Moldova to buy anti-flu drugs from Switzerland

The Moldovan government has decided to purchase 500,000 dozes of antiviral medicines, worth 40m lei (3.5m US dollars), from Switzerland. Prime Minister Vlad Filat said that the number of doses to be purchased in Switzerland will cover 30 per cent of Moldova's needs. US military praising policewoman who wounded shooter at Fort Hood

The second lethal case of swine flu has been registered in Moldova. The victim is a 35-year-old man who has recently returned from Russia.
