Get Ready for ABC Family’s ‘Baby Daddy’ June 20th!

ABC Family’s new original comedy series ‘Baby Daddy‘ is coming to a TV screen near you on Wednesday, June 20 at 8:30pm ET/PT. The series is about a young man who becomes a surprise dad to a baby girl when she’s left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend.

“Baby Daddy” follows Ben (Bilodeau), a young man in his early 20’s living the life of a bachelor as a bartender in New York City with his buddy Tucker (Mowry) and his brother, a professional hockey player, Danny (Theler). Their lives turn upside down when they come home one day to find a baby girl left on his doorstep by an ex-girlfriend. After much deliberation, Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his friends and his protective and sometimes over-bearing mother Bonnie (Peterman) and his close female friend, Riley (Kane), who has had a secret crush on him since childhood. Riley used to be the overweight girl next door who they called “fatpants,” but she has now blossomed into a beautiful young woman in law school. Riley’s hopeful that Ben will finally take notice, but she doesn’t realize that Ben’s brother, Danny, is harboring a secret crush on her.

Coming to ABC Family Sunday, June 3rd at 7pm ET/PT is ‘The Last Song’, starring real-life couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. This is the movie where the two met and instantly hit it off. You can definitely see the chemistry between the two actors in this movie and we love it!

The film is part of the Nicholas Sparks Marathon that includes “A Walk to Remember” at 1:30pm and “The Notebook” at 4:00pm ET/PT.

The Last Song

“The Last Song” is set in a small Southern beach town where estranged father Steve (Kinnear), and emotionally closed off daughter Ronnie (Cyrus), try to reconnect with the help of their shared love for music. Ronnie begins to let down her guard when she meets Will (Hemsworth), who teaches her that life is about family, love, and second chances. Based on the Nicholas Sparks’ novel of the same name. Cyrus’ song, “When I Look at You,” is featured in the movie.

Adam Hicks Makes His Pair of Kings Debut This June

From the moment fans heard Mitchel Musso was leaving Disney XD’s series ‘Pair of Kings‘ and actor Adam Hicks was joining the cast, we’ve all been wondering when and what the story line would look like. Well, the wait is over. Season 3 of Pair of Kings premieres June 18th!

The New Season of Pair of Kings

The new season introduces popular actor Adam Hicks (Disney XD’s “Zeke and Luther,” Disney Channel’s “Lemonade Mouth”) as a new cast member playing the role of Boomer’s long, lost triplet brother, Boz and also includes notable guest appearances by Hayley Hasselhoff (“Huge”), Karan Brar (“Jessie”) and Mike “The Miz” Mizanin (“WWF Raw,” “WWE Smackdown!”), among others.

In the season three premiere, “The New King Part One: Destiny’s Child,” Boomer tries to follow Brady when he learns that he has left the island for good, but a storm forces him to stay behind. That same storm sinks a nearby island, sending its inhabitants to Kinkow, including their king who turns out to be Boomer’s long, lost triplet brother, Boz.

Season three will follow Boomer and Boz as they get to know one another and learn to work together through hilarious and sometimes perilous adventures that include adopting the ten “bro-mandments,” finding a baby near the Dark Side, dubbing Lanny king of his very own island called Lanada, a summer vacation cruise that goes awry, and much more.

Pair of Kings Online Game

Beginning Friday, June 8, DisneyXD.com will launch a new “Pair of Kings” game called “Pyramid of Puzzles,” where players control both Boomer and Boz as they traverse a number of levels in a giant pyramid maze in order to rescue Mason. Players will need to slide blocks, trigger traps, zap enemies with magic scepters, and use their kingly brain powers to get through each level.

Gravity Falls: Premiering in June, this clever, unexpected approach to animated comedy is helmed by its creator, executive-producer/director Alex Hirsch, a 2007 Cal Arts graduate. His college short, “Off the Wall,” garnered attention from notable animation blogs Drawn! and Cartoon Brew, as well as Cold Hard Flash. He subsequently worked as a writer/storyboard artist on “The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack” and developed Disney Channel’s “Fish Hooks.” He is also the voice of Clamantha on that series. His ingenious new series “Gravity Falls” follows twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel, whose summer plans are ruined when their parents ship them off to spend the summer with their Great Uncle Stan in the very strange town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. The voice cast is: Jason Ritter (“Parenthood”), Kristen Schaal (“Flight of the Conchords,” “Toy Story 3″) and Alex Hirsch. It is a production of Disney Television Animation.

Emma Watson Is A 2012 MTV Movie Awards Presenter

It was just announced that Harry Potter star Emma Watson will be a presenter at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Emma is a nominee herself for Best Kiss in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2!

Not only has Emma been nominated for Best Kiss with her fellow Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, but also for Best Female Performance and Movie of the Year.

Disney XD’s ‘Lab Rats’ Is Coming Back for Season 2

Have you had a chance to see Disney XD‘s new series ‘Lab Rats‘? I have a particular 8 year old who absolutely loves the show, so he was thrilled when I told him it would be coming back for a second season!

Deadline broke the news on Friday. Lab Rats is a sci-fi comedy about a teenager who lands the ultimate wish fulfillment when he gets three super-human step-siblings. It stars Billy Unger, Spencer Boldman, Kelli Berglund, Tyrel Jackson Williams and Hal Sparks.

Spencer Boldman broke the news on Twitter saying, “Can’t wait to film more episodes for you guys!” with a link to the Deadline article.

Taylor Swift is the Youngest Ever to Have Received Billboard’s Woman of the Year Award

Taylor Swift made history last night as the youngest to have ever received Billboard Music‘s coveted award Woman of the Year. Taylor attended the 2012 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 20th) in Las Vegas. The awards were held at the MGM Grand.

Kris Kristofferson opened the tribute to Taylor and Zooey Deschanel also came out to acknowledge Taylor’s philanthropic efforts. Taylor thanked her fans saying “I’m so humbled and honored by this.”

Justin Bieber Performs ‘Boyfriend’ at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards

Justin Bieber walked the carpet solo at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards while his girlfriend Selena Gomez is busy filming a movie in Bulgaria. The singer attended the awards show last night (May 20th), which was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Justin took home the award for Top Social Artist and when he took to the stage to accept the award, he thanked Usher, his parents, his fans and God, but there was no mention of Selena, which leaves some speculating the couple have broken up.

While accepting the award, Justin said “The Internet is where I got my start, and all my fans have helped me get to this position”.

Not only did Justin Bieber perform his hit new single ‘Boyfriend’, but so did his mentor Usher, his protegee Carly Rae Jepsen and his buddies The Wanted. When asked about all of them performing at the awards show he said, “I think it’s great, you know all of us together here and having a good time — I don’t think I [could] be in a better place.”

Miley Cyrus Rocks a White Suit Jacket at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards

The fashion world was all a buzz when Miley Cyrus showed up at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards in a men’s white suit jacket, that she wore as a dress. The singer and actress attended the awards show last night (May 20th), which was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Miley chatted with ABC News Radio about new music she’s been working on and how she loves coming to the Billboards due to all of the genres of music.

She said,”It’s amazing — there are so many unique artists. It’s so nice when you get away from something that’s specifically country or hip-hop or pop or whatever it is, you know, and it’s just all the different artists and celebrating them.”

She added, “Especially now [that] a lot of the artists have passed away, being able to celebrate them and their life and the music, and carrying that on, is awesome.”

Adele dominated the 2012 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 20th) which were held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. She walked away with 12 awards in the following categories: Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Digital Media Artist, Top Pop Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Pop Album, Top Streaming Song (Audio) and Top Alternative Song.
