12 Days of Gryffindor Christmas!

Happy Holidays, Gryffindors!

I am so glad to see how many of you have decided to stay here at Hogwarts for the holiday break! It does get awfully lonely here in Gryffindor Tower while all you students are gone.

To celebrate the holiday season in the castle, come join your fellow students in a wonderful game featuring the 12 Days of Gryffindor Christmas! Participate in each day's creative event to receive some wonderful gifts.

Also, don't forget to collect your birthday money if you are born in the month of December and are on this list!

Well I do say, it is already October! It is of course the most important month of the year for we ghosts. I hope you are all looking forward to the celebration of All Hallow's Eve!

Of course, the issue of death is a very touchy subject for me. But for those who are interested, we can have a rather lengthy discussion regarding my appeal to join the Headless Hunt. I do think you will agree in my conclusion that their denial of my admittance is rather unfair. But of course, first retrieve your birthday gift.

And please, no ghost costumes this year. We have feelings, too.

I have just been told by your very House Prefects a bit of good news! There are gifts to be received for those of you born this month of September.

You see, centuries ago, birthdays were quite different. Probably my best gift was a very important rock that... what? Oh, you aren't interested in the history of my birthdays? Well, of course, more lively things to do... yes. Well, here you go, go claim your gifts.

Hello! Dear me, all of you new Gryffindors here. I must say, you look a vibrant bunch!

Sir Nicholas de Mimsy-Porpington here, at your service. Some around the castle choose to refer to me as, ahem, Nearly Headless Nick... but I prefer you not. It is a very touchy subject, into which I shall not delve here.

But yes, back to the business at hand! Here is your announcement area. Check it often, for anything important about our wonderful House can be found here.
