This week we’ve made an update to MO-Call for Android so that it’s now compatible with handsets running Eclair 2.0, 2.1 and the new Froyo version 2.2 bringing the total number of Android handsets compatible with MO-Call to over 40.

To upgrade to the new version of MO-Call on Android, delete your old version of MO-Call and then download Android from our website or from the Android market place by searching for MO-Call.

If you are using the callback method of calling, the rates to these countries will be cheaper too (But may have a different percentage saving to the standard rates quoted below). If you’re using callbacks from any of these countries, you will see a rate reduction to ALL countries.

Recently, we upgraded MO-Call on Java platforms to include simple access to cheap SMS and callback requests triggered by a tiny internet packet push. Both of these new features present considerable additional value for everyone, no matter what kind of phone you have.

Most of Morodo’s competitors have focused on building great apps for smartphones. Whilst we feel we have this market niche well covered, we have never lost sight of the fact that the majority of our customers cannot afford a smartphone and have a greater need for access to low-cost communication.
