Over the last few weeks we’ve had a great opportunity to help a special client discover, create & strategize his online presence. We were approached by S. Parker Smith in hopes to have us help him build his personal & business brand online.

Today, Parker is revolutionizing the Lease Option market with this down economy offline but had no idea the potential reach he had bringing his passion online. Parker has the hustle & drive to really breakthrough his niche as long as we gave him the right tools and methods to do so. After just a few short strategy sessions with the MOJOnomic crew, we have a plan in place to make that happen.

Getting the MOJO Process Underway

We started Parker off by really solidifying what his MOJO was and we unleashed him on setting up a few social profiles with Twitter, LinkedIN, Facebook etc. We showed Parker how important consistency is with his profiles to match his personal brand. We did this as the first step to give us time to brainstorm ideas on how he wanted to create and use his personal site along side his business site. Within that short amount of time and using these social networks with a “value-add” mentality he’s seen great results already.

Getting over 300 twitter followers

Built lasting relationships within his niche

Experiencing qualified traffic to his site.

Take time to watch this video as we breakdown this experience thus far. We show how we’ve built his personal website, logo & tagline to promote his personal brand. The next parts will include more statistics, progress on his business brand/site and share results that he’s now experiencing in such a short time frame.

Are you Insprired to build your brand?

We hope this video inspires you to go out there with your MOJO, share your passion and using these new age marketing methods to get ahead of your competition.

Need help building your Online Presence?

Over the past few weeks there’s been so much talk about Microsofts new search engine, Bing. With Microsofts mound of cash backing their advertising campaigns, their sleek new look and hype, Bing has seen some INCREDIBLE growth so far.

Obviously, if this trend continues, Yahoo! & Google will start to share more of the market that they’ve grown so accustomed to having all to themselves.

On the other hand, will Bing really keep it up? Don’t you think they were hoping for the same thing to happen with Live? Whatever happen to last years search engine Cuil? Wasn’t that suppose to take over Google?

The bottom line is this. Switching search engines is pretty painless to do, but haven’t we all made it a habit to just “Google It”?

How will Bing find a way to make people stop Googlin’ It and start Bingin’ It?

Are you looking for an awesome screen capturing software? Use what we MOJOnomic uses… Screenflow.

We are asked quite a bit what software we use to edit our MOJOnomic videos. Short and sweet… We use a software called Screenflow.

I have decided to take a moment to show you a few tips and tricks on how to use Screenflow. This Screenflow Tutorial video is about 10 minutes long. I tried to make it straight forward and to the point. In this video I cover several different components to screenflow:

Adding Media - Such as Images for Branding and Music to make it fun.

Transitioning Images & Music to different sections of the video

Scaling and shifting your recordings throughout the screen to make it more user friendly for the viewer.

If I missed something you have a question about or you need more explination, please leave a comment and I’ll be sure to follow up.

Intro song to this video I used was - Jonny Lang: Lie To Me (It’s a Dope Song)

Everyone has such a unique story and sharing your story on how you got where you are today will be interesting to people that can relate to you. In the online world, finding a way to get your viewers to relate to you will help you set yourself apart from everyone else.

Ultimately, when you leave this place, your legacy is all that will stay so be sure to focus on yourself

Often times it’s tough to think of new & creative niches to get into. Even if you’re a step ahead and you’ve found your niche, how do you know what you’re getting into and what’s the competition like? In this video I’ll show a few ways to find and explore different niches around the internet.

If you’re into paid search like I am, you have paid or subscription based keyword tools and you have the skill sets to research the landscape and how competitive it is. Well guess what? I understand not everyone’s forte is paid search and not everyone buys keyword tools. That’s why I am here to show you how to do it all for free from a reliable source.

What’s the source? Google’s new Search-Based Keyword Tool. Can you think of a better source to get this info from? I didn’t think so.

What are you’re thoughts? Any helpful ideas I forgot to mention?

We spend quite a bit of time putting these videos together so any type of feedback or taking the time to leave a comment is much appreciated. You can just leave a comment telling us how cool we are… that’s always nice to hear.

Branding, Marketing, and Selling are all natural.

Problems occur when we try to fake it or we don’t realize we are branding at all. Whether your a business owner or not you’re branding. Always, always, always. We are broadcasting on the air 24-7. What are you broadcasting? Forget radio ads or commercials on tv, you are broadcasting to the entire world, what are you saying?

I’m on your channel.

So I’m here on your channel you have 10 seconds to catch my attention… I’m picking up a mixed signal… What is it you want me to know about you? You love your life? Why do you look like you haven’t slept in a while and your stressed out?

Let’s all get real and be authentic with each other, our brand is not our company it is us. Natural, raw, and unpolished.

Funny… Oh how funny. What we preach here at Mojonomic is finally getting into peoples heads. As I was on Twitter tonight I saw a lot of talk about how bad people hate those automatic direct messages they get after they follow someone. I even saw a link to a Mashable article, Do you Hate Automatic Direct Messages?

If you’re new to Mojonomic or haven’t read our content in depth, we can’t tell our readers enough just how important it is to be genuine with your social media efforts. That means NO AUTOMATION. Yes, it’s easier to have some software automatically message your followers on Twitter, but it’s the wrong way to go about your social media. I’m sure you have followed someone and 5 minutes later you get an message like this:

“Hey, Thanks for Following! Check out my blog - http://www.youlovespam.com… blah blah blah”

Have you ever stop to think about how annoying that is to your new follower? What are you, some kind of robot? People aren’t dumb and they are going to figure it out really quick.

If you’re already automating a simple message to your followers, I can’t imagine what else you’ll do. Let me repeat myself with what we try and teach our readers.

Social media is about transparency, being genuine, honest and simply being social. Wow, how about that, being social on a social network. Going the automated route isn’t being Social. It’s flat out lazy and doesn’t set yourself apart from anyone else. Whoever you are, you’re different then anyone else on Twitter or any other social network. So why not show that? Automating your social media efforts takes away your personality.

In the future, keep this in mind. You’ll have much more interactive following or network. The time you take to put yourself out there and be social will pay you back over and over.

What are you thoughts?
