Congratulations, Slytherin!

Good job, you all have done me proud, just like I asked. Slytherin has proven to be the best House, yet again. We are the winners of the 2013-2014 House Cup. Excellent. I do so like to stare at myself in the shine of the Cup.

To celebrate, it seems that some of your House Staff members are hosting games. Feel free to celebrate and participate, you've actually earned it.

Just don't be too loud.

Oh look, new Prefects

The past few months have been pretty busy for Slytherin Staff. We even have four new Prefects since I was last paying attention. Alura begged me to congratulate them, so welcome Eva Emaria, Regulas, Sar the First and sweet_pea.

The House Cup Begins! - How are you going to help Slytherin win?

The newest House Cup competition has begun. Do you know what that means? I means that our trophy is at stake and I have very much grown to like it residing in our Common Room. I would be so disappointed if I had to let the Friar, Helena or, god forbid, Nicholas have our trophy.

You wouldn't want me to be disappointed, right?

Your Head Girl sure seems to be excited as well. She's even got a thread started to talk about how you plan to help keep the House Cup Trophy in its rightful place. It looks like you'll have lots of opportunities all over the site to do your house proud.

So? What are you waiting for? Go earn House Points. I'm not losing my trophy.

Founder's Week Begins

The annual celebration in honour of our Founder, Salazar Slytherin, has begun. I expect to see each and every one of you participating in the festivities. It is Salazar's birthday, after all. There is no excuse and I don't want to hear any. This year's party is being hosted by our mascot Lisky and she will not be accept any excuses either.

To keep up to date on the events, read the index. You can also post questions there and one of the Prefects will probably stop by to answer your question. Probably. Just don't ask me.

Finally, the only holiday I enjoy this time of year. It's another Slytherween boys and girls, when the Dark Lord comes with presents for all the Slytherins who have proven themselves worthy.

Now Hiring Slytherin Prefects

Your Head of House has requested I tell you that Slytherin has a Staff opening. The Slytherin Common Room is currently looking for some new Prefects. I'm also supposed to tell you that if you're interested you should refer to this thread.

I'm really only doing this because whoever applies will end up working with me, and that I care about. So make sure to read that thread carefully. I don't think Alura will mind if you have to post to ask her questions. She's nicer than me.

Cleaning House

In an effort to keep our Common Room up to my standards, the Prefects and Head Girl have cleaned up a bit. The Slytherin Birthday Thread has been cleared of the following names:
* People that have decided to leave Slytherin, for whatever misguided reason.
* People that haven't been on the site in over two years.
* People that have left MNI.

Username changes have also been updated to ensure accuracy. I'm quite happy with the changes, personally. But if you have any questions about it, direct them to the Prefects, not me.

Oh, you’re a Slytherin, in that case welcome. If you’re talking to me, then you know whom I am.

If you’re going to be in this House, I expect you to keep up the tradition of making it a winning one. We do have a reputation to uphold.
