Yesterday I slept for a complete 10+ hours and didn’t felt active after I woke up until I just read now that Google will release its own OS, so after all this rumors of a Google OS it turned to be true, alot of people didn’t believe this rumors (I am one of them) but when Google released a web browser I changed my mind

I was reading an article on TechCrunch about the new video capabilities of the iPhone 3GS (which I am getting soon), and at the end; the article mentioned Flip Video Camera and how the new iPhone video capabilities will kill the Flip Video.

Well IMHO it is killing the Flip Video right now just after a short period of the release of the iPhone 3GS as YouTube is receiving a thousands of videos from the iPhone “We’re already seeing thousands of uploads from new iPhones” Hunter Walk, the Director of Product Management at YouTube, told TechCrunch.

But why I am talking about it? Well because I am one of the people who was planning to get a Flip video camera but after seeing what iPhone 3GS can do; it is not in my wish list anymore, the main reason for that is that no one like the hassle of transferring the data from your video camera to your computer then upload it even with the exist of feature in Flip like FlipShare which make it easy to share the content directly, but who can beat uploading the video straightly from the device?

Resolution? I think most people don’t care when sharing videos in social website, specially when you need to compress your videos sometimes due to the limitation of the websites or your connection speed, and who wants also to carry an other device beside the phone? at least I am sure the FlipUltra is dead because if someone will prefer Flip Camera over the iPhone, will prefer it perior to its HD recording capibalities which FlipUltra don’t have.

The situation is not that miserable for Flip company “Cisoc Systems”, but considering my situation: I was ready to pay even a 300$ easily for the Flip but a I drawback now because I know I will not use it when I have my iPhone mostly because I don;t have much time to connect the Flip and upload the videos.

BUT in the same time, the extra portability and clarity of the flip cameras, I mean if I was having more free time I would defentilly get a flip to capture most of the things even if I have the 3GS or maybe iPhone 4 because first I don’t want my iPhone battery to be drained because of video only if I likes video recording that much

It is dead simple: 3G+WiFi to upload the video is much easier than connecting + PC to upload

Anyway, I think I would like to have a Flip as a gift to see if I missed something

Nowadays time is passing quickly on everyone more than before because of the fast lane of life, so people tries to manage their time and they succeeded in the past, and many students are working a part time or full time job, any extra time you can offer is much needed but currently it is hard to keep everything under control unless you found some magic method or tool to help you, but guess what it is available… it is technology…

Beside the phone calls and text messages most mobile phone have an other features like an organizer linked with a calendar to add to it your important events and dates, works great for reminding you with the upcoming tests and the deadline for your assignments with the help of a reminder, and notes also are available to keep on it the information you get on the fly from here and there, and if you have a little bit advanced device you can download external applications into it to get more and more.

But technology is not limited to the mobile phones only, unleash your power online with the hundreds of available web services, get more used to the rss feeds to get more information in less time, where you can also use online rss reader like “Google Reader” to manage and view your feeds from anywhere, the same applies to “Google Documents” which is same as Office suites but entirely available online, so you can access your documents from anywhere, anytime, also on multimedia side if you want to share a video, “vimeo” is a great online video sharing service for free !

Also have fun using the technology, connect with your friends thought the different social networks, and try unique and cool services such as twitter !

And don’t forge the desktop based solutions, not only what we use regularly,there are multiple good applications which will help you organize your time, like Office Project to organize everything and Office Visio to draw what you are planning to do using diagrams easily.

I just gave a few examples of using the technology, you can discover more and share it with your friends, as for the technology there is no limit, and beware while you are in, don’t let the technology use you !

Okey , you might think I am a Google fan or something , due to the services I use from Google , and you can consider this post as a proof !

But why I am a Google fan ? Simply because It is making my eLife better & better , and this why I wrote this introduction , because if you saw this video “The story behind Google Chrome” you will hear from the developers of Chrome that they are trying to make the web better , and after giving it a try for 30 minutes , it is .

The first thing you will fell is how fast the browser is , as a common feature of most of Google products , then again you will notice an other thing , I mean the same thing ~ HOW FAST IT IS !

I will not go through other features , because a lot of bloggers reviewed the main features , and video reviews are all over the web but I will mention the improved things over other browsers ( features ) ,which no body noticed yet , like my past experiement of Windows Vista , I noticed a lot of small improvments here & there , which made my life easier ( like if you choosed to show file extensions ~a notepad file named “myList” will be “myList.txt” you will notice previouslly in Windows XP if you tried to rename that file , Windows will highlight the whole file name with it’s extension , and rarly someone needs to chgange the extension , but in Windows Vista it will highlight the name only without the extension , I know it is a tiny thing , but Vista is loaded with stuff like that and Chrome as well )

For example :
In Firefox a lot of people uses password manager to save their time & mind from going crazy if they have a chain of passwords , but the thing is , in Firefox if there is some login form , after you click the submit button , it will ask you if want to remember your password , neitherless your entered the correct password or not , which will confuse a lot of people , they will think ” ok I want to remember the password if it is correct , but I am not sure if it is ” ( I was one of them , but I am not using the feature anymore due to security issue , take care of that seriously )

Other noticable thing is the Flash Player plugin , I don’t know how exactlly this is working , but if you logged on to youtube , Glad Mobile or any website use flash it will work directlly without downloading any plugin !!! I am not sure if it will take the source from Firefox or will download the plugin in the background , I have to test that on a fresh windows .

Information for web developers :
We are all waiting to start test our pages on the new browser , how it will be rendered ? but here are the good news !!! if you was a good web developer , and you was testing your webpage on Safari and it was looking good , then go and celebrate because if your page rendered well on Safari 3.1 then your site should already work well on Google Chrome , because it is built from open source components like WebKit which the same engine used to build Safari. The funny thing that if you checked the browser stabllity from here ( open it using Chrome ) it will identify your browser as Safari :
Current Browser Version:AppleMAC-Safari 5.0 
After seeing it I felt like Google brought Safari , and nulled it to be more faster !

I will be using both Firefox & Chrome , as my most important add-ons are on Firefox , as well as the community is waiting this add-ons to be available to Chrome , then I think a lot of people will shift to Chrome , so tell me , will you ?
