be finished with these blood-sucking health insurance corporations.

Medicare has 9% administrative costs. The insurance industry spends a minimum of 20% of everyone's premium on administrative costs. Before "Obamacare" this administration fee often topped 40%. Now there is a formula in place that requires the insurance corporations to pay out at least 80% of the premium cost to health care providers, or else share a portion of the excessive admin costs back to their customers in the form of small refund checks.

These companies do not add anything to the quality of our health care. They only take away money that should be paid out to actual medical providers. Their money goes to $100 million a year CEO's, political campaign donations / aka bribery, and of course massive TV, magazine, internet and radio advertising.

What a waste of our "health care" dollars! This is a big reason why Americans pay 50% higher health care costs compared to other top-40 nations on everything from prescription drugs to hospital stays. The fact that the federal government directly pays subsidies to big pharma corporations is not helping the people of the USA -- in fact there is a lot of harm being done. We are a very over-medicated country.

And everything in this country that involves any form of "health care" is all wrapped up in paperwork, aimed at denying claims to boost investment profits, and aimed at cancelling non-profitable policies so the federal government programs will step in and pay for costly end-of-life care for all of us, except the billionaires.

The major TV networks count on this massive advertising. But the people, powered by the Internet are spreading the word and people all across the USA are warming up to the idea introduced by Senator Bernie Sanders: Improving and expanding Medicare for everyone.

Trump's Approval Rating Higher Than GOP and DEMs

Sept. 25, 2017 -- The American people in the latest ABC News/Washington Post Poll gave higher marks of approval to President Donald Trump, compared to members of the US Congress -- both Democrats and Republicans scored lower approval ratings.

The GOP scored the lowest ratings: a mere 22% of voters polled said they think the Republicans are doing a good job, compared to 35% of the Democrats. President Trump scored a 39% approval rating. The majority of people polled disapprove of what Trump, and both parties are doing.

In a separate breakout, ABC reported that Rep. Paul Ryan has a higher approval rating than other Republicans in congress, as US House majority leader.

Majority of Americans Favor Single-Payer Healthcare

For-profit health care is a sick and twisted reality that puts sick and injured people and their loved ones at the mercy of mega-corporate profiteers. Our communities all across the USA are suffering from this managed-illness-for-profit system that forces more than 600,000 people into bankruptcy every year. They are then eligible for Medicaid, which currently pay for the care of 4/5 (80%) of the patients in nursing homes.

Private companies are gambling with our loved ones' lives and legally bribing elected officials so they can continue sucking up individuals' money, as well as massive subsidy money paid by the US Government.

It's time to end this morally bankrupt practice. For-profit healthcare adds zero to actual quality healthcare -- in fact it's the enemy of quality health care because it's managed to make profit by denying claims and cancelling non-profitable policies aka dumping long-term sick and injured people so the US taxpayer can pick up the bill for end-of-life care.

The private insurance industry is all about making record profits. We are not a simple profit margin you can collect on like in a store, we are not "for sale". we are human beings, we all have families we are connected to. Which is why we need to move to an expanded and improved single payer medicare for all system. Where everyone wins and no one is left behind. We don't kick our families out we kick the rotten middle man out who is extorting us, the insurance companies, and the big pharmaceutical companies, who have bullied us into the ground. They've corrupted elected officials to the point where they can't do their jobs. It's time to do away with red tape that prevents us from having better health care.

The majority of Americans want single-payer health care. Although no Republican lawmakers currently support HR676, introduced by (D) Rep. Every 20 years, Florida convenes the Constitution Revision Commission. It’s a group of 37 political appointees that have the power to put constitutional amendments before the voters in 2018. Coming on the heels of the most destructive and divisive presidential campaigns ever, it’s a welcome opportunity for Floridians to demand the commission help fix our broken elections.

Despite very little notice of the commission hearings, Floridians are packing rooms to speak their minds. In fact, the commission had to move several meetings to larger rooms to accommodate the large crowds.

One of the key topics cited by dozens of speakers: getting rid of the horrible closed primary system that locks out over a quarter of our registered voters and forces politicians to cater to a small fraction of the electorate during the primary, where the majority of races are actually decided. These primary voters are often the most ideologically extreme in both major parties.

A closed primary suppresses the vote of people, who do not like political party-politics. Independent voters want to vote for the person, not the political machine behind the politician. They want the candidate to be beholding to "we the people" not the Democrats or Republicans, and the often politically corrupting party system.

Now more than ever, Florida needs to shift to open primary elections in order to accommodate the rapidly growing number of independent voters that are now a larger group of voters nationally than the Democrats or Republicans: 39% of all voters now identify themselves as "independent" rather than affiliated with one of the two major political parties, according to a 2014 analysis by the Pew Research Center, compared to 32% Democrats and 23% Republicans.

Millennial (18 to 33-year-old) voters are 48% Independents vs 28% Democrats or 18% Republicans. This growing number is especially true in Colorado, Arizona and Florida. Unfortunately, because Florida has CLOSED primary elections, it is also true that potential voters are being punished for not joining a political party at least 30 days before every primary election.

15 years ago, Donald J. Trump said the USA should join the rest of the world that has universal health care, a system that everyone pays into that covers everyone in the country. It's the only way we will ever have real health care that invests in prevention, early detection of illness and cures.

Independent Senator Bernie Sanders campaigned for "single-payer" health care in the Democratic primary elections and Hillary Clinton fought him on the idea of allowing people to sign up for Medicare/ Medicaid at earlier ages.

This week, Senator Sanders re-introduced HR 676 -- a bill that would save money, allow the federal government to negotiate prices, and finally provide real health care for everyone. The legislation comes in the wake of the Republican Party's failed attempt to approve a bill to repeal and replace "Obamacare." And it has the support of some Democrats and Republicans.

The USA is the only government that puts the health and well-being of it's people at the mercy of insurance corporations that function as an illness-management-for-profit system that relies heavily on paperwork to deny claims, and cancel policies when people become seriously sick or injured.

We are not even in the top 25 nations of the world for health care due to the high costs, the tens of millions of people still without health care and the millions more faced with skyrocketing "insurance premiums" and high deductibles.

We are the only nation, where 600,000 people file for bankruptcy every year due to unpaid medical bills, forcing them to lose most of what they have worked for all of their lives. The majority of these folks had health care insurance when they got sick but their end-of-life costs will be paid for by US taxpayers, after they are forced into bankruptcy.

These insurance companies collect "premiums" for decades from people, but they offer little prevention and early detection medical assistance because they know most people will not be able to keep up their premiums when they become deathly ill or injured.

The US Government is the biggest single-payer of medical costs, but has little or no say about the costs that are skyrocketing in the USA.

The US Government (taxpayers) have no ability to negotiate drug prices... That lousy piece of law was part of the Bush administration's Plan D direct payment to big pharma drug corporations on behalf of the people.

Millions of Americans have seen their health insurance premiums go up as much as 60% even though wages have remained stagnate. Working people now qualify for the first time for food stamps because of what they pay out every month for family health insurance.

We need to gradually allow people at earlier ages to join Medicare via the "public option" that Obama wanted in the Affordable Care Act. But Surprise! He couldn't get enough votes from his own Democrats because of all the money flowing into the Democratic Party - DNC from federal health care lobbyists!

Looking Outside the Two-Party Boxes at Democratic Socialism vs Corporate Socialism

The people in the USA have allowed a form of Corporate Democracy to swallow up the needs and desires of ordinary people via not voting, and later finding it very difficult to identify a worthy political candidate.

In other words, the pay-to-play politicians are running the show on behalf of their uber-rich and global corporate lobbyist "donors." Money and power has gridlocked Washington DC, and is also evident in state governments, and even some county and city governments.

By definition, there are two forms of "Democracy" -- Social Democracy vs Corporate Democracy, and most democratic nations are a balanced mixture of both, and benefit from that balance.

Social Democracy has a strong focus on domestic spending to benefit the people -- like upgrading our 1950's railways, developing a passenger line alongside a freight line for better safety and the ability to have high-speed passenger rail.

The USA currently has a strong focus on Corporate Democracy, focused on trade agreements and corporate subsidies and defense of global corporate profiteering via endless oil wars and tax loopholes.

President-elect Trump, as well as Senator Bernie Sanders, ran on a platform of infrastructure investments to upgrade our railways, repair our bridges and runways, etc. The USA has been very neglectful of it's homefront. We are the only modern nation without high-speed passenger railways, for instance. They also both ran on a platform of bringing trillions of dollars back to the USA that has been offshored by corporations. They both strongly favor simplifying our tax structure to make sure that corporations pay a fair share of what it takes to run the country --- although they propose different paths to achieve that target. We should strongly encourage REAL PROGRESSIVES like Senator Sanders to look for ways to work with the Trump administration and Republican-led US Congress to get the work done that turns this country around in a positive way!

We Needed A Bernie Sanders Presidency, But Trump May Rebuild Our Infrastructure

Donald Trump's insurgency victory from the left of status-quo centrist Hillary Clinton blew up both national parties. After defeating 16 long-time Republicans earlier in the year, he continued to wage a war for working-class Americans that sounded much like Bernie Sanders' battle cry against income inequality, a lack of jobs' protection; a fight against the global free-trade agreements like NAFTA, and the "regime-change" foreign policies that plunge us into endless wars.

The pollsters and the corporate media got it all wrong, and the world woke up in shock on Wed. Nov. 9th..

Then there was the other headline on the New York Times, "The Populist Fury That May Damage Global Prosperity" aka the 1% at the top in the USA have gotten fantastically rich via global investments in cheap foreign labor manufacturing and the industrial defense complex -- and hopefully that is about to change -- because the 99% in America have not gotten rich. The 99% have watched millions of jobs be offshored and trillions of dollars be offshored in the name of profit and tax-avoidance!

The jobs went away in the name of "global prosperity," or in other words, to avoid paying American (once unionized) workers a decent wage .. and trillions of dollars have been offshored by US-based corporations that found convenient IRS loopholes that allowed them to establish Cayman Island home-offices (sometimes 10,000 with the same building address!)

It's estimated by looking at federal and state legislation that the "donations" paid to the big political parties and to individual politicians have a 200% to as much as a 2000% ROI -- return on investment -- via legislation that caters to the 1% while ignoring the real needs of the 99%.

No One in the USA Should Be OK With This: The Democrats represent the CEO's that now rake in 400 times the annual income of their average workers compared to CEO's in other countries that rake in earnings that are 11 times to 50 times the median income of their workers.

Nov. 2, 2016 -- If Donald Trump wins, Hillary Clinton deserves the blame because she knocked out Bernie Sanders through backstabbing and sabotage. Hillary Clinton represents the Washington DC status-quo that is hated by both Democrats and Republicans. That's why Senator Bernie Sanders was the best nominee to run against the other insurgent candidate, Donald Trump.

But the DNC would not stand for a grassroots "outsider" eager to lead a movement, first of all to get big-money out of elections.

So the Democrats fought off their own insurgent candidate from the inside --- working with the mainstream media to smear Sanders, broadcasting that he had little-to-no-chance to overcome "superdelegate" insiders and paid lobbyists etc, who had cast their vote for the status-quo candidate long before the first voter was allowed to vote in the primary. There are still pending lawsuits against the DNC and insider-political leaders.

Senator Sanders was ready to lead a political revolution to demand real changes to address health care costs, education costs, and the climate crisis. But the answer from the "establishment" Democrats was NO - They chose the endless federal lobbyist money, and went with backing the Fracking - Pipeline - Obamacare candidate.

Now the other insurgent candidate, who is a loud-mouthed reality TV host and billionaire real estate developer, is winning... because he is promising to get lobbyist money out of elections, and promising to stand against "free trade" agreements and promising to fix health care... and education and end "regime-change" warfare.

The Democratic Party will want to blame Bernie Sanders voters, who refused to vote for Hillary Clinton... They will want to blame Jill Stein and the Green Party for bothering to exist as a third-party alternative in the United States. Nationwide Class Action Lawsuit Moves Forward Against DNC

A national class-action election fraud lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee and (resigned) DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is moving forward, following an evidentiary hearing on Aug. 23rd in federal court in South Florida.

Sept. 21, 2016 - DNC attorneys want the class action lawsuit dismissed, claiming it's unfair to assume that all of Senator Sanders' supporters want to sue them. Similarly, the DNC is not disputing there was a fight waged from inside the DNC against Sanders. To the contrary, the DNC is claiming no liability to Sanders' supporters, who sacrificed to make 8 million small donations averaging $27 ..... because, the DNC reasons: Bernie Sanders' supporters were aware of the unfair fight being waged against them by the DNC when they donated to his campaign.

The suit includes six claims: Election fraud, negligent misrepresentation, deceptive conduct, failure of fiduciary duties by DNC officials, who acted as the right-arm of one candidate's campaign instead of remaining neutral, and negligence in failing to provide sufficient security of sensitive donor-base information. The suit also claims monetary damages, owed to Sanders' small-donor base that was forced to fight against the entire Democratic National Committee. The suit was filed by Beck & Lee Trial Lawyers - Jaren Beck, a Harvard graduate, and Elizabeth Lee Beck, a Yale graduate. After a lengthy legal battle in which the Democratic Party of Hawaii sought to have Hawaii’s open primary system declared null and void, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in our favor, rejecting the Democratic Party’s desire to exclude independent and unaffiliated voters from voting in elections they pay for. Almost $450 million dollars of taxpayer funds were spent on the presidential primaries this year -- close to $2 million dollars in the state of Hawaii alone.

This is a huge legal victory. And we are working to explore and engage new avenues through which to challenge the legality of closed primaries and counter efforts to close open primaries.

43% of all Americans -- including 50% of millennial voters -- now identify as independent. Had they succeeded in their legal challenge, the Democratic and Republican parties would have been able to use this decision as a weapon to close the primaries to them in the dozens of states that conduct some form of open election.

70% of Americans now support open primaries. The momentum is with us. We won’t stop fighting until all Americans are given an equal stake in our democratic process and allowed the right to vote for who they want.

Because voting is considered a "privilege" states are able to, for instance, require a DMV photo identification and then close all of the DMV offices within a 60 mile radius of poor and minority communities.

There is a strong move backwards in this country to remove millions of people from state poll records, especially via past-felony convictions. In 33 states there are new laws and in California, the vote was seriously suppressed by way of election "rules."

Especially in 2016, it became apparent that people with "no party preference" had no voice at all in the presidential elections via "election rules" imposed by states, and via the biased actions of insider-establishment Democrats partisanly in favor of Hillary Clinton and against Bernie Sanders as the presidential candidate.

Everyone needs to go and become election observers. There was massive purging of the ballot in areas around colleges and universities, and in areas like Brooklyn, that were obviously strongholds for Bernie Sanders voters... Exit polls were abandoned by mainstream media prior to California.

There are state election officials, who should be challenged and held accountable. For instance, whole boxes of uncounted ballots have been discovered in warehouses that lacked any security and were not counted.

The voting machines are a real issue. Private for-profit companies are handling our registration, database building and election results preparation. We can not even get INTERNATIONAL MONITORING of our USA elections because "they do not meet the minimum standards" set for fair elections.

These voting machines with predatory software that can not be audited are a serious issue. They have been banned in Germany and Ireland. The entire election was thrown out in Austria because of a lack of transparency, and a lack of voter observers.

‪#‎ElectionIntegrity‬ is the single-greatest issue we face as a democracy. Without election integrity, we are not a democracy... what is the point in voting if your vote does not count?

The Fight To Unseat Debbie Wasserman Schultz Continues

Green Party Candidates for President, Dr. Jill Stein and VP Ajamu Baraka with #FL23 Congressional Candidate, Stephanie Anderson, MSM who is running as an independent against (resigned DNC Chair - Hillary Clinton's right arm) Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the General Election on Nov. 8th 2016. The district includes Broward County and parts of Miami-Dade in South Florida.

On Aug. 17th, Stephanie Anderson talked about her decision to run as an independent, and why she endorsed Tim Canova in the Democratic Primary.

Many of the under-represented poor people living in Florida's district 23 are Latino's, registered with no-party-affiliation. They were unable to vote for Canova in the primary election, but they will be able to vote for Anderson in the general election.

Stephanie self-identifies as a "Bernie Sanders conservative" and community activist. She is an active volunteer with several South Florida charities providing pro bono grant writing, consulting and other business related services for them. As a victor over child sexual abuse, Stephanie concentrates her philanthropic activities on charities focusing on youth issues and speaks to parents and children about the signs of sexual abuse in children and how to escape the cycle. She also works with several animal rights charities.

Stephanie began serving her community as a pre-teen and has been recognized by two US sitting Presidents for outstanding community involvement and leadership. She met with Republican President Ronald Reagan, personally in the Oval Office his last year as Commander-in-Chief because of those activities.

Republican President George H. W. Bush awarded one of the first Volunteer Service Awards then called the 'Call To Service Award' to Stephanie Anderson for volunteering over 250 hours in one year while she was still in High School -- She actually volunteered over 1,000 hours while in high school.
