Siege of Orgrimmar Raid Playtest 3

This playtest will start at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Friday, May 22. It will be available through 8:00 a.m. PDT on Monday, May 25.
PTR vendors have been added and now offer Legendary cloaks and Timeless Coins. These vendors are located near the vendors who offer Heroic Siege Gear in each faction’s appropriate shrine.
- Many glyphs that have been previously unavailable prior to 5.5.4 are now available for testing on the Glyphataur NPC.
A teleportation NPC has also been added inside the Siege of Orgrimmar raid, and will teleport players to any boss of their choosing.
- While we have relative confidence in the teleportation functionality, teleporting to specific bosses directly in an unintended order may result in undiscovered issues with your raid. Our recommendation is to complete the raid in the original intended order.
During the PTR test, raids will reset daily, meaning that boss lockouts will reset daily instead of weekly. This is to facilitate attempting some bosses more frequently, if desired.

Raid Notes

Siegemaster Blackfuse may still crash. It doesn’t happen 100% of the time, but we’re aware of it and working on it.
- We haven’t been able to reproduce steps to cause it internally.
- It would be incredibly valuable for play-testers to generate more crash logs so we can better track down what’s causing it.
During Spoils of Pandaria, we’ve adjusted the tracking distance to better cover the whole encounter playspace.
- Please let us know if this helps with tracking!

Siege of Orgrimmar Bug Fixes

Immerseus

Swirl persists on players forever.
Swirl debuff may persist on the player after the Swirl cast ends.
The visual for Swirl may be in a different location than the actual damage location.
Warlock’s Demonic Gateway may disappear during encounter.

Fallen Protectors

Defiled Ground has no ground visual.
Noxious Poison debuff may persist on the player if the player barely touches area trigger.

Norushen

Quarantine Safety Measures does not kill players.
Expel Corruption does not work properly (does not display a projectile for players to intercept, and the boss doesn’t receive a buff if the players don’t intercept).

Sha of Pride

Lua error occurs when mousing over the Corruption extra resource bar.
Unstable Corruption is missing a visual.

Iron Juggernaut

Borer Drill can cause the client to lag.
Borer Drill never hits the target.
(Heroic) Mortar Barrage is not drawing a warning circle for impact.
(Heroic) Ricochet has a visual that is too large.

Kor’kron Dark Shaman

There is a Kor’kron Grunt in the arena that consistently evades.
Foul Stream is the wrong color.

General Nazgrim

Shockwave does not have a visual effect.

Malkorok

Malkorok can get “Stuck” performing Arcing Smash, preventing him from being tauntable and casting other spells.

Spoils of Pandaria

Tornadoes from Windstorm do not move.
Staff of Resonating Waters tidalwave appears behind the target.

Siegecrafter Blackfuse

Death from above has no visual effect for the landing zone.
Animations for Launch Sawblade and Electrostatic Charge look awkward.
Serrated Slash will only trigger once.

Paragons of the Klaxxi

Brewmaster Monks using Active mitigation abilities can still be hit with Injection.
Korven the Prime won’t cast Encase in Amber on other paragons at 50% health or lower.
(Heroic) Rapid Fire does not create projectiles.

Garrosh Hellscream

Crushing Fear has no ground effect or projectile, making it hard to dodge.

Siege of Orgrimmar Known Issues

Spoils of Pandaria

Soulstone is removed when players take too long on the fight and the timer expires.

Paragons of the Klaxxi

Fiery Edge can damage players who are not visibly on fire.

General Bug Fixes

Fishing pole items become invisible when equipped to the main hand.
Nameplates do not appear properly.

Celestial Dungeons

The Extra Action Button appears in the top left of the screen, instead of lower middle.
Hovering over the Celestial Power UI bar gives a LUA error.

User Interface

Opening the Pet Collections UI causes a LUA error.
Nameplates are using the modern WoW version instead of the Classic one.
Purchasing additional Transmog outfit slots causes a LUA error.

General Known Issues

We are tracking the following known issues, and we are working to address them.

Heirloom items levels don’t increase with character level, although the stats do increase.

Celestial Dungeons:

The previous bosses’ health will be displayed on the right under the minimap until you engage the next boss.

Timeless Isle

Censer of Eternal Agony and Fire-Watcher’s Oath turn players transparent instead of red.

Class & Combat

Hunter
- Aspect of the Iron Hawk appears on 2 slots after logout.

Deep in the fungal Valleys of Harandar, the fungarian sporecallers have been growing a new threat for The Grudge Pit. Shaded by towering mushrooms, Sporefall is the perfect site to empower their new creation.

In the next content update, we’re introducing a new single-boss raid located in Harandar. You’ll face the fungal giant Rotmire in Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties. Players can also undertake Mythic difficulty in flexible groups of 15-25 players.

Take on Rotmire to unlock a range of enticing rewards, including the Luminous Rotshroom housing decor item, Luminous Sporeglider mount, Sporefused gear, and more.

Call up your allies and prepare for the new challenge in Sporefall arriving with the launch of Midnight: Revelations. Full details can be found in our previously published overview.

The MDI Groups Stage Continues this Weekend

The Groups Stage is the month-long period during which the top 24 teams compete in weekly matches.

Each weekend, eight teams compete in a head-to-head speedrunning format in the hopes of securing one of the top two placements and qualifying further in the competition.

This weekend, from 22–24 May, Group C matches will be broadcast live on the official Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels starting at 18:00 BST each day.

Rotmire

The fungarians of Sporefall have nurtured a fungal giant to grow far beyond its natural growth cycle. Rotmire is a beast of brute strength whose spores can catalyze the growth of surrounding fungi, sprouting new dangers for the unwary.

Rewards

Take on Rotmire to unlock a range of enticing rewards, including the Luminous Rotshroom housing decor item, Luminous Sporeglider mount, Sporefused gear, and more.

Luminous Sporeglider Mount
“This sporeglider’s voracious appetite for luminescent spores has lent it an exquisite glow.”

This mount is earned by collecting 4 x Delicious Sporesnacks, which you can earn once per week, per account, by defeating Rotmire in Sporefall on any difficulty.

Sporefused Gear

Gear up with items infused with Rotmire’s fungal power, with an ilvl ranging from 259 on Raid Finder difficulty to 298 on Mythic difficulty.

Sporefused Armor Pieces: Rotmire’s loot includes two Sporefused armor pieces for every armor type.
Rotmire’s Sporeheart (Neck): Your healing has a chance to spawn protective toadstools that absorb damage for up to 12 sec. If destroyed, they burst, dealing Nature damage to nearby enemies.
Sporelord's Mycelial Insignia (Trinket): Your spells and abilities have a chance to nourish the mycelium, granting a random secondary stat and Leech for 12 sec.
Sporecaller’s Blooming Loop (Ring): Dealing Nature damage has a chance to inflict Rotbloom, dealing Nature damage over 15 sec. If the enemy is already afflicted by your Rotbloom, the effect is consumed to deal 120% of its remaining damage.

Whether adventurers are chasing armor upgrades or distinctive fungal-infused effects, Sporefused gear offers fresh rewards for every raid difficulty, with Rotmire’s corruption woven into every piece.

The buff from the Madcap Redcap toy lasts 20 minutes, has a 1-hour cooldown, and persists through death—perfect for keeping the fungal festivities going.

Luminous Rotshroom Housing Decor Item

Rotmire’s loot wouldn’t be complete without something to remember him by while you rest your weary bones after an intense battle. Light up your home with a bit of fungal fun by adding a Luminous Rotshroom to your abode.

Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred Decor Copies Now Available
With a hotfix pushed to the live realms, players who purchased Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred are now receiving the Sanctuary Chess Collection which unlocks multiple pieces of decor: Hatred's Wolfpelt Rug, Prime Evil's Chest and a complete collection of Sanctuary Chess.

Additional decor copies can now also be purchased for gold from Dennia Silvertongue in Silvermoon, Gabbi in Orgrimmar and Tuuran in Stormwind.

March on Quel'Danas Hall of Fame Now Full
Two hundred guilds have defeated Mythic L'ura, securing their spot on the March on Quel'Danas Hall of Fame and earning the achievement Hall of Fame: Midnight Falls along with the title Famed Slayer of the Dark Naaru.

With the Hall of Fame now filled, guilds have a final opportunity to secure these rewards before they become unobtainable. The Hall of Fame will remain open until the weekly resets in NA and EU, making this the last chance to earn the achievement and title.
