Demonstrated experience in the management of moderate to complex projects and an in-depth knowledge of project management software.  Very comfortable using personal computers and office automation software including word processing, spreadsheet and database.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to a demonstrated ability to bridge the terminology gap between IS and front-line staffs.

  

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in IS environment.  Project Management 

methodology training required.

Carry out planning, estimating, scheduling, resource loading, budgeting, cost tracking, risk analysis and mitigation, scope management, and business requirements analysis for software development, software enhancement, and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) integration projects.  Manage 3rd party relationships with vendors and suppliers. Qualifications

Qualified Candidate Description: Must have current verifiable PMI PMP Certification having progressive project management experience on Fixed Price, Time &amp; Materials, and Level of Effort projects in the IT sector.  Demonstrated successful budget and schedule completion of multiple full lifecycle Software Development projects.  Experience with Software Development Processes such as SDLC, CMMI, ISO9001 and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is helpful. Experience developing comprehensive, robust Project Management Plans including detailed budget and schedule estimates. Modis is seeking a Pharmacy Program Manager who will provide Project Management to support Pharmacy upgrade for a PC refresh project. Drive effective risks and issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used. Ensure problems are resolved and escalated as appropriate. 

Responsibilities

•	Provide Project Management to support Pharmacy upgrade. 
•	Act as liaison between Business Units, Program Management Team and Deployment Team for tasks issuance. 
•	Build matrixed project/deployment teams and document and communicate roles and responsibilities. 
•	Perform network port analysis (approximately 37 sites) to ensure we have the proper capacity for System Deployment. 
•	Identify all associated Issues and Risks and assign to appropriate party for resolution. 
•	Work with the operations group (ECS) to ensure production readiness and operational turnover. 
•	Coordinate project activities with other program and project managers. 
•	Deliver status and other project reporting covering key activities, milestones, status and dependencies routinely as defined by the Program Manager. 
•	Drive effective risks and issues management, ensuring processes are in place and effectively used. Ensure problems are resolved and escalated as appropriate. 
•	Coordinate and co/manage Desktop refresh of approximately 450 PC’s (and peripherals.. i.e., scanners, label printers, etc). 
•	Track project milestones and deliverables. 
•	Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. 
•	Continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 
•	Will be required to drive a personal motor vehicle in the course of the work. 

Skills/Experience: 

•	10 years of Project/Process Management. 
•	Experience in personnel management or leading a team. 
•	Planning, organizing, supervising, reviewing and evaluating the work of others. 
•	Technically competent with various software programs, such as MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office. 
•	Ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments. 
•	Strong written and oral communication skills. 
•	Strong interpersonal skills. 
•	Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

This position requires a driven individual with demonstrated success in project management. You will be required to plan, lead and motivate design teams, development teams, and QA teams working to replace key computer systems for Blue Shield’s business. The successful candidate must be a team player and enjoy working with other people on challenging projects.

Responsibilities include: 

• Directly leads and manages projects throughout all project stages in the areas of communication, schedule, budget, resources, scope, risk, and issues.

Responsible for leading project teams and managing activities associated with projects that are typically cross-department or organizational entity-wide in scope. 

• Work effectively with cross functional staff, including IT, other project managers, and multiple levels of leadership, business partners, and vendors as necessary.

• Develop and revise complex project plans and budgets, work with stakeholders and team members to understand problems, focus on bringing issues to resolution, and escalate as necessary to meet timelines.

• Responsible for leading the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resource needs, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting interim deadlines of project.

• Prioritize workload to keep projects on track.

• Responsible for understanding problems, bringing issues to resolution, and escalating as necessary to meet timelines.


Requirements: 

• Bachelors degree and 8-12 years of relevant product management experience in health care or related industry.

• Experience with PPO, HMO and/or Facets project management highly desirable

• Strong knowledge of health care business.

• PMP preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and concurrent projects.

• Demonstrated skills in resource organization, project/task prioritization and schedule development.

• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.

• Demonstrated ability of project management in large system implementations

• Ability to serve as a change agent and influence behavior across departmental lines and at multiple levels.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including effective delivery of executive level reports and in-person presentations.

• Strong user skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, Word, Sharepoint

• Successful partnering and collaboration skills.

• Test and conversion project management experience preferred.

• Healthcare experience in PPO or HMO as Project Manager.

• Manger work stream from beginning to end. 

• Be able to engage stakeholders and work with the business on information updates, budget and timelines.
