Nokia 5530 XpressMusic photos

Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has got a large 2.9 inch touchscreen display with tactile feedback sporting resolution of 640×360 pixels widescreen. It runs on the Symbian S60 5th Edition, there is also Wi-Fi b/g support, Bluetooth, EDGE, 3.2 megapixels camera with autofous and LED flash, 3.5 mm headset jack, FM Radio with RDS, 150MB of internal memory and microSD card slot – HotSwappable with 4GB microSD card in the package.

5530 XpressMusic will be smaller version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, which has 3.2 inch touchscreen display. 5530 XM will be available in the Q3 this year for an estimated price of 200 euro before taxes.

Samsung Omnia Pro has got a large 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen with a sweet 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The phone also has got a full side-slider QWERTY keyboard. Omnia Pro runs on the Windows Mobile OS – probably WinMo 6.1, it will also be upgradable to Windows Mobile 6.5 when it comes in September. The new Omnia actually does support 16M colors, but due the restrictions of Windows Mobile 6.1 OS Omnia Pro will be able to utilize 65K colors.

The camera of this device has 5 megapixels with autofocus, sadly the phone doesn’t have flash of any kind. Samsung Omnia Pro has got 1GB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot with up to 32GB support (when eventually became availble).

The new Omnia Pro offers some great connectivity – quad-band GSM support, HSDPA support with 7.2Mbps, WiFi 802.11 b/g, built-in GPS reciver with A-GPS support, Bluetooth 2.0, miniUSB port and FM Radio with RDS.

Samsung Omnia Pro should be available in France in July – Orange and SFRm, the price is around 350 euro or $500 US dollars. Source

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 photos

The new XPERIA will run on customized by Sony Ericsson Windows Mobile 6.5 OS and Windows Mobile 7 is also supported so an upgrade is possible when the new OS becomes available. There is also PlayStation 3 remote play feature onboard, built-in GPS reciver and video recording VGA@30fps. It comes with 12 Megapixel camera with both LED and XENON flash, probably the LED flash is for video recording and the XENON flash is for taking photos in the dark. The phone also supports 3x optical zoom, if Samsung get the image quality right M8920 will replace low-end/mid-end point-and-shoot cameras.

On the other side there is a large touchscreen, the phone also comes with 8GB of internal memory. There is built-in GPS reciver and WiFi with DLNA support onboard. According to the source Samsung M8920 will be an extra large handset because of that high-tech features. It will run on Samsung’s TouchWiz Interface.

The phone could be announced at one of the three simultaneous Samsung events in London, Dubai and Singapore next week. Stay tuned for more information. Source

Nokia 6600i has got a 2.2 inch TFT display, 3G support, Bluetooth, microSD slot, and FM Radio. There is also built-in accelerometer for tap commands. The ratail box includes 1GB microSD card.

The only difference is the camera – 5mp instead of 3.2 mp. The dual-LED unit is the same and the video recording resolution and fps is the same VGA@15fps.

Nokia claims the 6600i is the smallest 5MP slider in the world for the moment. We liked the Nokia 6600 slide, we think we dig the successor as well.

The phone is expected to hit the market in Q3 this year at an estimated price of 200 euro. Source

The leaked photos of the Samsung B7300

The phone has got a poor connectivity. There is no 3G or WiFi, just EDGE. This is because the phone is headed for the China mobile market and they doesn’t have 3G network yet.

Samsung B7300 has got a built-in GPS reciver, the rest of the features are standard – microSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0, FM Radio and microUSB port. The camera has 3 megapixels which is a step down.

This phone is like a lite version of Samsung Omnia, it measures 107.9 x 51.8 x 13 mm and weights just over 100 grams. The release date and the price are not known yet.

Palm Eos has got a 2.63 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 400 pixels, there is 4GB of internal memory (no memory card slot) and a built-in GPS reciver. The device has got also a camera – 2megapixels with fixed focus and LED flash, stereo Bluetooth and microUSB port are onboard.

i7500 has got a 3.2 inch AMOLED touchscreen with Half-VGA resolution. The phone offers all the connectivity feature you might expect in a 2009 flagship. There is built-in GPS reciver, WiFi support, 3G plus HSDPA and HSUPA and Bluetooth. Samsung have thing about the wired connectivity too, there is 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB port.

Samsung i7500 has got 8GB of internal memory and it’s expandable via microSD slot. The phone runs on the latest 1.5 version of the Android OS. There is also camera onboard – a 5 megapixels snapper with autofocus.

The phone will become available in major European countries from June this year, but the price is still unknown. According to the rumors the price should be around 300 euro before taxes and subsides.

The actual leaked information is three slides, here they go:

Toshiba TG02 will be splash-resistent – it can be used with wet hands or outside in the rain. 3.2 megapixels camera, built-in GPS reciver and HSPA are also onboard.

Toshiba TG03 has 5 megapixels camera and 5.1 audio channels support. The device is only 9.9mm thick, we’d like to see 5.1 audio in this devices. There is no built-in GPS in TG03. The phone also comes with VideoBox support, we don’t know what that means be cause there is a couple of services named VideoBox. It could be something like desktop computer transcoding software.

Toshiba K01 is Windows Mobile 6.5 slider with the same Snapdragon 1 GHz CPU. The phone sports 4.1 inch touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard. While the K02 has got a clamshell form factor and 3.5 inch resistive display. K02 has got a secondary display and ten extra keys on the front panel. Maybe we’re talking about the Toshiba Communicator? Both devices sport 3.15 megapixels camera and HSPA.

And finally the third and the most interesting device – the Toshiba L01. It’s again Windows Mobile 6.5 phone with a 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU and a 7 inch display. There is optional detachable QWERTY keyboard. The L01 also seems to have a kickstand but we can’t really tell for sure.

There is no guarantee for these things being phones; the L01 isn’t a phone, although it sports HSPA as well.

Toshiba TG02 and TG03 is expected in Q4 2009, while the other devices should be out and about at the end of 2009 or in the early 2010.

The rumored specs of the device include a 2.9 inch screen, FM Radio, Wi-Fi support, 150MB of built-in memory, microSD card slot and 3.2 megapixels snapper. There is much similarity with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, but the screen is smaller and there is no GPS reciver. We don’t have any information about the 3G support. The phone will run on a Symbian OS platform – S60 5th Edition.

Hopefully the phone will be cheaper than 5800 due the smaller screen size and the lack of GPS reciver. According to DailyMobile, the announcement of the phone is expected in September this year.

Almost the entire front panel is touchscreen, there is only one hardware button on the bottom. For me T-Mobile G3 looks a lot like iPhone (correct me if i’m wrong). G3 sports WiFi, 3G and bluetooth connectivity, there is also built-in 5 megapixels camera and 3.5mm jack for headphones. The handset will run on the Android OS of course.

In UK T-Mobile G3 will start shipping in July-August this year. This is the information we’ve got so far, no word on the pricing or more details.

LG GM310 has got a 2.2 inch screen with QVGA resolution and 3.15 megapixels camera with autofocus. The music dedicated keys are located under the screen. The panel of the GM310 is touch-sensitive, of course the phone has a 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD slot with up to 32GB support. GM310 has 512MB or 1GB internal memory.

LG GM310 offers tri-band GSM networks support, dual-band HSDPA support (up to 1.8 Mbps) and Bluetooth 2.1.

LG GM210 and GM205 are handsets with similar specs list and design. GM210 is a bar phone, while GM205 is slider. They both has got a 2 megapixels camera. The GM210 supports up to 4GB microSD cards and USB 2.0, while the GM205 support up to 2GB, but offers 2.1 channel speakers.

The phones will be released in Asia, Latin America, Brazil and Mexico in emerging markets. There is no informatino about the price tag. Via

Most of the phones will be released in July and May. Sony Ericsson CS8 Cyber-shot will hit the shelves in June, which seems soon considering the fact it hasn’t been announced yet. However, there is no information about the release date of HTC Magic / T-Mobile G2.

Wap profiles on the Sony Ericsson’s website reveal two new Cyber-Shot handsets. The first one is CS8, while the second one is CS5 – beside the name, no other information.

There will be two versions of HTC Snap at the market – EMEA version will operate on the 900/2100 MHz frequencies and the US version will support 850/1900 MHz and will be called HTC S721.

HTC Snap sports 2.4 inch landscape screen with QVGA resolution and a 2 megapixels camera. Also the phone runs on a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM 7225 CPU and has 192MB of RAM. HTC Snap has got quad-band GSM network support and dual-band UMTS + HSDPA support.

HTC Snap also has built-in GPS reciver with A-GPS support, WiFi, microSD card slot and Bluetooth. The phone will start shipping this summer in UK and US, the pricetag is still unknown.

Acer Inc., the world’s third-largest personal-computer vendor, will introduce a mobile phone in September that runs on Google Inc.’s Android operating system, an official at the Taiwanese company said.

The A1, equipped with a touch screen, is among four handset models that Acer plans to debut that month, the person said, asking not to be identified because he’s not authorized to comment on the matter. Henry Wang, a spokesman at Taipei-based Acer, declined to comment. Marsha Wang, a spokesman at Google in Beijing, declined to immediately comment.

Obviously Sony Ericsson haven’t come up with a marketing model name yes, Idou is still code name for the device. This new interface is faster than everything else we’ve seen, it’s even faster than iPhone.

Here is couple of new things about the Idou. The phone is powered by Li-Po battery with a capacity of 1000 mAh. Also we see the stylus dongle for the first time.

There is camera samples too. It seems that this particular phone was unable to shoot in its full resolution and only produced 9MP samples. The current camera samples looks awful, but remember – this photos are taken by an pre-released unit of the phone.
