Are you poor? Well don't frown because it's not the end of the world.

Being a poor is not a crime or a sin to covet thy neighbour’s wife.
Being a poor is not a valid reason not to aim high for your dreams.

One of the hypocrite's theory in this world is 'I give up my hopes and dreams because I am a poor'. I don't believe in that! You are such a loser!

You may be born poor, poor in physical things, poor in spiritual aspect or intellectually poor, well don't linger on that. I do believe that everyone has their own mind to decide, to choose and to fulfil their dreams. I called it attitude!

Having a positive attitude is a good way to start your dream. Start with small yet possible dream to achieve.

Like an old friend who celebrated her birthday yesterday. All she wanted was to have a small gathering with her friends and family but she can't because of financial problem. Until one friend started an email announcement, made plans and volunteered to bring something. Then another friend, then another and so on, till we made a celebration at the park to fulfil our friend's small dream. We may be poor in financial matters but we are rich with friends.

It's not bad to have a dream. It's free and a big challenge for yourself. So plan well and make sure you will not destroy someone's lives just to achieve it.

I thought I had enough freaking news of you, but each day I got worst!

What a damn good actress! How can you live a life like that!

It's acceptable to envy your so-called friends and create uproar between them, but to your own bloody relative? How could you stomach that? Stealing the loved one or fabricated a dramatic story to your lover so that he will hate your family? Can you still sleep peacefully at night knowing that you destroy someone's family (not only one but two)?

You have pretended enough! You used me to gained new friends. They trusted you and yet you fooled them. When you will stop and change?

If you think that your secret will never come out, think again! You should start cleaning your own backyard, and please don't leave your feces, it's stinking in your doorstep!

Get a grip and clean it!

I will keep quiet for a while and wait for more evidence until the coast is clear. Soon, your skeleton in the closet will be out and I'm pretty sure that you wish you have never used me or met me!

Blog is my only companion where I can pour out my ghastly feelings right now. It has been years since my last post and I thought I will never return to blogging with angst. But I'm wrong!

I just wanted to share with you one of my stories here in the land of oil and sand.

I was duped and devastated when I confirmed my suspicion.....

A year ago, I met a lady through a common friend. I even recommended her to replace my job when I was transferred to another place.

We jive instantly and our friendship developed. I even introduced her to my mom and to the rest of my family. In short, I have treated her as a sister. She was welcome to my circle of friends and was all amaze how good she was.

Little did I know that an angel face was a devil in disguise.

Triple B, that’s me! That’s how she refers me to her lover.

A friend that I treasured and treated as a sister called me that! I was really devastated from all the lies that she invented against me towards her lover. I admit that I doubted her actions before, but I did not entertain the thoughts knowing that she is my friend. I even give her a chance to talk and to prove, on what I saw and witnessed before was wrong but she kept quiet. Until the bombshell was out!!!

I think triple B applies for her own agenda. Imagine this…

She uses my name as an excuse whenever she wanted to go out! - Bitch

What a life!

There are more shocking stories that need not to elaborate. All I can think of right now, my former friend is a true blue Madonna material girl in person.

Name it all, just imagine madonna’s video of material girl, she has all that.

A great pretender (trying to be clean and naïve) and user for the last 4 years to the old married guy for material things.

Right now, she doesn’t know that I already know her secrets. I must seal my lips and control my bitchy attitude till the situation is clear.

New Year, New kid on the block

It's been long since the last time I updated my blog. A lot of things happened! With the ongoing worldwide crisis, even the land of the oil is experiencing the turmoil.

Enough with the negative news, let's move on to the positive one.

First thing, my sister delivered a baby girl a month ago. We celebrated her first month old yesterday. It was just a family dinner. So sad that my sister left two weeks ago, she needs to go back home for her work. Mom still with us, and she's having a problem wearing her shoes. I bought her a new boots for protection from cold. It's her first time to experience the coldness in this place. I opted to use my running shoes, for comfort and protection, and we were having a problem for the baby, she's getting bigger every week and all dressess and shoes does not fit to her anymore. So I joke with my sister that next time I shop online, I will buy a wedding shoes for her baby.

Christening of Haya, our new baby, will be on March. As early as today, my sister asked me and other godparents for a bigger size of baby shoes . She is being wise on that.

Vacation Crisis

Eid Holidays is over, imagine 5 days of doing nothing but watching. Yeah right, I got hooked-up in the tv series again. House is interesting though I'm not in the medical field. I still found time to hang out with friends but I got itched to go back home to finish the 3 disc series.

Anyway, I'm currently on the third season and I still have time to finish over the weekend. For the meantime, I want to share some fireworks moment here.

Shopping malls is too crowded today because it’s the first day of Eid Al Adha. I couldn’t wait in the long cue for payment, so I decided not to purchase anything and headed to coffee shop. While sipping my cappuccino, I got an email from Tita Ann informing me something about the new offer of Blackhawk especially for this Holiday. It’s good thing that wifi works in this mall.

So I check this Gift Card Mall™ to ease my curiosity. I hesitate at first thinking that it was just another greeting cards. It’s not that I don’t like greetings cards, it’s so traditional. So when I checked on it, it’s really unique. Gift cards are a perfect gift to give this coming Christmas. It’s wise and trendy. You could even design your own card and most of all it is good for all season.

It’s getting cold here and Christmas is everywhere. Would you believe that malls started to decorate their shops for Christmas season here? Five years ago, Christmas is just an ordinary day but now even local people became aware of Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, I was really having trouble what kind of gift I will give to my friend. Every year, it was really a hard day for me to roam around the malls just to look for a perfect gift for him. This morning, I went to the mall to start my pre-Christmas shopping. Oh by the way, I’m enjoying my 5 days Eid Holiday. I took advantage of it to start my shopping.

It just so happen that I stumble on these 5.11 Tactical pants. It was cool, I even like it for myself. I checked it out and found out that I can even buy online. Wow that will be a big relief on my side. I’m more comfortable buying stuff online. I’m pretty sure he will love it. He likes military things although he’s not from military.

You know what I found out more? 5.11 Tactical have more brands, not just pants. I checked all their brands. They have shirts, shoes, bags, books, watches, eyewear, shorts, knives and pouches for mobile, guns, knives and more. They offer small size to larger ones pouches. What I love most is the 5.11 Tactical watches and the 5.11 Tactical eyewears. Oh my, I will forget my budget plan for now, I will start next year. If only my dad is still here, for sure he will like it also. He likes these things, we have the same taste. Anyhow, instead of buying for my friend only, now I have to include myself on this order.

Hey, it’s Christmas time, time to indulge yourself once in a while. Correct?

Private sector holiday on Tuesday to mark UAE National Day

The private sector will get a one-day holiday on Tuesday, December 2, on the occasion of 37th UAE National Day.

Although no Memo was circulated today in the office but it's automatic here in UAE, meaning no work tomorrow! hurayyy!

I started working here during their 32nd year anniversary and wow it's already their 37th year. How time flies by!

The government were preparing a big celebration for the national day. Dubai started today for their national parade while Abu Dhabi will have the largest and record breaking fireworks display tomorrow.

Hmmm, that will be good.

Congratulations to all Emirati.

I was inactive for some months. I thought I will not go back to blogging world but I do believe that once a blogger will always be a blogger, so I’m back.

Having a new work, a really new line of work, takes a lot of my time and energy. I thought I couldn’t make it but with the encouragement and push from my colleagues, I made it.

Funny but true, since I started working with my new work, 4 essential items are always present in my bag. My sunglasses, sun protection, after the sun care protection and first aid kits. Working at the site is really hard especially when it’s hot. Though it’s humid, I still wear sun protection and after the sun because I got burned during my first few weeks. You might be wondering why I include first aid kits, well I just want to be ready especially for pain relievers.

To my blogging friends, please forgive me for being out of action.

Back for Toys

It’s been three months since I hibernate in blogworld due to work load and I could not hide anymore especially for the coming month. Christmas is around the corner and for me this is the month for children. Though I don’t have any kids of my own, I have tons of nieces and nephews. My cousins, sisters and brothers started to remind about their kids gifts as well as for them. They always bug me every year for they knew that being single, I don’t spend too much. Yeah right, they have to think again. They even give me list about their gift ideas. Imagine that!

Anyway, I love my nephews and nieces so I started listing down their favorite toys like Nintendo Wii and Nintendo ds. My nieces have been reminding me about Nintendo ds for ages so I think this is the best time to give. I’m also thinking of buying some cheap toys as an extra gift incase some children knocks on my door.

Though life became a little bit hard here, I don’t want to disappoint my family. It’s Christmas, time for giving.

New residents of Dubai gain between 6 and 12 kilograms on average in their first year here, according to a fitness instructor at a local gym.

One thing i really notice here is the lifestyle. Diners and restaurants scattered around here and the food is cheap. People who are tired from 8-9 hours work tend to eat alot during the night. Some prefer to take out food rather than to cook their own meals.

This is for real. I myself experienced weight problem. I gained a lot during my first year here and it keeps going up and up and up till 75kg. Last year, I decided to take a diet pill and return to my jogging regimen. The diet pill i took makes me loose my appetite so I turned to fresh fruit juices. My jogging habits every night continue until I lose 15kg and it feels good to being light again. Now, I just maintain my food intake and continue my jogging.

London Bridge is Falling Down is very popular song amongst children. I used to sing this song with my cousins when I was a child. We even have some sort of action play with other children using this song. Like others, I’m dreaming of going to London, walk in the famous London Bridge and stay in one of their luxurious London Hotels even for one night only.

I’m dreaming of staying in Dublin Hotels and hopefully I could meet my blog friend there. Then I will fly to Czech Republic and experience to stay in Prague Hotels. Since I will be in Europe, I make sure I will make my travel to the fullest and make use of the visa.

These are all plans until now. I’m still keeping my fingers cross for all impending hindrances that might come in my plans. I’m just praying that it will all work out fine.

I just returned from my trip. Though it was only five days but still I was exhausted. Whenever I travel, I make sure I check the place where I go including the food. I’m not afraid to taste anything but once the food appeal to my taste buds, watch out for I will keep on coming back to that food.

So now I have some dilemma for I gained too much and I need the best diet pills to lose some unwanted pounds. I don’t have time now to go jogging because of the current weather here. Humidity will last till September so I need the best diet pills and I don’t want to waste my 2 months waiting to change the weather here.

Best diet pills are the only solution I’m thinking of and I knew best diet pills will help on my problem. I proved that already before.

The private sector in the UAE will get a one-day holiday on Thursday, July 31, to mark Isra Wal Meraj - Prophet Mohammad’s (PBUH) ascension to heaven - it was announced on Sunday.

Tomorrow is a public holiday, and friday and saturday are weekend here....yehey! that mean's long weekend here in UAE.

But according to newspapers, it will be hot and humid long weekend which the temperature will range from 41 to 43C for the next three days. Hmmm, it means we must stay indoor and live couch potato style again.

My lifestyles have change since I adopted this place. Back home, I was a sports addict that my mom had to beg for me to stay at least one weekend in our house and stop my sports activities for while. But when I landed here; work, eat and sleep were my passion for the first six months living here. So, because of having a couch potato lifestyle, I started gaining weight. I tried to re-engage myself with some exercises and jogging but still no effect on my weight. Until one friend told me to check on diet pills.

I hesitated at first, for I knew the side effects of diet pills and how costly it is. Since I’m so desperate on my weight, I checked around what kind of diet pills is good on my body. Hmmm, so the arrest of people for PDA (Public Display of Affection) is increasing. I'm wondering if these people knew the law here or they just ignore it but ignorance is not an excuse. One thing they should know, they are in an Arab country so they must respect the rules and regulation regarding the decency act in this place.

The police were also urging people to report immediately if any indecency act they witnesses.

I had a chat with my cousin who is currently living in Norway. I mentioned to her that I was planning to visit Portugal and I will be staying in Porto Hotels for my humanitarian project. She was so excited and told me that since I will obtain a Schengen visa, she wants me to meet her in Spain and we could relax in Valencia Hotels. I am too excited on the idea. She even told me that I could visit 15 Europe countries with schengen visa and extended her invitation in her place.

In Norway, she explained that she could find a room for us to stay since I could not sleep over in her flat for she shares with some friends. She even told me not to bother about the accommodation since she knew some good Bergen Hotels that are affordable. With our plans ahead, who couldn’t get excited on that?

Dubai municipality announces the fourth phase of smoking ban in public places, this time in billiards or snookers hall. I can understand banning smoking in internet cafes or e-games hall but billiards? oh my...

Restaurants, malls, public areas like hospitals area, family park, office building have already implemented the ban of smoking. It is a good move from the municipality and i adhere on every rule, but banning in billiards area...well, what to do!

As a smoker, I am aware of the nicotine that building up in my teeth. So aside from being a responsible smoker to other’s (non-smoker), I take good care of my teeth too. I make sure that I visit my dentist regularly even it costs me too much and way too far from my place.

Since my company got engaged in discount dental plans last year, I save a lot of money and it’s a hassle free using the plan. The discount dental plans I have is a member of almost dental clinics here. I was able to find a dental clinic close to my home, accessible anytime and worry free from traffics. With dental discount plan in my hand, I can say that I still possess a set of white teeth, free from cavity and no bad breath.

It's about time for taxi inspectors

TransAD, the Centre for Regulation of Transport by Hire Cars in Abu Dhabi will dispatch taxi inspectors to monitor the long wait of taxis. It will ensure residents waiting time to hire a taxi. It good to know that TransAD quickly resolve residents problem on taxis especially this time, where temperature reaches 40-45C.

Residents can also file complaints or suggestion to some rude taxi drivers.

New place, new furnitures

At last we were able to move to our new place. My sister, her husband and I were able to find a new flat. We need a bigger space because my sister is pregnant. She will buy baby things soon.

Since it's a new flat we decided to buy new furnitures and give our old ones to some friends. My sister is also planning to buy a new bedroom items since single bed is not enough for them anymore. It is really good to have a new place of our own with our new things.

Whew! now I love going home early and be in our cosy flat.

UAE will be celebrating Canada Day on July 2 but not official public holiday! I thought it will be announced as public holiday so I could rest and take some time off shopping!

June and July is the time for Summer SALE here. Weekend is traffic-congested in the city because people come to take advantage of the offers and I am one of them. With the persistent price-hike, who wouldn't splurge on sale like this?

DAY likes to hang-out at Starbucks, bugging my sister for frapuccino. DAY shares secrets and jokes. DAY are helping each other. DAY are my nieces (Denise, Aileen and Ynnah) …and I am glad that DAY are close friends as well as cousins.

I just want to share this info. I was with them growing-up but now that they started having crushes and undergo life’s difficulty at school, I am not there to guide them. I just hope that they will still treat me as the coolest Aunt they could ever have...hehehe.
