Miranda Kerr is all smiles at the Louis Vuitton celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Lunar Landing at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday (July 13) in New York City.
The 26-year-old Aussie supermodel latest shoot for David Jones was set in South Australia�s deserts and involved the young model and 15-person crew traveling more than 1500km in three weeks, the Herald Sun reports.
�I love being home in Australia,� Miranda said, despite the fact the shoot was shut down for flooding. �We have such a beautiful country, so why not incorporate it with the beautiful designers we have as well.�

Kate Moss to Sign $80 Million Deal with Simon Cowell

Kate Moss is set to become the world’s richest model thanks to a lucrative new deal she’s about to ink with British mogul Sir Philip Green and TV producer extraordinaire Simon Cowell. The 35-year-old supermodel, pictured above in an ad for Agent Provocateur, is joining forces with the two men on a new $1.6 billion global multi-faceted entertainment company. Green owns the Topshop brand which Moss recently collaborated with for a new collection. Moss will direct the style and image of the as-yet-unnamed empire, as well as give fashion-related branding advice, under the terms of the deal which could net her up to $80 million based on profit-sharing arrangements, the London Daily Mail reports. The sum would double Moss’ fortune giving her a net worth of about $160 million, the paper notes. In essence the plan is to merchandise the hell out of Cowell’s hit TV shows both here and abroad. The prospect of Moss getting involved in the music side of the business has also been floated.

Karolina Kurkova is expecting a baby.
The 25-year-old Czech model is said to be six months pregnant with her first child with her filmmaker fiance Archie Drury.
A representative at Karolina�s agency DNA Models said: �The couple have been together for a little over a year. This is the first child for both.�
Karolina, who can soon be seen starring as Courtney A. Kreiger, an army recruit also known as Cover Girl, in new movie �G.I.Joe: The Rise of the Cobra�, began modeling at 15 and is famous for not having a bellybutton.
At 17 she became one of the youngest models to ever appear on the cover of US style bible Vogue, with editor Anna Wintour reportedly calling her the �next supermodel�.
She is also known for her work with lingerie firm Victoria�s Secrets, and wore a fantasy bra designed by Hearts on Fire and worth about $10 million in the company�s 2002 fashion show.
In 2006, Karolina was again chosen to model the fantasy bra and showcased a $6.5 million creation which was made of 2,000 diamonds.

The Brazilian beauty, who is four months pregnant with her first child, exhibited her burgeoning belly in a clingy blue silk chiffon dress last night.
The lingerie model, 28, showed her pregnancy hadn’t quelled her sexiness as she pouted for photographers at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
Buzz Aldrin, the second man to set foot on the moon in 1969, was guest of honour at the Louis Vuitton party to mark 40 years since Apollo 11 made history.
Louis Vuitton and designer Marc Jacobs have enlisted Aldrin, Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell and the first American female in space, Sally Ride, to star in an advert for the firm to commemorate the 40th anniversary.
The Victoria’s Secret model is expecting her first child with Serbian basketball player husband Marko Jaric, 30, in December.
Adriana fell pregnant within weeks of marrying Marko in a small ceremony in Wyoming on Valentine’s Day.
The model spoke recently of her family plans: ‘I never saw myself being married and having a child. Not because I did not want to. But it’s tough to find somebody.
‘(But after meeting Marko) everything changed. I knew he was the one and I could see myself married with him and with a big family.
‘We are so excited. We wanted this. We were ready. My mom is doing everything and getting things ready.’

Supermodel Agyness Deyn hates fashion

British model Agyness Deyn insists she has no interest in the industry that made her name and won’t pursue a catwalk career forever.
She said: “You know, even though I’m in fashion, I don’t, like, do fashion. Fashion isn’t me, even though I work in it. It’s just materialistic stuff. I just want to do whatever makes me happy.”
The blonde beauty also claims she has never admired anyone else in the fashion industry, looking to 1970s music for her style icons.
She explained: “I liked guys quite a lot - like the Clash, you know, punky guys. Siouxsie and the Banshees, X-Ray Spex.”
Agyness - real name Laura Hollins - has become famed for her unique style, but insists she only takes inspiration from herself.
When asked three people who best encapsulate her personal style, she told the New York Times newspaper: “I’d say myself. I take little bits from loads of different people.”

Heidi Klum was the, ahem, mane attraction when she padded along to a performance of The Lion King on New York’s Broadway at the weekend.
The pregnant supermodel, who’s expecting a cub of her own, was a picture of cuteness as she sidled up to two of the musical’s lead characters.
Heidi was also snapped kissing the lead character of Shrek the musical - though we doubt the green monster will be giving her husband Seal much cause for concern.
Heidi’s bump will be her fourth child and third with her popstar hubby.
She’s already mum to Johan, two, Henry, three and daughter Leni from her previous relationship with Formula One multi-millionaire Flavio Briatore.

Always wanted to dress like a celebrity but your bank balance always screamed no? Well here is your chance.
Supermarket Asda is preparing for a stampede as its version of a designer dress worn by Kate Moss goes on sale today.
The supermodel wore a futuristic Balmain design just a few months ago - and now George at Asda is carrying a similar range for a fraction of the price.
The silver mini-dress with exaggerated shoulder pads retails at ?16 - compared with the Balmain number which costs thousands.
The French fashion label is favoured by a host of celebrities including Victoria
Beckham, Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rihanna, with price tags to match - some of the outfits cost up to ?8,000.
The supermarket is hoping the limited edition dress will be this year’s best-seller, and said it is expecting ‘cat fights in the aisles’.
Fiona Lambert, George brand director, said: ‘At a time of recession when people are finding it hard, we are seeing that people are looking back to the 80s when fashion was fun, loud and over the top.
‘The exaggerated boulder shoulder is the statement of the season. It’s all about super power dressing and OTT glamour.’
Moss, who has a range of clothing at rival clothes firm Topshop, was accused of looking like she was attending a Star Trek convention in April when she stepped out in the Balmain Autumn/Winter 2009 dress, which appeared to split at the seams as she headed home.
The George at Asda dress, made of 67% viscose, 29% metal-effect fibre and 4% elastane, is made in England.

Is that cellulite on Elle Macpherson’s thighs? Even ‘The Body’ can’t escape the ageing process at Jaguar launch

So extraordinary and enviable is her physique, that Elle Macpherson is known as The Body.
Yet at the grand old age of 45, positively ancient in supermodel terms, she appears to be showing the first signs of wear and tear.
Photographed as she attended a glamorous party to launch a new Jaguar car at the Saatchi Gallery in West London, Miss Macpherson wore a short gold dress which showed off her legs fabulously.
On closer inspection, the knee and thigh on the model’s right leg appear to be suffering from the dreaded appearance of sagging loose skin.
The condition, often called ‘creping’ by cosmetic surgeons, is the result of nothing more than the aging of the skin making it less firm and taut.
The effect is particularly prevalent on people who have little fat on their bodies and who have spent much of their lives in sunnier climes, which happens to be the case with Miss Macpherson.
Unfortunately, the fact that the light source is coming from the side rather than from a camera flashbulb in front of her in this picture only appears to exaggerate the effect.
Surgeons who analysed this picture added that the effect is also apparently made worse since the photograph captures the exact moment when the skin on her right thigh is moving over the leg muscle as the weight is transferred from her left to her right leg.
Miss Macpherson, who has two children, is one of the most successful supermodels of her generation and among the very few who have been able to sustain a career while others have fallen by the wayside.
Cosmetic surgeon Alex Karidis said: ‘It’s an unfortunate picture in that it appears to have captured the exact moment during her walking towards camera when the weight is transferring onto the right leg.
‘It is the moment of impact when the skin is travelling over the leg muscle.
‘You probably would not notice the effect on a very young individual but only because the skin quality would be much better.
‘Elle is 45 and has presumably had a lot of sun over the years. She has a lot of freckles and the skin quality has obviously reduced with age.
‘It just goes to show that age gets the better of everyone.
‘The effect - which you can call creping - does happen with age and especially when someone has lived in the sun a lot in California and Australia. Women’s skin also tends to age a little earlier than men’s skin.
‘Creping is also more common in skinnier people. Fat tends to pad out the skin and supports it more.
‘If you have a very low body mass index like Elle does then basically you have skin travelling over muscle with no fat in between.
‘Whereas if she was slightly plumper, she would not have the creping phenomenon as much.’
Cosmetic surgeon Riccardo Frati suggested such a phenomenon was usually associated with dramatic weight loss in patients who has had too much liposuction but that it could have also been the result of sun damage.
There is no suggestion that Miss Macpherson, who has never been overweight, has had liposuction on her legs.
The unfortunate picture was taken last night as the supermodel helped to launch the latest Jaguar.
She wore a glittering ?6,560 Herve Leger bandage dress teamed with a pair of vertiginous Christian Louboutin heels.
While the ensemble was undoubtedly a stunning combination the micro mini and gold sequins could be seen as a rather mutton-dressed-as-lamb look for the forty-five year old.
The Jaguar XJ is the company’s first new model for seven years and was launched last night at London’s Saatchi Gallery.
Elle paraded around on stage with the compere of the evening, U.S. talkshow host Jay Leno, and even expressed an interest in buying the luxury limousine.
If she were to snap up the car, released in showrooms in the New Year, then it would set her back a staggering ?88,000.
However, considering her efforts last night, perhaps the makers might be persuaded to give her one as a gift, or at least get her a discount.
Elle was joined by a host of other stars and was pictured posing with her designer friend Matthew Williamson.
Others on the VIP list included Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her husband Richard Jones from the band The Feeling.
The pair took to the decks and played a DJ set at the event. Sophie looked in great shape, having given birth to her second son, Kit, in February.
Sir Trevor McDonald, TV journalist Eamon Holmes, sports journalist Andrew Castle and members of Spandau Ballet - including lead singer Tony Hadley - and former Eastenders stars Shane Ritchie were among other guests.
Unveiling the car, host Leno said he had been a fan of the Marque since childhood and was pleased that the latest XJ model had a sporty new look that would appeal to a younger generation.

Wearing a pair of trendy shades, denim shorts, which revealed her tanned legs, and a stripy smock top which flattered her perfectly-formed bump, Heidi Klum looked the very model of the cool on a day out in New York City.
The supermodel, who is expecting her fourth child, was on another family day out in the city with her mother Erna and three children yesterday.
The 36-year-old, was seen out with Johan, two, and Henry, three - her sons with singer husband Seal, and daughter Leni from her previous relationship with millionaire Flavio Briatore. Heidi and her family who have been busy exploring the city’s parks over the past few weeks enjoyed some quality time together before welcoming her new baby, said to be a girl, in the autumn.
Apart from family life, all seems to be going well in her career too.
Her popular show Project Runway will return to American TV next month and the recent Heidi Klum edition of German Vogue sold more than any other issue of the magazine this year.
In addition to that, she’s set to be immortalised in the form of a special edition Barbie doll.
The former Victoria’s Secret model will feature in an exclusive range of Barbies called the Blonde Ambition Collection to mark the toy brand’s 50th birthday, it has been reported.
