It come in a big box – I got shocked it’s not watch box size , but later I notice that’s because Box includes the charger as well.
Bluetooth Music Control With support for the Bluetooth Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), the watch lets you control the music player on your phone. This is highly convenient especially when you are, say, on the treadmill because you won’t have to fiddle around with the controls on the phone with your sweaty hands.

The complaint I have with the MBW-150 watch is that it is a only a 10 metre range. If it were a class 1 device, you could’ve enjoyed a range of up to 100 metres - allowing you to conveniently get notifications even when you are far from your phone.

Pairing the watch with your Bluetooth phone is easy - there is no need to type in even the usual “0000″ default pin code. On select Symbian phones, the watch will also display the track being played.

Third-party web-browsers would not only give iPhone users more choice in how they want to play with their web-access, but it could even open up the possibility of seeing third-party plug-ins that could allow Flash to finally work on the iPhone.

iPhone Atlas has an interesting take on this. The problem with third-party web-browsers is that Apple’s own iPhone SDK agreement seems to essentially block development in this arena:

“No interpreted code may be downloaded and used in an Application except for code that is interpreted and run by Apple’s Published APIs and built-in interpreter(s) […] An Application may not itself install or launch other executable code by any means, including without limitation through the use of a plug-in architecture, calling other frameworks, other APIs or otherwise.”

Now, the question is just how the above verbiage can be interpreted. If it turns out that Apple won’t allow for third-party applications to rock plug-ins or for any non-Webkit HTML/Javascript renderers, then web-browsers like Mozilla’s Gecko-based Firefox could be dead in the water. On the other hand, if Mozilla can find a way to make their mobile web browser work on the iPhone, we’re all going to be going on an interesting ride.

That is, if Apple allows for competition to their iPhone Safari browser to hit the AppStore.

Make sure you can comfortably use most keys with one hand. Make a test call and access menu items. We’ve found that flat or virtual keypads make dialing more difficult without looking. Check the display. Most color screens are fine in dim and normal light, but some are harder to see in daylight or under bright light. Try the phone outside or under bright light. Also make sure indicators such as battery life and signal strength are clearly visible.

Consider the carrier. Most phones work only with a specific carrier, so you must decide whether to stay with your current provider or select a new one when shopping for a phone.

Most GSM phones, for example, provide more talk time on a battery charge, typically five hours or more, compared with three or four hours for a CDMA phone. Another GSM plus: Those phones have a SIM card that stores your account information and, if you choose, your phone book. When you switch to a new phone, you can simply remove the card from inside the old phone and insert it into the new one.

Choosing you Phone Features

You will find it easier to choose a mobile phone if you carefully consider your needs and the types of services that will work for you. Choosing a phone is not as simple as it sounds although it can be easier if you decide what you want from your phone.
Look for useful features
In addition to the useful phone and multimedia features of today’s cell-phone models, consider whether you need the following:

Speakerphone. A built-in speakerphone, which allows hands-free use in a car or elsewhere. (But avoid using any phone, even hands-free, while driving.)

Programmable jog dial. Lets you program all the pressure points on a circular jog as shortcuts to the most-used features and functions, such as address book and text messaging.

Memory card. Many phones have slots that accept memory cards to expand storage capacity by as much as 32 gigabytes. The removable cards can also serve as an easy way to shuttle files between your phone and other devices-provided the phone’s maker didn’t bury the card slot behind the battery cover. Card formats include Secure Digital Card SD, miniSD, and MicroSD.

GPS navigation. All phones have some type of location-based technology to help emergency responders find you when you dial 911 or 112. But a growing number of phones support GPS Navigation, services which integrate GPS with maps and search engines to give you real-time, spoken, turn-by-turn directions to an entered address, or to help you find nearby businesses by name or category, such as Joe’s Pizzeria or hospitals. Some phones without GPS technology, such as the iPhone and other phones, still manage to provide turn-by-turn directions on maps by using the carrier’s data network to determine your location. However, this technology may not be as precise as the one based on GPS.

In just a year, Apple has made a significant dent in the high end of the market with 28% market share among smartphones. That’s
against some stiff competition from RIM as well as some dedicated Palm followers. With the new lower prices at $199 for 8MB and $299
for 16MB (assuming a 2 year AT&T contract) I think the iPhone will find its way into the mainstream of end users and enterprise IT.

As a browser, it’s a great device. And with built-in Wi-Fi and a slick user interface, it’s incredibly compelling. Ok, I would still like to see
a slide-out keyboard for email. But I’ve met a lot of folks who don’t seem to mind typing on the virtual keyboard.

The iPhone 2.0 will be available July 11 in the US and then launched around the world in 70 major markets. I suspect they’ll reach the
goal of 10 million iPhones well before year end.

As is the trend lately with touchscrren handsets, the I900 has haptic feedback support, and very few buttons – two call buttons, and a direction pad. For connectivity, you get Wi-Fi, and HSDPA. Apple has apparently received 188 container-ship containers in a North American port. While the new shipments could just be Apple’s continued supply of computers and iPods, there’re rumblings that the containers could indeed hold as many as 40,000 next-generation iPhones each. Apple has historically marked their containers containing desktop computers as, well, “desktop computers. This latest rumor is based on the fact that these containers were marked as holding “electric computers.”
