Halo: Reach Beta

This weekend there have been some people playing the Reach Beta as part of what has been dubbed their “Friends and Family” early beta.
However, ODST owners will be able to access the Reach beta “late morning” PDT on Monday, May 3rd. Just put your ODST campaign disc in and select the Reach Beta menu option.

Bungie and Activision Partnership Announced

Following yesterday’s news about HP acquiring Palm, Bungie and Activision have announced an exclusive worldwide partnership.
Bungie, the studio famous for the Halo franchise has a new 10-year partnership with Activision to bring Bungie’s next big action game universe to market.
It is expected that this will also mean that Bungie’s next projects will be available on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

HP To Acquire Palm

The combination will accelerate HP’s growth within the “more than $100 billion” connected mobile device market.

You may have missed the news that after quite some time the steam interface has been updated. It actually kind of reminds me of the Zune software interface with a nod the the Xbox and certainly looks and feels like a much more modern piece of software.
I’ve not tested it out much yet but I’m sure I’ll get round to it when I have some spare time to play some games. What do you think of it?

Each month Guru3D.com feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows. They again had a LOT of entries coming in in the past five weeks and thank you very much for that. Out of the fifteen most original they in the end randomly picked one.
This rig of the month totally speaks for itself, an outstanding PC build, sheer beauty and then an excellent photo-shoot highlighting the craftsmanship you are about to see.

Pascal den Enting’s PC is the the Rig of The Month April 2010. Meet the dude at the age of 37, he has been building a very interesting game PC .. well game room really. The end result is a beautiful looking PC, and an even more interesting environment
