What is Dragonball?
Though we think it is needless to explain it, we will review for the preparation of movie release. It is created by Akira Toriyama, was serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984. Strong and cheerful boy Son Goku and his adventure story captivated the readers quickly.

Dragonball allways kept running on the top of the manga field. Unfortunately it ended its serialization in 1995. Its popularity is not only domestic but also other Asia, Europe and the United States, it is loved by people all over the world.

Florensia (also known as Flo) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It features a complex maritime adventure world populated with pirates and Skippers. Florensia includes flexible quests (Land and sea) placed across islands and nice graphics. The Game was developed and released by Studio NJ and NETTS in Japan, burda:ic plans to release a localized version in Europa this spring. burda:ic, a subsidiary of Hubert Burda Group obtained a world-wide license (except Asia and pacific) and plans introducing Florensia to a global market.

The game currently has four character classes that a player can choose from, where every class has its own abilities. The Pirate class will be released in the future, as well as second-level classes with a few new skills.

The 5 available classes in Florensia are^[1]:

Mercenary (Tank/melee damage class)

The primary melee class of the game, the Mercenary can take on the role of either an offensive character or a tank. The Mercenary prefers to use daggers and swords and wears heavy armor.

Saint (Healer/spell damage class)

The healing class, Saints are a support class with the addition of being able to use dark magic to deal damage. The Saint prefers to use kariads (magical crystals) and light armor.

Explorer (Ranged damage class)

The damage dealer class with high-ranged attacks and abilities to see hidden enemies and open treasures. Wears middle armor and uses rifles and dual-guns.

Noble (Spell damage class)

The magical damage class with ability to cause AoE damage. The Noble can wear light armor and uses rapier in addition to preferred kariads (magical crystals) which amplifies their magical attacks.

Now for the first time, gamers will be able to see this exclusive E3 demo in its entirety through the Guild Wars: Eye of the North guided E3 demo video. Gamers will see more of the new regions contained in the Guild Wars expansion, including the Eye of the North, Gunnar’s Hold and Rata Sum. WoW offering Free Character Transfers

Blizzard is offering qualifying players free character transfers for their World of Warcraft avatars.

Players on certain High population realms can transfer their characters to new or low population realms. The offer started yesterday and is available until Thursday, February 7 at 3:00 PM PST. If you’re interested check into it ASAP because once the transfer quota for each server is filled the offer will be closed for that server.

Blizzard :
We will be offering free character moves from selected high population realms to lower populated realms, assisting in population dispersal. The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available on Thursday, January 31 at 3:00 PM PST, and are scheduled to run until Thursday, February 7 at 3:00 PM PST.

In the event that a realm meets our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to that realm will be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. No characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.

The realms chosen consist of source realms with the highest sustained queues, and destination realms with the lowest population. Last month, a Virginia Tech student was found dead in the Target parking lot of the Christiansburg, Virginia store with a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. His name was Daniel Kim, a 21-year old senior at the university. Unfortunately, some individuals have already started making assumptions that somehow his death was related to and possibly caused by gaming.

After doing a little research, I discovered that gaming is actually the one thing in his life that gave him a chance to live. Daniel was an avid Warcraft player who had developed numerous friendships playing the game over the past couple of years. The only warning signs that he was on the edge came in the form of emails sent to the university from various WoW players who were concerned for his safety. Unfortunately, little action was taken from the warnings and as we all know, Daniel Kim is now dead.

This was an unfortunate and probably preventable tragedy. It’s also unfortunate that some people will try to blame games when gaming may have been the only positive thing going on in his life. Online multiplayer games have a social aspect that the media simply does not understand. You create bonds with people you have never seen in real life. When it’s the middle of the night and there’s no one to talk to in person, there’s always a gamer somewhere online who will talk. When things are heavy on my mind, I often fire up the Xbox 360 and play some “big team battle” with my Halo 3 friends. I’ve never met any of them in real life, but I consider them true friends. I think one of the major problems with the media right now is that they simply do not see the overall kindness and generosity most gamers have in their hearts. As gamers, we do talk a lot of smack, but that’s honestly part of the fun. In the end, I truly believe that most hard-core gamers are good people with kind natures.

To be honest, I can’t objectively tackle the subject of video games and Virginia Tech at the same time. I was enraged that people such as Jack Thompson blamed the April 16 massacre on gaming when I was there and I saw what happened. I lost a good friend that day and I suppose that makes me take these media attacks personally. When you see large collections of lifeless bodies lying in pools of blood, you just don’t think of what to blame. There are more important issues at hand. Perhaps the media is simply too far detached from the reality of life to understand these tragedies. It did not surprise me that some people are voicing their opinions that gaming was somehow behind this recent suicide in the Hokie community.

Daniel Kim was an avid World of Warcraft player. He didn’t leave much behind in life. The only clues come from the traces of information from his instant messenger and Warcraft files. He left a cell phone behind with many numbers in them, but no one really knows what happened. I’m sure he’ll be missed by his WoW comrades. It was great that some of his Warcraft friends made attempts to contact the university asking for someone to help him. I think this situation shows how video game communities often care about each other more than we realize. It’s just a shame no one followed up on the emails the way they should have.

Nintendo is surely printing money with Wii Fit. It’s going to sell shed loads, and it’s a very clever move by the company that’s managed to expand the games market by appealing to the lucrative mainstream crowd with similarly quirky titles on Wii and DS.

You can play a yoga game that had you stand balanced in a range of different positions, following the motions of an on-screen character, and it challenges you to hold these positions for a set amount of time while it records your balance data, from which it will give you a score.

This will probably be a high demand product for the super sized North American.

Game site Insert Credit directs our attention to Korean MMO Perfect KO, which has Street Fighter's Ken and Chun-Li as playable and customizable 3D characters. What's more, the game's developer Neowiz is open to including character licenses from other fighters as well! As Insert Credit explains, the game is a 6-or-less simultaneous fighter with 3-on-3 matches and a survival mode. Beta test kicks off December 6th, and Ken will be playable. Sony has FINALLY gone and updated their store and created an activation point where you can activate up to five PSPs to your account and can create subaccounts to actually buy different types of things. You have to charge your “virtual wallet” to actually buy anything, and I haven’t actually gotten around to trying the purchasing since I’m in the middle of a mission for Portable Ops Plus, but it’s definitely going to be tested and there will be hell to pay if it doesn’t work.

I have to say that I’ve been waiting for this online feature for a long time too. So far, from what I can tell, this could actually be Mac or PC based altogether since you just have to attach your USB cable to your system and click the activate button on your web browser.

The games are definitely not quite what I had in mind for PS1. Some good ones, but come on…. where’s the classics such as Parasite Eve? Come on Sony, you really can do better than that. The downloadable PSP games could also be a little cheaper, as well as the PS1 games. $14.99 for Wipeout Pure when I can buy a used media one for less? Come on. And PS1 for ten bucks? I’d rather buy a Wii Console game for that money.

All in all though, this is some pretty sweet news although there are a few caveats that I hope Sony irons out. Either way, empowering the players with more alternatives really makes it a good thing.

Final Fantasy XI: Accounts Banned Again

The official website of Final Fantasy XI reported the termination of multiple accounts held by players involved in the usage of third-party tools or cheats, or engaged in RMT (Real Money Trading) activities.

Based on the results of our investigation, around 4,400 PlayOnline accounts were terminated while around 1,210 accounts were temporarily suspended. Additionally, it has increased the number of mass bannings against certain PlayOnline violations in order to prevent illegal acts.

Usage of third-party tools will not be tolerated within FINAL FANTASY XI, and we will continue to severely penalize any players found to be in violation of the PlayOnline Member Agreement."

There are a remarkable number of choices available to massively multiplayer online gamers compared to a few years ago, but medieval fantasy continues to be the most popular setting. In these games you create a character, don a sword or a spellbook, and venture off into a persistent online world in search of experience points. An Internet connection is required and these games typically charge a monthly subscription fee. I rely a lot on user feedback as well as my personal experience when rating these games, so if you have an opinion on the subject, feel free to leave a comment.

	1. World of Warcraft View Full-Size Blizzard Entertainment muscled its way into the MMORPG market back in 2004 with this game based on their illustrious Warcraft strategy series. Although it does not rewrite the book on MMORPGs, exceptional artistry, nicely paced gameplay, a particularly engaging world, solid PvP, and a great interface have already made World of Warcraft a favorite among fans of this genre. It's easily the most refined and popular game of its kind with millions of players worldwide. The Battlechest version includes both the original game and the first expansion, The Burning Crusade.

	3. The Lord of the Rings Online View Full-SizeSet in the mythical world of J.R.R. Tolkien, Turbine has built a MMORPG around the famous story that in many ways defined the fantasy genre. The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar lets you experience the adventure as a Human, Hobbit, Dwarf, or an Elf, and is designed to bring you into contact with various members of the Fellowship along the way. PvP is offered through "monster play," which allows players to temporarily assume the role of monsters in an optional battleground. It's an impressive rendition of Middle-earth that has had extensive content updates since launch.
	4. Dark Age of Camelot A very well-established MMORPG set in the land of King Arthur. Player vs. player conflict is central to this game, as the map is divided into three realms which attempt to raid each others territory and capture relics. The 5th Anniversary Collection has all the expansions in one package, including the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, which went live in summer of 2006.
	5. Final Fantasy XI The award-winning Final Fantasy series has been adapted into this rapidly growing MMORPG. Three powerful nations try to protect the world of Vana'diel from the hostile beastmen. Note that FFXI is a significant departure from other Final Fantasy games, and it can be daunting for casual players. It's also the first MMO that allows PS2, Xbox 360, and PC users play in the same universe.
	6. Lineage II Like its predecessor, Lineage II focuses on battles with other players and large-scale siege warfare. This time it's fully 3D, with very impressive visuals powered by the Unreal graphics engine. Guilds challenge each other for control of the game's castles in scheduled PvP events. Like most Korean games, it uses a point-and-click movement system. The North American version has a number of features to lessen the level grind a little, which appears to be paying off.
	7. Vanguard: Saga of Heroes A huge seamless world, elaborate crafting, and a diplomacy system with which you can sway NPCs are among the features offered by Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. It's relatively demanding compared to many recent MMORPGs, both in terms of hardware requirements and time requirements, which isn't to everyone's liking. There is a considerable amount of depth to the game, and it's an ambitious project with a lot of potential.
	8. EverQuest EverQuest continues to hold a special place in the hearts of MMORPG fans, being the first 3D game of its kind to catch on in North America. It still has a very large player base, and likely has more content than any of its competitors. The game is set in a mythical realm full of all the usual halflings, ogres, healers, necromancers, and monsters, featuring a remarkable level of character and class specialization.
	9. Asheron's Call Formerly published by Microsoft, this classic MMORPG is back in the hands of Turbine, its developer. Although not nearly as graphically spectacular as its successor, which is no longer around, many fans prefer the gameplay of original. Rather than being bound by the usual class restrictions, you are free to develop whatever skills you choose. The allegiance system which allows players to form organizations is also unique to this series.
	10. Ultima Online Ultima Online was among the earliest graphical MMORPGs and, unlike most of the other games mentioned here, it uses a 2D engine similar to Diablo and Baldur's Gate. Released in 1997, Ultima Online still has a large following, and it continues to get regular updates. Another graphical revamp took place in 2007. The 9th Anniversary Edition includes all the content from 7 expansion packs as well as the game itself.

Microsoft Sells 310,000 Xbox 360s During Black Friday Week

Coming on the heels of Nintendo of America's announcement of its best North American sales week ever -- with 350,000 Wiis and 653,000 Nintendo DSes sold -- a CNBC report states that Microsoft has announced it sold 310,000 Xbox 360 systems during the same period, allegedly outselling the PlayStation 3 2:1.

Microsoft also maintains that it has the highest software sales of all three consoles and expects that trend to continue through to the end of the year, with software sales for 360 as much as PS3 and Wii's combined.

Despite Microsoft's insistence that the 360 outsold the PlayStation 3 2:1 during the shopping week, SCEA spokesperson Kimberly Otzman told SeattlePI.com that "Microsoft's estimates of our PS3 unit sales numbers are way off and they did not outsell PS3 2:1 during Black Friday week." She did not counter with figures, however, saying that Sony prefers to wait for the NPD Group's official counts, which will be released on December 13.

Sony did, however, release some statistics about the performance of all of its platforms during Black Friday earlier this week, noting a marked increase in sales of the PS3 as well as the PS2 and PSP.
