Mobistar has crossed the 3% threshold in its share buy back programme

Brussels, 21 November 2008 ?? Transparency declaration: publication in accordance with the Law of 2nd May 2007 on disclosure of major holdings in issuers whose shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market and laying down miscellaneous provisions.

Mobistar announces that since 19 November 2008, it has acquired shares representing 3 % of capital and that this threshold was passed on the same date.

Details of passing the threshold on the date of 19 November 2008:

- number of shares acquired: 1,881,111
- number of shares representative of capital: 62,000,000
- total capital: 109,179,644.31 euros

The passing of this threshold is part of the programme of share buy back to a total of 175 million euros as announced by Mobistar on 5th February 2008.

Under this programme, 1,291,752 shares were bought before the GM on 7th May 2008 and cancelled at that GM. These shares had an acquisition value of 73.7 million euros.

Consequently, dating from the GM of 7th May 2008, Mobistar has a balance of 101.3 million euros at its disposal for the share buy back programme. The total of shares acquired, having passed the 3 % threshold, were bought for an average price of 50.9211 euros and for a total sum of 95,788,247.40 euros.

Mobistar aims to complete its share buy back programme before the end of November 2008 and be able to cancel the shares thus acquired before the end of the financial year.

Mobistar refers to the transparency declaration of 5 September 2008 which allows to outline the control structure on the date of crossing the 3% threshold as follows:

Mobistar exercises option on remaining 10 % of VOXmobile

Brussels, 14 November 2008 ?? Mobistar is buying the remaining 10 % of the shares in its Luxembourg subsidiary VOXmobile for 6,675,000 euros from shareholder Biko, an investment company co-founded by Jean-Claude Bintz and Pascal Koster. Jean-Claude Bintz takes the helm at Moskito Productions and continues to act as an advisor to VOXmobile in Luxembourg. Pascal Koster remains active as the CTO (Chief Technical Officer) for Belgium and Luxembourg.

On 12 November 2008, the Mobistar Board of Directors decided to purchase the remaining 10 % of shares in Luxembourg operator VOXmobile. Mobistar is paying 6,675,000 euros to become the sole owner of its Luxembourg subsidiary VOXmobile. In May 2007, Mobistar purchased 90 % of the shares in VOXmobile and a call option on the remaining 10 % expiring in May 2010. In consultation with the VOXmobile shareholders, it was decided to exercise the option earlier than planned in order to ensure the full integration of the company sooner and maximise any synergies between the two operators with regard to resources and expertise. This will allow VOXmobile to better arm itself against the increasing competition on the Luxembourg market.

Jean-Claude Bintz and Pascal Koster, the former CEOs of VOXmobile, are both taking up new challenges. Jean-Claude Bintz is leaving VOXmobile, but will continue to act as an advisor to Mobistar for the Luxembourg market and will take the helm at Moskito. Pascal Koster will still be responsible for IT, the network and operations in Belgium and Luxembourg as CTO.

Mobistar lowers roaming prices for professional users by up to 50%

Brussels, 4 November 2008 ?? Starting today, Mobistar lowers the price for mobile phone calls from abroad to colleagues. Thanks to the 'roaming fleet' option, colleagues who are abroad can call each other from their mobile phones for the same price as charged for incoming calls on their mobile phones abroad. This saves them up to 50% on calls to colleagues from abroad.

Analogous to the successful 'One Office Voice Pack', allowing colleagues to call each other for free in Belgium, Mobistar now also introduces the fleet concept for roaming rates for professional customers.

The 'roaming fleet' option was developed for professional customers. Independents and professionals, and also large and medium-sized companies, whose employees regularly travel abroad, can use the 'roaming fleet' option. The option can be activated on every card with a professional rate plan and costs 1.5 euro per card per month. Using this option, a mobile phone call from abroad to other colleagues (fleet list fix and mobile) will cost the same as an incoming call while abroad. This saves the customer up to 50% on calls to colleagues from abroad.

For example, using the 'roaming fleet' option lowers the price of outgoing calls with the mobile phone from abroad in zone 1 (Europe 27 + Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, Liechtenstein and Andorra) from 0.4545 euro/min to 0.2149 euro/min not including VAT. This price for outgoing calls using a mobile phone from abroad is now the same as the price for incoming calls abroad. This rate applies to all calls between colleagues at any moment, independent of the network being used. One rate for incoming and outgoing mobile phone calls from abroad to colleagues doesn't just make things cheaper for the customer, but also offers more mobility and efficiency for his professional activities abroad.

With the 'roaming fleet' option, Mobistar becomes the first Belgian operator applying the fleet concept on roaming rates for professional users.

Mobistar is launching the sale of Mini-PC??s

A Mini-PC with USB-modem and internet access as from EUR 30 per month

Brussels, 30 October 2008 ?? Mobistar is launching the sale of Mini-PC??s in all the Mobistar Centers and providing internet access for everyone at the lowest entry price. Consumers can purchase a Mini-PC on a 12-month plan including USB-modem and an Internet Everywhere-subscription for just EUR 30 per month, excluding usage.

Figures from the Eurobarometer study and the FPS (Federal Public Service) economy show that less than 60% of Belgian households own a computer and that only 56% of households are connected to the internet. This is harmful to the internet evolution in our country. Belgium is clearly behind when it comes to broadband in comparison to other EEC members. With the launch of Internet Everywhere in November last year internet access became more accessible to everybody. Today Mobistar has decided to facilitate even more the internet access by launching the sale of Mini-PC??s.

The most inexpensive Mini-PC is the Asus Eee pc 701SD with a Linux-operating system and a customer friendly interface: in 1 or 2 clicks, customers can access their mails or surf the internet. The Asus Eee pc 701SD costs EUR 199. The more advanced Mini-PC is the HP2133 with Windows XP home edition as operating system, greater memory and is on offer for EUR 449. The Asus and HP Mini-PC??s are available in all the Mobistar Centers with or without internet access via Internet Everywhere or Mobistar ADSLmax.

An Asus Mini-PC plus a monthly internet access and an Internet Everywhere-modem is available for just EUR 30 per month on a 12-month plan, excluding usage (1 euro per day). Equivalent formulas exist with the HP Mini-PC. The financing of the Mini-PC??s is offered at a 0% credit.

Mobistar responds to the consumer??s needs with this low price entry offer for the internet: telecommunication must be accessible to everyone.

Mobistar continues growth: customer base and revenues increase, profitability remains strong

Brussels, 21 October 2008 ?? Mobistar announced today its results for the end of the third quarter of 2008. Thanks to consistently executing its strategy, Mobistar can present growth figures, even in a competitive market with persistent pressure from regulatory authorities and an unfavourable economic climate.
Key facts

The Mobistar group registers a 10.0 % growth in its customer base in a year. The number of customers grew from 3,411,232 active customers at the end of September 2007 to 3,752,491 active customers at the end of the third quarter of 2008.

On 30 September 2008, the Mobistar group showed an increase in consolidated turnover, despite the impact of the regulatory measures which amounted to 81.5 million euro during the first nine months of the year. At the end of September 2008 consolidated turnover amounted to 1,139.3 million euro, compared to 1,125.1 million euro at the end of September 2007, or an increase of 1.3 %.

The increase in the number of customers and increased usage of both voice and data, delayed the decrease of the ARPU, which continues to be pressured by the decreasing MTR and roaming rates. The regulatory impact on the ARPU is -2.4 euro. The ARPU decreased by 7.8 % from 35.6 euro per month per customer at the end of September 2007 to 32.83 euro per month per customer at the end of September 2008, compared to 33.13 euro per customer at the end of June 2008.

The EBITDA margin remained stable at 41.5 % of service revenues thanks to an efficient cost policy, among others.

The good results of the first nine months of 2008 allow Mobistar to confirm its outlook for the full year 2008, as announced at the end of the first semester (revenue decrease of 0 to 2 %, EBITDA margin of at least 40 %, investment level of about 10 % of service revenues and decrease by 2 to 4 % of the net result per share, in accordance with the expected number of shares on the market at the end of December 2008), and this despite the competitive and regulatory pressure and an economically unfavourable climate.

Mobistar enters into partnership with Pumbby to further develop mobile marketing

Brussels, 16th September 2008 - Mobistar and Pumbby enter into a partnership and launch a joint mobile phone advertising initiative for Mobistar customers. Thanks to this partnership, Mobistar customers can earn some extra euros by subscribing to a service sending them commercial messages they are interested in.

Research has shown that 50% of young people are prepared to receive commercial messages on their mobile phones in exchange for certain benefits. Mobistar therefore launched a promotional initiative with Pumbby to reach these young people. Pumbby offers Mobistar customers a Pumbby subscription to receive commercial messages on their mobiles in exchange for a fee. Subscribing to Pumbby is possible on Orange World, Mobistar??s mobile portal, or the tempomusic.be website. Customers decide themselves which information they want to receive and can unsubscribe at any time. Once customers have subscribed to the service, they receive text messages with a link they can click on to see the commercial message.

Pumbby gives users a fee of 0.44 euros for each commercial message they visit. Because TempoMusic customers only pay 0.25 euros per mobile internet session, their net profit per visited commercial message is at least 0.19 euros. Pumbby sends no more than 10 commercial messages a day. Mobistar postpaid customers can earn some euros with Pumbby if they opt for the Orange World bundle of 6 euros/month. If customers subscribe on Orange World, they can view several commercial messages in one session.

On the Pumbby portal, customers can exchange their obtained credit for Tempo prepaid calling cards, cinema tickets, DVDs, CDs, books ? or they can choose to have the amount transferred to their bank account.

Mobistar exceeds initial guidance: customer base, revenues and EBITDA.

Brussels, 24 July 2008 ?? Mobistar today announced its results for the first semester of 2008. Despite continued competition and the persistent pressure from regulating authorities, Mobistar was able to achieve results that exceeded the initial guidance.
Key facts:

? The Mobistar group??s customer base, including MVNO??s, grew by 14.8 % compared to June 2007. At the end of the first semester of 2008, the group Mobistar had 3,720,018 active customers, an increase of 479,502 customers compared to June 2007. A total of 230,159 customers were acquired in the first six months of 2008.
? The increase in the number of active customers has a positive effect on revenues, but cannot prevent that the decrease of the roaming and mobile termination rates (MTR) had a negative influence on the ARPU (Average Revenue per User). The ARPU evolved from 36.90 euro at the end of June 2007 to 33.13 euro per month per active customer one year later.
? Regulations had a 55.9 million euro impact in the first semester of this year, taking the BIPT??s new decision regarding the MTR partially into account. Despite the decrease in the roaming and mobile termination rates, Mobistar group??s consolidated revenue remains approximately stable thanks to a positive contribution from Luxemburg operator VOXmobile. Consolidated revenue amounted 745.5 million euro at the end of June 2008, compared to 747.2 million euro a year earlier or a decrease of 0.2 %.
? In line with expectations, Mobistar manages to keep its EBITDA margin stable at
41.9 % of service revenues, thanks to continued cost controlling and the favourable evolution of its commercial activities.
? The evolution of revenues and net profit exceeds initial guidance. Therefore, Mobistar is adjusting its guidance upward and anticipates a slight decrease in revenues of 0 to
2 % for the financial year 2008 compared to the initially expected decrease of 1 to 3 %. Mobistar anticipates a decline of 2 to 4 % in the net result per share at the end of this year, in accordance with the expected number of shares on the market at the end of December 2008.
? Mobistar concluded the first phase of its share buyback programme. During the Shareholders Meeting, there has been decided to annul 1.3 million of the company??s own shares, for an amount of 73.7 million euro.
Mobistar??s Board of Directors decided to proceed to the second phase of its share buyback programme, as announced in early February 2008.

I Mobistar S.A.

Continued commercial success thanks to the mobility strategy

Mobistar reconfirms the success of its ??mobility centric approach?? with growth of its customer base. Last year it was confirmed that this business strategy would be applied. The ??mobility centric approach?? implies for the residential market a ??fixed-to-mobile substitution?? strategy and a convergence strategy in the professional market.
Replacing fixed telephony with mobile telephony in residential customers?? homes continues. In February 2008, three new versions of AtHome were launched: AtHome Evening and Weekend for 4 euro, AtHome Always for 7 euro and AtHome Always and Everywhere for 10 euro. At the end of June 2008, Mobistar registered almost 100,000 Mobistar AtHome customers. Thanks to this option, they can call from home with their mobiles to fixed lines in their own country and abroad at low rates. For the internet too, the customer can now replace his fixed line with a Mobistar mobile version. Internet Everywhere, allowing surfing the web for 1 euro per day on the EDGE/HSDPA network, is also a great success. At the end of June, Mobistar s.a. counted 26,000 mobile internet customers (Internet Everywhere and Business Everywhere).
The convergent approach is proven to be the right strategy for the professional market and was confirmed by the success of products like One Office Voice Pack. 16,138 companies already chose this flexible pricing formula, which bundles fixed and mobile telephony. The number of mobile telephony cards is at 106,326 and the number for fixed lines stands at 93,146. In addition, Mobistar launched One Office Full Pack at the end of May, which bundles fixed data in addition to fixed and mobile telephony. Using this formula, companies save up to 30 % of their telecom expenses.
Mobistar announced that mobile data was going to be one of its growth axes for the future, thanks to a performing mobile broadband network. Today, Mobistar has the most complementary mobile broadband network in Belgium, covering 99 % of the population with its EDGE network and almost 75 % with the 3G/HSDPA network. This resulted in an increase in the use of services like Internet Everywhere, Business Everywhere and WAP. In addition, more machine-to-machine applications are being developed with Mobistar. At the end of June 2008, mobile data represented 20 % of service revenues, compared to 17 % a year earlier.
The segmented approach continues to play an important role in the further expansion of the customer base. Through MVNO agreements, Mobistar can respond even better to customers?? needs in well-defined segments. Lycamobile and Telenet together counted 297,073 active customers at the end of June 2008. Mobistar announced that during 2008 new MVNO partners would join. On 1 July 2008, Mobistar signed an agreement with Blyk, the mobile network for youth, which is funded by advertising.

On 30 June 2008, Mobistar S.A. had a total of 3,645,184 active customers, including the number of MVNO customers, 404,668 more than the 3,240,516 customers a year earlier, or an increase of 12.5 % in a year. The increase by 404,668 consists of 148,376 new Mobistar customers and 256,292 new MVNO customers.
The customer base, including MVNO customers, increased by 4.5 % during the first six months of 2008, from 3,489,859 customers at the end of 2007, to 3,645,184 customers at the end of June 2008.
The new Mobistar customers are mainly postpaid customers, which further improved the number of subscribers in the customer base. The share of the postpaid customers in the customer base reached 55.4 % at the end of June 2008, compared to 54 % at the end of 2007 and 53.4 % at the end of June 2007.
The business segment represents 19.7 % of the postpaid customers, an increase of 1.47 % compared to last year, thanks to the success of One Office Voice pack in the small and medium company segment and a few large contracts in the corporate segment.
At the end of June 2008, Mobistar S.A. had 76,186 ADSL customers, 22,271 our own ADSL customers and 53,915 ADSL customers from wholesale partners.

Evolution of the average monthly revenue per user (ARPU)
The average monthly revenue per user (ARPU) decreased during one year from 36.9 euro to 33.13 euro per month per active customer. The drop of the ARPU was caused by the lowering of the mobile termination rates (MTR) in 2007 and 2008, the decrease of the roaming rates and increased pressure on prices.
Thanks to continued growth in usage by Mobistar??s customers, the ARPU fall was partially compensated. During the first semester of 2008, Mobistar customers made on average 9.5 % more calls than in the same period the year before and they sent 31 % more text messages than in the first semester of 2007. Usage of other mobile data activities is also increasing.
The use of mobile data also saw a major increase, generating a share of mobile data in service revenues up to 20 % at the end of the first semester of 2008, compared to
17 % at the end of June 2007. The increase results from a grow in the use of SMS, Internet Everywhere, Mail and Surf and the updated Orange World services in the residential market and of Blackberry®, Business Everywhere and various machine-to-machine applications in the professional market.

Revenues
On 30 June 2008, Mobistar??s service revenues amounted 700.4 million euro, compared to 720.9 million euro at the end of June 2007, or a 2.8 % decrease. Regulations had a 55.9 million euro impact in the first six months of 2008, taking the BIPT??s new decision regarding the MTR partially into account. This decision includes a decrease of the mobile termination rates in May 2008 and the cancellation of BIPT's initial decision, which envisioned a decrease in February 2008. The impact of this cancellation, 5.7 million euro, has not been included in the results because of the legal uncertainty regarding this discussion. Mobistar generated more income from an increase in handset sales and a grow in online sales activities and in its own distribution channels.
Total turnover amounted 727.7 million euro for the first half of 2008, or a decrease of 2.6 % compared to the 747.2 million euro achieved at the end of June 2007.
At the end of June 2008, VOXmobile had 74,834 active customers, a 6 % increase compared to the 70,569 active customers at the end of the first semester of 2007.
VOXmobile??s results are being consolidated as of 2 July 2007. Service revenues of the Luxemburg operator for the first six months of 2008 amounted 16.5 million euro, compared to 15.1 million euro for the same period a year earlier, or a year-on-year increase of 9.3 %. In the first semester of 2008, total turnover rose to 18.3 million euro, an increase of 7.6 % compared to the 17 million euro in June 2007.
VOXmobile customers?? ARPU decreases slightly, from 33.30 euro per active customer per month at the end of June 2007, to 32.18 euro at the end of June 2008. This is a result of the decrease of the mobile termination and roaming rates in Luxemburg and the high pressure on prices resulting from an aggressive pricing policy by the historical operator.
During the first semester of 2008, VOXmobile expanded its distribution network by collaborating with more partners, both for the residential and the small and medium-sized business segment.
Results
The consolidated turnover for the first half of 2008 amounted 745.5 million euro, compared to 747.2 million euro at the end of June 2007 and remained stable. On 30 June 2008 consolidated EBITDA amounted 300.0 million euro, compared to 302.0 million euro at the end of the first semester of 2007. Mobistar also invested in its fix network activities in order to be able to better promote the bundled offer of fixed and mobile telephony on the business market.
Continuous cost controlling and efficient operations management allow Mobistar to maintain its profitability, with an EBITDA margin of 41.9 % of the service revenues on 30 June 2008.

The consolidated net profit decreases slightly compared to last year, from 150.7 million euro at the end of June 2007 to 145.1 million euro on 30 June 2008, a decrease of
3.7 %. This results in a net profit of 2.30 euro per share on 30 June 2008, compared to 2.38 euro per share at the end of June 2007.

Investments
Mobistar continues to invest in a performance network and national and controlled distribution. The investments during the first semester of 2008 amounted 69.6 million euro, or 9.7 % of service revenues. During the same period last year, investments were 58.3 million euro. During the first half of 2008 the expansion of the broadband network was accelerated, thanks to the new operational model. Today, Mobistar has the most complementary mobile broadband network in Belgium, covering 99 % of the population with its EDGE network and almost 75 % with the 3G/HSDPA network.

IV Trends

Mobistar will continue with its current strategy in 2008. The operator remains convinced that the ??mobility centric approach?? is the best way to create value for its shareholders and offer optimum service to its customers. In addition to the growth of voice traffic, the use of mobile data services offers a major potential for growth.
In the residential market, Mobistar will continue to replace fixed with mobile telephony. In the professional market, Mobistar will continue to offer convergent solutions and continue to invest in expanding its fixed-line products.
Mobistar doesn??t expect additional decreases in addition to the MTR decrease in May and June 2008. The first drop for 2008, from 10.63 to 9.94 eurocent per minute was effected 1 May 2008. On 1 July, a second decline of mobile termination rates was introduced, from 9.94 to 9.02 eurocent per minute.
In this context, Mobistar is adjusting its guidance upward and anticipates a slight decrease in revenue of 0 to 2 % for the financial year 2008, compared to the initially expected decrease of 1 to 3 %. Mobistar expects that, because of efficient cost management, the EBITDA margin for 2008 will be at least 40 % and that the investment level of approximately 10 % of service revenues will be maintained. Mobistar anticipates a decrease of 2 to 4 % of the net profit per share at the end of this year, in accordance with the expected number of shares on the market at the end of December 2008.

V Remuneration of shareholders

Mobistar??s Board of Directors decided to proceed to the second phase of its share buyback programme, as announced in February of this year. During this second phase, Mobistar will spend a total amount of 101.3 million euro to buy back its own shares, as soon as the capital decrease of 4 euro per share is implemented on 6 August 2008. The shares that will be bought during the second semester will also be annulled at the end of the year 2008.
The majority shareholder confirms that he will not participate in the share buyback programme. The progress of the share buyback programme will be available on the website: http://corporate.mobistar.be/en/investor/info.php

Blyk, a new MVNO partner of Mobistar

Brussels, 1 July 2008 ?? Mobistar and Blyk announce today that they have reached an agreement related to the provision of mobile services. Blyk intends to enter the Belgian market as a mobile virtual network operator using the Mobistar network.

Blyk is the new mobile network for 16-24 year-olds that is funded by advertising. Blyk links young people with brands they like and gives them free texts and minutes every month. Blyk was founded in 2006 in Finland and is now operating in the UK, where members embraced the Blyk concept so quickly that its annual member targets of 100,000 were reached six months ahead of schedule. Entry into Belgium is part of Blyk's next wave of European expansion that was announced last week.

Benoit Scheen, Mobistar CEO: ??I am delighted that Blyk has chosen Mobistar for their expansion into Belgium. We strongly believe in the innovative Blyk approach (connecting advertisers with young people) and in the related value it will be bringing to the Belgium telecom market. The figures Blyk already achieved and continues achieving in the UK are impressive. I am convinced that the extensive usage of advertising traffic is an opportunity supporting Mobistar development in the mobile data business and willingness to reach new segments in the Belgian population via partnerships. It confirms Mobistar commitment to the development of mobile data services through continuous investments in its network.??

Mobistar launches the first global telecom solution for the professional market

Brussels, 29 May 2008 ?? Mobistar is the first operator to bundle mobile and fix telephony with Internet in one tariff plan for the business market. The solution ?? called ??One Office Full Pack?? ?? meets the telecommunication needs of self-employed persons and small enterprises. With One Office Full Pack, Mobistar is launching the first global solution for the professional market that is a fully viable alternative to the offerings of the fix telephony players. Mobistar customers will save up to 30 % on their telecom invoices.

Telecommunication is critical for the business continuity of self-employed persons and small enterprises. Control over the telecom budget, economical rates and simplified administration are important elements in the choice of a telecom operator. Companies are looking for global solutions for their basic telecom needs ?? including simplicity: 1 contract, 1 invoice, 1 customer service desk, 1 contact person. Research shows that 77 % of companies would like a single supplier for fixed and mobile telephony and Internet and that 89 % want to reduce their total budget for their telecom requirements.

With One Office Full Pack ?? an expansion of the One Office Voice Pack telephony packages (fixed and mobile) with professional broadband Internet ?? Mobistar answers these needs. This innovative, competitive offer, with 7 different formulas according to usage, delivers the customer a savings of up to 30 % on his telecom budget, while increasing productivity.

To enter into a One Office Full Pack contract, the customer has to make only 2 choices: 1) a minimum commitment for national mobile and fix telephony and for SMS and mobile data traffic (from 10 to 2000 euro), and 2) the number of simultaneous calls (from 1 to 4) he wishes to make via his fix line. For the latter choice, the customer pays a fee per month in accordance with his choice.

In return, the customer receives:
- free fleet calls amongst colleagues, from fix to mobile, from mobile to fix, from mobile to mobile,
- free calls from fix to fix national,
- free forwarding of incoming calls from fix to mobile,
- free fast and secure access to professional broadband Internet and fix telephony with 1 to 4 simultaneous voice channels (via the wireless modem, Business Livebox),
- access to mobile telephony,
- integrated voice mail for fix and mobile with SMS notification and consultability via mobile phone,
- support for analogue fax machines, phones, payment terminals and alarm systems.

In addition, for communication outside the telephony bundles, the customer benefits from unique economical tariffs (ATAN) for mobile and fix telephony and can keep existing fix and mobile phone numbers free of charge.

With the launch of One Office Full Pack, Mobistar confirms its strategy of convergence in the professional market. The roll-out of the global telecom solution One Office Full Pack to the SoHo (small office, home office) market is a first realization of the convergence approach in the professional market.

Mobistar's customer base continues to grow

Brussels ?? 15 April 2008 - At the end of March 2008, Mobistar had 3,384,961 active customers(1) on consolidated level, compared to 3,165,120 active customers one year ago. With this result, the operator confirms the success of its strategic approach. As a consequence of the decrease in mobile termination and roaming rates, and the pressure on prices, the consolidated turnover(2) dropped by 2.7% (-9.9 million euro). The operator affirms that the results for the first quarter are in line with the objectives that have been set for the year 2008, despite a very competitive market situation. These results do not yet take into account the effect of the suspension of the latest decrease in the mobile termination rates announced by the Brussels Court of Appeal, nor with the draft decision of the BIPT regarding MTR.

On 31 March 2008, Mobistar s.a. had 3,310,816 active customers for mobile telephony, an increase of 4.6% compared to the 3,165,120 customers the previous year. The customer base, including the number of MVNO customers, amounted to 3,557,832 or an increase of 11.4% with regard to the end of March 2007. The increase in the number of customers confirms the success of Mobistar's ??mobile-centric' strategy. In the residential market, at the end of the first quarter, Mobistar counted 85,741 AtHome customers and 247,016 MVNO customers, thanks to a segmented approach. In the professional market, 4,366 companies have already taken up the One Office Voice Pack bundled offering.

The share of the postpaid customers in the active customer base continues to increase and reached 54.6% at the end of March 2008. The ARPU³ evolved from 38.17 euro per month per active customer at the end of March 2007 to 33.67 euro per month per active customer one year later. The 11.8% drop in 1 year's time is a consequence of the decrease of the mobile termination and roaming rates in May and in September 2007 and in February 2008, and the pressure on prices. The drop in the ARPU was limited by an increased usage of mobile data services in the customer base. The increase in mobile data traffic is the result of successful products like Internet Everywhere, Business Everywhere, and Blackberry®, as well as rising SMS traffic.

Regulatory pressure has had a negative impact of 31.4 million euro on Mobistar's turnover. The service revenues fell by 4.3% from 358.5 million euro at the end of the first quarter of 2007 to 343.2 million euro at the end of March 2008. On 31 March 2008, Mobistar s.a. registered a total turnover of 353.9 million euro or 4.9% less than the 372.1 million euro one year ago.

The number of active VOXmobile customers increased by 8.6%: from 68,256 at the end of March 2007 to 74,145 one year later. VOXmobile closed the first quarter of 2008 with a service revenue of 7.9 million euro compared to 7.0 million euro at the end of March 2007, an increase of 12.9%. At the end of the first quarter of 2008, the total turnover came to 8.7 million euro compared to 8.3 million euro at the end of 2007 (or an increase of 4.8%). As a consequence of a decrease in the mobile termination and roaming rates, the ARPU of the Luxembourg customers fell by 1.6%: from 32.62 euro per month per active customer at the end of March 2007 to 32.11 euro on 31 March 2008.

The first quarter of 2008 was closed with consolidated service revenues of 350.7 million euro, compared to 358.5 million euro one year ago, or a decrease of 2.2%. Total consolidated turnover amounted to 362.2 million euro, 2.7% less than the previous year. The results for the first quarter of 2008 are in line with the objectives set for the year 2008.

As a result of the judgment by the Brussels Court of Appeal on 4 April 2008, the most recent decrease of the mobile termination rates (MTR) has been suspended ?? and, on 11 April 2008, the BIPT submitted a new draft decision for the MTR for 2008. If the BIPT draft decision is confirmed, the originally estimated negative effect of the regulation on the anticipated turnover for 2008 should in theory be reduced by 12.1 million euro. As of today, pending the final BIPT decision, Mobistar deems it premature to adjust its original guidance with regard to turnover, the EBITDA margin and the net result for 2008.

Since the announcement of the results of 2007, Mobistar has proceeded to purchase 1,291,752 of its own shares in order to nullify them, at an average price of 57.03 euro for a total amount of 73.7 million euro.

Mobistar first to launch a lenticular campaign, in collaboration with JCDecaux Innovate

Brussels, 20 March 2008 ?? Telecom operator Mobistar is starting an outdoor campaign for ??BestDeal?? today with a world first on 38 m² in Brussels and Antwerp, using lenticular printing technology from JCDecaux Innovate. This innovative technique gives an added value to communication via conventional posters and fits perfectly into Mobistar??s media strategy.

Mobistar is surprising its customers with an exclusive poster campaign. For the first time, thanks to the lenticular technology, one will see the illusion of movement on a 38 m² Prestige panel and on a 2 m² abribus. Two Mobistar visuals ?? ??Ik blijf?? and ??Maar ik vertrek als ik wil?? (??I??m staying?? ??But I leave when I like??) ?? will alternate on the poster panel depending on the viewing angle of the car and pedestrian passers-by. The moving image reinforces the creative concept of the campaign.

What is lenticular printing? Print with an illusion of movement
Everybody is familiar with them: postcards, rulers, flipos that display an illusion of movement or a third dimension when you tilt them back and forth. The effect is achieved by printing different images that are viewed through a ribbed plastification. The plastic layer works like a lens through which, depending on the viewing angle, you see first the one image and then the other.

Mobistar??s lenticular campaign ?? a world first in the 38 m² format and a Belgian first in the 2 m² format ?? is part of a global billboard campaign for the launch of ??BestDeal??, the flexible tariff plan that combines the freedom of a prepaid card with the comfort and the price of a subscription.

With this campaign, Mobistar is setting a new trend in outdoor communication. The hologram effect lends added value to traditional poster advertising. First of all, because the visual message draws the consumer??s attention and thus creates stopping power. And secondly, the mediatising of campaigns fits into the media strategic approach of Mobistar, who wants to capitalise more on the consumer??s world of experience.

The 38 m² lenticular billboard campaign runs from 20 - 31 March in Brussels and Antwerp (Place Dailly in Brussels; Antwerpsesteenweg 85, Mortsel, in Antwerp). The billboard campaign is being complemented by an Abribus campaign on the JCDecaux 2m² network, where the lenticular technology is also being applied. The Abribus campaign ?? a Belgian first! ?? runs from 1 - 7 April.
