Good expertise in atleast 2 scripting languages  (PHP, Perl, Python, ruby  etc). By good expertise we mean the candidate should be able to start writing the code on Day one when we give him the requirement. We expect him to write process/service level execution scripts where other process can communicate to over the web &amp; cmdline. Also also provide API to  reuse it internally.  
Good understanding of system administration which will be required when working with our cloud environment. Again the resource should be able to write scripts/services to work with any cloud API using perl  or PHP or python or ruby.  
Automating any give manual workflow. The candidate should be able to understand a given workflow / process and automate it using scripts. Eg scripts to do custom monitoring of devices, scripts to act with configuration management tools etc. 
The above list will be the core  he/she will be working on most of the time. Also some level of system administration will help the team when we are short on resource on day-to-day activity like troubleshooting or fine tuning servers.

Position: Linux Systems Engineer with scripting experience in Python or Ruby

This Project is to support internal cloud development.  Will be working with RedHat, RHEL, Ubuntu, OpenSource tools and HP-UX.  They will be doing system installs, scripting, development support, debugging Linux, server side Networking on the Linux side, etc.  Looking for individuals who are strong in Linux and have strong scripting in Python or Ruby. This resource will work on active directory, MS Servers, Linux Servers, and other platforms, performing administration, analysis, data gathering, documentation, and implementation of tasks associated with NERC CIP standards, Self Reports, Mitigation Plans, compliance assessments, and other compliance related workload.
 
A qualified candidate must have a minimum of 6+ years administering MS and Linux server environments. Be proficient with active directory administration, ports and services, backup/recovery, anti-virus deployment, MS Windows Server Update Services patching, Redhat Linux, Linux patching, Server Installations, and Security Assessments. Candidates must be proficient at documentation using word, excel, visio, and power point. 
If you are an interested Candidate, you must be willing to learn NERC CIP standards, our internal processes, be trained on NERC CIP and submit to an extensive background check to be certified to work in our environment.  Strong verbal communication skills, People skills, and Team skills are required. 
We are looking for 6+ years of Experience. Most likely candidates would have a BS degree in Computer Science. Experience will be given consideration for the right skill set.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

The Windows Systems Administrator will be working in a team environment and be responsible for coordinating and supporting all technology our client’s global organization.  

Daily responsibilities will include:
-	Working with internal customers to gather technology requirements and deliver hardware and software in a timely manner 
-	Providing senior-level technical administration and support on Windows Server, Windows PCs / Laptops, IIS, VPNs, 
-	Configuring AD group policies and domains
-	Remotely logging on to customers workstations using RDP and Citrix to provide technical support


REQUIRED SKILLS 
- Associates Degree with 5+ years IT experience
- Skilled in administration, configuration and support of Wintel Platforms and Client/Server Architecture
- Excellent hands-on experience supporting application interaction to Wintel infrastructure platforms
- Strong VMWare ESX 3.5
- Strong Citrix experience
- Intermediate hands-on experience with IIS
- Some exposure to security and encryption using VeriSign, DigiCert or similar SSL certificates.
