It's work like the "Last Score of 2009" you can choose your job..

If you choose the 1st job "Trick Target to Attend Meeting"

You'll have 20% chance to get a Rare Item or Valentine's Day Collection Item

The ratio of xp/en only 1,5 x , it's a small ratio. You have to wait 5 minutes to to collect your bonus, but you can reduce the timer with 1 Reward Point.

If you choose the 2nd job "Scout Out the Location"

You'll have 50% chance to get a Rare items.

The ratio for this job is 2x xp/energy,

You'll have to wait for 8 hours to collect your bonus or you can reduce it with your Reward Points.

If you choose the 3rd job "Procure Untracable Sub-Machine Guns"

You'll have 100% chance to get a Rare items.

The ratio for this job is 2,5x xp/energy, and you'll have to wait 24 hours to collect your bonus.

And if you can't wait you can get your bonus faster by using your reward points to reduce the job completition time.

Collection drops happen in jobs, fights (wins only) and the featured job.

The Shoot the Moon, Stolen Heart, and Heart Locket pieces are found randomly when doing any job.

The Box of Chocolates and Love Bear are found randomly when fighting.

The Heart Tattoo can only be received from doing the 5 minutes featured Job

Also you can ask your friends to send The Valentine from the Free Gift

The drops only last until the 16th, so make sure you complete the collection in time,

and you'll get a special items when you vault the collection..

It's a "Cupid's Arrow"

New York Properties Upgrade

Prepare your self for "the return of robbing"..

We have more cool updates coming your way on Mafia Wars! This time we're revamping the New York properties. We'll be introducing some changes to promote the return of robbing, so read on and check out the upgrades we're planning on making...

1) We'll have properties switched to Flash mode, so make sure you have the latest version (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/).

2) We'll be getting rid of 'undeveloped space'. The costs of undeveloped space will be folded into the costs of the updated properties. If you currently have any undeveloped properties, it’ll be sold off and you'll have your money returned to you.

3) Instead of owning 30 Mega Casinos, you will have 1 Mega Casino, but it will have been upgraded 30 times.

4) You won't be able to sell properties anymore, but you can continue to upgrade them. If you still haven't earned your "Cashing Out" achievement, do it soon!

5) All properties will have the same payout over time that they currently do, but some of the rates will change. They will take between 8 hours and 2 days to fill up. For example, say you currently owned 2 mega casinos. They produce $1,800,000 every 3 hours for you to collect. In the new system, you will now own a single level 2 Mega Casino, and it will produce $28,800,000 every 48 hours for you to collect.

6) You can only collect on your property once it is done producing. There will be progress bars and countdown timers letting you know how long it will be before you can collect on each property.

7) Properties will no longer "shut down". *Note: This only affects users who have started playing in the last few months.

8) People who have Rackets will be folded into the new system as well, but that change will take place a week or two after the launch of the new properties.

An important point we want to emphasize is that you will NOT be losing any money when we change the New York properties; it will all stay within the game. These upgrades are going hand-in-hand with the robbing feature that we'll be bringing back due to popular demand.

The Bangkok Beta is now unlocked...!!!

Kalau kamu sudah mengumpulkan 3 hidden item di NY jobs dan sudah level 18 ke atas,
kamu bisa mendapatkan passport untuk terbang ke Bangkok
dan mengembangkan kerajaan mafia kamu di Thailan..!!!

Tapi ternyata tidak gratis..

Ada 3 cara untuk mendapatkan passport tersebut..

Open your MW home page and read on the Games news...

By clicking the "Bangkok preview page" you will drive to the Bangkok preview page like this

Click "Get your pasport" you'll be given 3 option :

If you want free, chose "see the clerk" if you're lucky then you'll get your passport.

But if you aren't you must wait for another 17 hrs.

Or you can ask your friends...

If your friends still have an unuse pasport, then you can take your gear go to Bangkok..

If you they don't you'll to wait..

This the short cut : "Bribe an official"

You can buy the passport with 30 Reward Points..

If you buy the passport, you get 3 extra passport to give out to your friends...

I chose the 3rd way by an accident.... :(

But it's okey, I have 3 extra passport now... who want it..???

Bangkok is on the way.... !!!!

Bersiap siaplah, Bangkok akan segera release....

Tetapi untuk tahap awal hanya pemain yang memiliki akun MW Beta yang dapat menikmatinya minggu ini..

Saya sempat memiliki akun MW Beta, namun tampaknya sampai post ini dibuat, saya belum dapat mengaksesnya.. "masih dalam perawatan" katanya... mudah-mudahan besok atau lusa dapat kita buka.

Sambil menunggu, kita bersiap-siap dulu, salah satunya dengan membeli "Royal White Elephant" dan "Bangkok Crates"

Saya bersedia membeli Royal Elephant dengan 25 GF points karena stat nya lumayan, Gajah putih ini termasuk dalam kelompok Vehicles dengan defence sebesar 48 (sama dengan Tiger Tank dan lebih besar dari Konstantine Cargo Carrier)

Kemudian Kita coba buka "Bangkok Crates" ada 2 crates yang terbilang murah dibanding dengan crate-crate yang lain. Yang pertama 1 crate dengan harga 12 GF pts dan 3 crates dengan harga 35 GF pts, secara matematika jelas lebih untung jika kita membeli 3 crates sekaligus...
Dan ketika di buka, ini lah isinya :

Whala... saya mendapat keris, pistol yin yang dan ular cobra... (hanya dapat 1 yang bagus... lumayanlah).. tetapi karena saya belum pernah membeli crates sebelumnya maka saya mendapatkan "Treasure Hunter" Achievement dengan hanya 35 GF pts (biasanya 55 GF pts)... jadi yah gak rugi rugi amat lah.... ^_^

Kalau kamu belum dapet "Treasure Hunter" Achievement cobain deh karena siapa tahu kamu bakal dapet Loot-loot yang lebih keren dari saya, ini loot-loot yang bisa kamu peroleh dari "Bangkok Crates" :

Yo.. yo.. yo.. ini ada bookmarklet baru.... yang di kembangkan oleh F.Moraes dengan beberapa fitur tambahan spockholm, dimana dengan bookmarklet ini kita dapat mengumpulkan dan melakukan semua yang ada di wall post mafia family kita. Termasuk job helper, bosses job, achievement, bonuses, launderings, loots, stashes, dan wars.

Cari "STREAM HELPER BETA" drag and drop di browser kamu.

Cara menggunakannya :
1. Pertama kali kita akan di minta untuk menjalankan di unfamed MW page.
Setelah klik "ok" jalankan lagi Stream helper.
Maka akan keluar halaman ini :

2. Centang "ask for permission to read facebook stream" (ini hanya akan di lakukan 1 kali pada setiap akun)
setelah jendela pop up muncul klik "allow acces"

3. Jalankan lagi stream helper, maka akan muncul kembali halaman ini, dan klik "quicktik"

(direkomendasikan kamu tidak merubah value2 yg ada di sana sampai kita terbiasa menggunakannya)

4. Lalu klik "scan" dan akan muncul halaman ini :

Wow ada 1098 wall post yang menarik (jumlah tergantung dengan banyaknya mafia family kamu).

5. Untuk pertama kali gunakan/klik "next link" beberapa kali untuk memastikan ini bisa berjalan, setelah itu baru tekan tombol play (dikanan atas) dengan penuh perasaan maka hasil nya :

lihat di sebelah kanan ada scroll, karena banyaknya yang saya dapat (dan pada saat di screenshoot, prosesnya masih berjalan)

Gimana asik kan..??? Terimakasih untuk Mr. F.Moraes dan Spockholm yang telah menciptakan bookmarklet berharga ini, semoga zynga tidak menyalahkan kita menggunakan fitur ini, karena menurut saya ini bukan cheat tapi hanya mempermudah pekerjaan kita. Yo.. yo.. yo.. Mafia Fella, check this out,sepertinya zynga ingin menebus dosa-dosanya..

Mereka akan mengadakan event baru dengan nama "MAFIA WARS HOLIDAY WEEK" yang akan di mulai pada hari Jumat, 18 Desember jam 12:01am PT sampai 24 Desember jam 11:59pm PT. (Hari Jumat18 Desember jam 03.01PM wib s.d Kamis 24 Desember 02:59AM wib)

Selama minggu ini, akan ada pekerjaan yang berjudul "Bring the Family Together" dimana kita akan mendapakan hadiah special holiday item untuk setiap stage dari pekerjaan tersebut, dan akan mendapatkan mastery item jika kita menyelesaikan semua stage pekerjaan.

Mereka juga memperkenalkan "Gift Safe House", lokasi rahasia kita untuk mendapakan "mystery gift boxes " yang berisi free limited edition items. Dan Beberapa gift boxes akan berisi ticket untuk memenangkan Xbox 360 atau exclusive Mafia Wars jacket! Hanya dengan meminta mafia kamu untuk mengisi safe house kamu dengan gifts, apabila mafia kamu benar-benar setia sama kamu, mereka pasti akan membantu . Siapa tahu ada sesuatu di dalamnya untuk mereka juga!

Terakhir, jika itu semua masih belum cukup, mulai Selasa 22 December jam 12:01am PT sampai Senin 28 December jam 11:59pm PT, zynga juga akan mengadakan "Holiday Blowout" Sale sama seperti "Black Friday sale", dimana kita dapat membeli limited edition loot, boosts, and consumables.

Well.. mari berharap semua yang direncanakan dapat berjalan sengan baik... without any BUG's.. Bad Glitches.. loosing a number of mafia... white screen error... ect.. so just GET READY...

dan mendapatkan kacamata-nya John Dillinger ...

Ternyata kaca mata ini masuk dalam kategori armour dengan statistik kekuatan yang rata-rata :

hanya 23 att dan 34 def, tidak lebih baik dari Locket of Billie...

Ini jauh dibahwah harapan saya :(

Tetapi mungkin berguna bagi para pemain pemula, dan Xp rasionya 2x... lumayanlah..

Sama seperti Moscow, Untuk sukses di Bangkok kita juga harus memilih antara 2 faksi yang saling bertikai, yaitu Yakuza Jepang atau Triad China. Dua faksi ini telah lama bersaing untuk memperebutkan wliyah kekuasaan kriminal di Thailand.
Ini bukan pilihan "harga mati" artinya kita masih bisa berpindah faksi, sama seperti di moscow. Tetapi menurut informasi yang kami terima, jika kita setia kepada salah satu pihak, maka kita akan mendapatkan akses lebih untuk mendapatkan loot-loot tambahan yang bagus. Namun kami belum mengetahui senjata2 ampuh apa yang di sediakan oleh masing2 faksi. Semoga zynga mau berbaik hati dengan memberikan loot-loot yang lebih bagus dari di moscow... semoga. Kami akan segera memberitahukan kepada anda, begitu kami mendapatkan info yang jelas mengenai hal ini.
