Pastou, who is currently in Miami, Florida training with American Top Team looks to take Katz to the distance to show case his talent of stand up and wrestling. South African fighter, Brendon Katz don’t plan on flying to the UK for a 15 min beat down, his looking to submit the Hulk within round 1 and fly back to Cape Town with melt round his waist, Either way this fight has the makings of an absolute war.<br />

Machado (4-0-0) was due to take on John Phillips in one of the two scheduled quarter-final bouts at Cage Warriors 45 at the HMV Forum in London tomorrow night.<br />

As a result of this late withdrawal, it hasn’t been possible for Cage Warriors to source a suitable replacement fighter so John Phillips will now progress to the semi-finals.<br />
<br />
Phillips will still attend tomorrow’s event and although the bout now won’t be going ahead, the Welshman will still receive his agreed purse.<br />
<br />
He’ll face the winner of the CWFC 45 meeting of Jack Mason and Chris Fields in the tournament semi-finals.<br />
<br />
Victor Cheng and Faycal Hucin, who were both victorious at CWFC Fight Night 3 in Beirut, Lebanon last weekend, will clash in the other semi-final.<br />

All of our contracts state that, if the UFC or <a href="http://www.facebook.com/StrikeforceUFC" target="_blank">Strikeforce </a>promotions want to book a fighter for their event, then they will be released from their contract and allowed to do so. Paul Daley was already contract to <a href="http://www.facebook.com/StrikeforceUFC" target="_blank">Strikeforce</a> and it was them allowing us to have him on our event.<br />
He was actually due to fight for <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cage-Rage-UK/168363716596288" target="_blank">Cage Rage UK</a> in December, but before we could release the information, Luke Sines had to withdraw with Bronchitis. So it was rescheduled for February.<br />
Both parties were looking forward to the scrap but then Strikeforce announced on Saturday night that Paul would be fighting Kazuo Misaki.<br />
Paul is still very much looking forward to fighting Sines at a later date. Sines, who is bitterly disappointed, is now asking for a replacement of the highest calibre.<br />
Taking the place of Semtex at UCMMA 26 which is just under 4 weeks away is K1 Veteran Peter Irving.<br />
Irving took John Maguire through a 3 round war at UCMMA 23 back in September but lost via decision. Irving who is best known for his stand up abilities took the fight with no hesitation.<br />
Both fighters have agreed to fight at 77KG now for the Welterweight K1 Title which Sines currently holds. This is a fight not to be missed as both fighters are looking to leave everything in the cage, UCMMA 26, February 4th.<br />

Unfortunately we don't have access at the UFC 141 show to follow Alistair like you're used from us backstage. We've come up with a pretty cool alternative but we need the fans help to make it work!<br />

We want to give you the opportunity to star in the "Brock Vs Overeem" episode of this season of The Overeem documentary! We want you to film yourself and your friends and family as you watch Alistair fight Brock Lesnar. Thai Fight is back as it presents its final installment of the year with Finals 2011 from Bangkok, Thailand live on December 18 exclusively on <a href="http://tinyurl.com/ThaiFight2011" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://tinyurl.com/ThaiFight2011</a>. The tournament finals are now set and Muay Thai fans around the world will get to see two five round championship matches along with several top contenders' matches as Thai Fight ends the year with a bang.<br />

<b>Buakaw Por. Pramuk</b> from Thailand faces <b>Frankie Giorgio</b> from Australia in the 154 lb tournament finale. Buakaw has been dubbed a "national treasure" of Thailand and is the heavy favorite going into the bout against Giorgi in front of his homeland of Thailand. This is a matchup of conflicting styles in this super welterweight battle as Buakaw is a precision striker, who darts in to land strikes and then moves to a safe distance before his opponent can launch his own attack, while Giorgio has been compared to the movie character, Rocky, for his ability to wade into punches and kicks and absorb a lot of punishment while dishing out his own. Giorgi will need a Rocky-type performance as Buakaw has not been beaten since his days where he dominated K-1 many years ago.<br />

Hard hitting MMA action returns to the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, New Jersey as Dead Serious MMA presents Dead Serious Two on December 17 live on <a href="http://tinyurl.com/d42q3fh">http://tinyurl.com/d42q3fh</a> Dead Serious MMA is planning to blow the roof off in Rahway by giving the fans a MEGA 23-bout card and a tri-main event with three titles on the line.<br />

In the main event, Dead Serious MMA Featherweight Champion RJ Starace (3-3) fights Daniel Carbonel (5-6). Starace won the title at the inaugural DSMMA event in October with a unanimous victory in a bout that was a barnburner. The champ is back and ready for his first title defense as he looks to keep his career moving in the right direction. For Carbonel, three of his five wins have come via submission, so don't be surprised if Carbonel looks for a takedown early in Round 1. Carbonel is on a two-fight win streak and looks to make it three in a row and take home the Dead Serious 145 lb title in the process. The featherweight division is one of the sport's most exciting divisions, so don't blink during the main event, because it will look like two Tasmanian Devils attacking one another.<br />

In another tri-main event, Stephen Regman (5-2) fresh of a victory at Dead Serious One and the reigning Welterweight Champion will defend his title against Michael Sanders (4-1). Regman is known for his hand speed and power, but he also showed in his last fight that he has great cardio conditioning and enough in the tank to win a hard fought decision as well. For Sanders, he is coming off a submission victory in less than a minute for a championship in another organization, so expect him to want to pick up right where he left off and look to take Regman down to the mat and apply another quick submission.<br />

In the third title fight of the evening, Dead Serious Lightweight Champion Jonathan Pecyna (4-2) battles undefeated fighter Chris Sladky (2-0). Pecyna won the title by choke in spectacular fashion and is set to defend his title and end 2011 with a bang. All four of Pecyna's wins have come via stoppage (either KO or submission) and because of that, he is always a fan favorite. Sladky is coming into the bout with less experience, but still an impressive start to his budding MMA career. This bout should be full throttle for three rounds or however long it lasts.<br />

Dead Serious MMA, New Jersey’s fastest rising MMA promotion, returns to action on Saturday December 17 at the Rahway Rec Center located at 275 East Milton Avenue Rahway, New Jersey. Dead Serious MMA is a family owned and operated business, and they treat the fans and the fighters like part of the family.<br />

Dead Serious MMA began when Frankie Perez Jr. discovered the sport and started training.<br />
“We got into MMA by mistake, honestly,” Frankie explained. “When I was in high school we got some free [MMA] tickets and I saw the fights, loved them and thought this is what I want to do. I always played baseball and football, but I was the short guy or not good enough or whatever. But then I saw MMA and I loved it and a week later I started training.”<br />
<br />
Little did anyone know that Frankie’s new found love of the sport would be a turning point for the family. In fact, Frankie’s parents, Frankie Sr. and Lourdes, were skeptical at the beginning.<br />
<br />
“My parents didn’t know how take it first,” Frankie said. “They kind of just thought it was something that would start and then run out its time. But it kind of stuck with me and I went to my first tournament and took second. After that it was history. My dad started coming to practice and watching it and six months later he said ‘Why don’t we start up a clothing line, I think it will be pretty fun and interesting.’ So we started Dead Serious. Then we started getting involved with everything. We just wanted to be as big a part of the sport as possible.”<br />

Their involvement with MMA eventually came to promoting events themselves. Dead Serious MMA had its first show back in October, and despite the event being their first, the show ran very smoothly. Now the Perez family is gearing up for their second out this Saturday. And they’ve lined up some fighters from some great camps. Frankie Perez Sr. has been working on to get everything ready for Saturday night. His list of fight camps reads like a who’s who of MMA.<br />
<br />
“We’ve got fighters from Tiger Schulmann, Mike Messenzio’s Iron Horse, Renzo Gracie , lots of great schools,” he said. “Hoboken MMA, LA Bxong. We’ve got Kurt Pellegrino coming down, Nick Catone. A lot of guys.”<br />

MAX Tournament event! <br />
<br />
Also on the card will be an exciting main event Northeastern WKA title bout between NYC's Stoney "Catfish" Morales and Philadelphia's Osvaldo "June" Dominguez. <br />
<br />
In addition to the other exciting match ups on the card, 8 fighters from the Northeast (NYC, NJ, Philadelphia) will fight to become the last man standing in what is sure to be an exciting display of skill, heart, and determination. Take On has always done well to make its amateur fighters feel like absolute stars and rightfully so since it is the amateur fighters who eventually rise to become the future professional world champions of our great sport! <br />
<br />
The fighters that have been selected as part of this amateur tournament are Andrilo Suarez, Freddy Cheung, James Gregory, Mike Koufalis, Chris Liveri, Chris Springer, Mike Martinez, and Andre Miller. Unlike other 8-Man tournaments, the outcome of this tournament will not be decided on the same night. <br />
<br />
Take On Productions has decided to award the two finalists of the 8-Man tournament by announcing that their final bout of the "Rising Stars" tournament will take place at Take On Productions and MSG Sports' second venture at The Beacon Theater in Manhattan at "Battle at the Beacon 2" in January 2012!<br />
<br />
Details on the official date for "Battle at the Beacon 2" have yet to be confirmed but sources inside Take On have informed us that much like the historic first "Battle at the Beacon", this event will feature a handful of professional bouts. <br />
<br />
So far no matches have been confirmed but rumors are circulating that the event will feature a rematch between Philadelphia's Justin "The Purple People Eater" Greskiewicz and NYC's Omar Ahmed, as well as a match up between the always exciting Sean Hinds and Turan Hasanov. <br />
<br />
Also likely to make an appearance on the card will be NYC's own Jay Matias, hot off his incredibly impressive Atlantic City performance at "Battle at Bally's" in October. Our sources at Take On assure us that they have a few tricks up their sleeve for their second event at the Beacon Theater but they are being surprisingly tight lipped about it, so it should be very good. <br />

The exciting card is loaded with the top fighters on the East Coast and is headlined by 4 TOP MATCHES! CFFC has been on a rampage since its re-launch and MMA fans in the Tri-State area won't want to miss this stacked card.<br />
<br />
In the main event, CFFC Welterweight Champion, Chip "The Surgeon" Pollard (5-2) defends his title for the first time against UFC veteran Greg Soto (8-2). Pollard won the title last July in an upset against former champ Joey Rivera by TKO due to cuts. Things won't get any easier for the new champ as his first title defense is against Soto who just had a 3-fight stint in the UFC. Pollard got the nickname "The Surgeon" because of his pinpoint accuracy and he will need to be on-point with his strikes as Soto is grappling wizard so if things hit the mat, it will be to Soto's advantage.<br />
<br />
The CFFC Light Heavyweight co-main event will also be on the line as undefeated amateur Daniel Holmes will make his pro debut against Chris "The Finisher" Sydnor (1-5). Holmes was quite impressive during his amateur tenure, even winning a title. He looks to make a splash into the professional ranks as he is fighting for another title in his first pro bout. For Sydnor, he fought for and won earlier this year in CFFC by KO and that victory made quite an impression on the CFFC officials as they now matched him up in a title fight.<br />
<br />
Chris "The Story" Liguori (13-9) battles Don Carlo-Clauss (7-5) at the CFFC Lightweight level. Both fighters have fought at 170 lb their entire careers, so this will be an interesting fight to see if the added weight cut will have adverse effects on their performances. Earlier this year, Liguori had a hard fought, tough, split decision loss in a CFFC Welterweight Title, but came back strong in his next bout picking up a victory by KO. For Liguori, a win against Carlo-Clauss would close out a busy year with CFFC on a great note for the Ricardo Almeida student. Carlo-Clauss is coming off of a tough loss on the Strikeforce: Fedor VS Silva card and looks to put that past him and close out the year to be in line for the CFFC Lightweight Championship. Carlo-Clauss' biggest attribute is his cardio conditioning as he likes to grind out his opponents for decisions, so the extra weight cut down to 155 lb could be very instrumental into Carlo-Clauss' game plan going into the fight. Expect a "fight of the night" here as these two gladiators will come out guns blazing.<br />
<br />
Another top match-up is in the CFFC Featherweight division as undefeated fighters Steve Perez (2-0) fights Dan Cion (3-0) in what is sure to be a barnburner. Perez won both of his fights earlier this year inside the CFFC cage by submission and looks to make it number three against Cion. For Cion, who is also a CFFC veteran, he prefers to pressure his opponents for a whole fight, and where them down and winning by decision. It will be a clash of styles and game plans as these to 145 lb scrappers hook horns in the CFFC cage.<br />

Today(Friday 2nd of December 2011) at the press conference for <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cage-Rage-UK/168363716596288" target="_blank">Cage Rage UK 25</a> Dave O'Donnell announced that Paul Daley will take on Luke Sines in a UK-1 kick boxing bout at Cage Rage 26 on the 4th of February 2012 at the Troxy.</div>

The 15-bout card is the culmination of a lot of hard work as the hotly anticipated California State Mixed Martial Arts Finals are finally here. There's no telling what is going to happen in the 2011 EPIC Fighting finale featuring the richest talent-laden amateur tournament to hit California's mixed martial arts scene ever. Fighters from both Southern and Northern California will be competing in this impressive event where the stars of tomorrow will compete today.<br />

In one of the co-main events, Richard Parra (6-4) battles Francisco "Panchito" Castro (5-3) in a featherweight tussle. Parra trains at The Pit, world famous for being the home of former UFC Champion Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell. Parra utilizes the same style as Liddell as 5 of his 6 wins have come via KO or TKO. For Castro, who is riding a 4-fight win streak he prefers to grind out his opponents and break their will as 4 of his 5 victories have come via decision. Expect the clash of styles between these two warriors to make for an exciting fight as they try to take the next step in their MMA careers and become Champion of California. Nobody puts on high octane fights like the lighter weight athletes so assume Parra versus Castro will be in the running for "fight of the night".<br />

In another high profile match and a battle of undefeated fighters, Mike Flach (5-0) meets Lamar Reed (4-0) in a middleweight bout. Flach is a well-rounded fighter with victories coming via KO and submission. The Millennia MMA trained athlete will need everything in his arsenal to defeat Reed. For Reed, fighting out of Oakdale MMA's Last Stand Fight, he will look to utilize his wrestling advantage which he has successful used to shut down all of his previous opponents. Reed is a 2X All-American in college and placed at the Greco Nationals so expect him to look for a takedown early and often. Flach will have to be able to fight from his back which is something he is very capable of doing, so this fight should be a barnburner.<br />

All of the weight classes will be on the line including, flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight, cruiserweight and heavyweight. That's 9 divisions and titles that will be in the mix on Dec. 3 so don't miss this unique opportunity to see some of the sports brightest athletes compete in the deepest amateur tournament in California history.<br />

In the main event, for the WBC Super Lightweight International Challenge Title, Gabriel Varga takes on Justin "The Purple People Eater" Greskiewicz. This will be a rematch fight as the two fought previously and Varga defeated Greskiewicz by unanimous decision. Varga recently fought and won the WFK World Title in September under the K-1 banner against Dutch striker Roy Tan by third round knockout. Earlier in the year, Varga also won the WKN World Lightweight Title by defeating Frenchman Yohan Ha Van by unanimous decision. Greskiewicz recently won a rubber match against tough opponent Turan Hasanov by decision and followed that up with a victory in October against Eddie Martinez at Battle at Bally's. Expect "The Purple People Eater" to do his best James Brown impression and try to give Varga "The Big Payback" in this headlining bout. </div>

In the co-main event, James "B-52" Smith of New Jersey fights Ryan Murray out of Greg Nelson's Camp in Minnesota (the same camp where former UFC Heavyweight Champion and WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar trained).
