SHEIN is a controversial fast-fashion platform notorious for unbelievably cheap clothing.

Judging by people who have purchased and commented on social media, quality can be an issue. Some liken it to the Temu of clothing.

No one expected to see what strongly appears to be Luigi Mangione modeling for SHEIN.

Given SHEIN’s long list of controversies, we know that they have a history of attention-grabbing scandals. But … what in the world is this?

In case you need a reminder, Luigi is a young man who rose from anonymity to fame in late 2024 after he was accused of the fatal shooting of UnitedHealth CEO Brian Thompson.

Aside from the Epstein scandal, one struggles to think of a topic more unifying across the political aisle in these polarized times.

Americans have strong feelings about health insurance companies in our hellish dystopia.

That said, Luigi has not yet had his trial, and prosecutors have proven nothing. Therefore, it remains inappropriate to label him a “hero” as many have done.

Is that really him?

To be blunt, there’s simply no way that this is actually Luigi Mangione in the SHEIN ad.

He remains in jail awaiting his trial.

Though he has a groundswell of support from across the nation, that’s unlikely to get him some sort of work release to pose in clothes.

Besides, close scrutiny of the photos shows that it doesn’t look quite right. Some believe that it’s a model who only strongly resembles Luigi.

Others believe that the image may be genAI slop, potentially stealing Luigi’s likeness to promote a shirt.

Whatever is going on, SHEIN was using — past tense, was using — Luigi’s famously handsome face to advertise $11 shirts. Whether it’s genAI slop or a lookalike, the resemblance is staggering.

On theory is that SHEIN is employing some creative marketing. If you take a famous, hot face and plaster it onto a digital model, you’re going to attract attention.

Relatedly, the company could be deliberately chasing controversy. Even if you’ve never met such a person in real life, there are people who believe that Luigi is a “bad guy.”

The Trump administration hopes to kill him, which should be enough to remind anyone of which side is right.

This apparently deleted ad could also have been an accident

The third option is, to be blunt, that this could be an accident. A tired, overworked SHEIN employee (remember, this is a company for whom labor violations and slavery-related allegations come up multiple times) feediing prompts to whichever god-awful genAI program to generate models might just say “handsome 20-year-old man.”

GenAI is a plagiarism machine, scanning real faces, photos, writing, art work and more in order to churn out slop. It’s conceivable that it selected Luigi Mangione solely for his handsomeness.

Employees might not have recognized that the program stole the face of a famous guy.

That, of course, is purely speculation. Whatever happened, as of Wednesday morning, links to the ad page no longer showed Luigi’s face, as you can see above.

This is a positive development. Any company seeking to profit from Luigi’s handsome countenance should pay him to do so.

It’s been over two months since Ozzy Osbourne passed away, but the rock legend is still making tabloid headlines on a regular basis.

This week’s Ozzy-related controversy stems from comments made by fellow rock legend Roger Waters.

The Pink Floyd frontman has never been one to hold back, and he recently offered some harsh remarks about Ozzy’s musical ability and onstage antics.

Now, Ozzy’s only son, Jack Osbourne, is lashing out at Waters in his father’s defense.

During a recent appearance on the “Independent Ink” podcast, Waters offered some surprising remarks about Ozzy.

“We’ll never know, we didn’t, you know? Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense.”

Waters went on to say that he didn’t “give a f—k” about Ozzy’s music or his band.

“I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did,” he explained. “I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”

When the host pointed out that Ozzy actually bit the head off a bat, Waters joked, “That’s even worse, isn’t it?”

In case his intentions somehow weren’t clear, Jack also added a clown emoji.

For many, the situation brought to mind the recent feud between Kelly Osbourne and Becky Lynch over comments the latter made about Ozzy.

(Lynch’s remarks, for the record, were not nearly as insulting as those made by Waters.)

In both cases, many commenters supported the Osbourne family, while others encouraged Ozzy’s offspring to focus on the positive aspects of his life and legacy.

“He was so many things to so many people, but I was so lucky and blessed to be apart of a very small group that got to call him ‘Dad,’” Jack wrote on his social media pages last month.

“My heart is full of so much sadness and sorrow, but also so much love and gratitude. I got 14,501 days with that man and I know that is such a blessing.”

Roger Waters has yet to respond to Jack’s provocation — but we wouldn’t be surprised if he replies very soon.

“It was horrible and sad and it broke my heart and it took me years to recover,” Guthrie said when asked why she’s usually tight-lipped on the topic of her divorce.

“And I’m not blaming anyone, but I don’t really want to get into it, you know.”

Guthrie scarcely made mention of her divorce in the religious memoir she published last year.

“It’s the one thing I didn’t want to talk about,” she said of that decision, adding that while she wanted her audience to know she “experienced adversity,” she didn’t want to tell them “the depths of that.”

“Some of it was just too personal and too embarrassing. Which I basically said,” she continued.

Savannah’s happily ever after

These days, Guthrie is happily married to Michael Feldman, her husband of 11 years.

“I met him very soon after getting separated and divorced so I was like, ‘Here’s what’s never going to happen.’ So it took a long long time, but we talked about it because of our differing faiths and because my faith is so important to me,” she explained.

“We dated for five and a half years, wait for it because a lot of reasons, and we both had commitment issues for our own reasons,” Guthrie recalled.

“All I know is that I’m trying to have integrity in my faith with my children and in my family, and Mike is there with me allowing me to do that.”

In February, Guthrie opened up about meeting Feldman and having children later in life.

“When I was 36, I got divorced. I wasn’t married long. That was a huge disappointment. I was pretty sure that I had lost my opportunity and more or less ruined my life,” she told Us Weekly.

“All I ever really wanted was to fall in love, be a mom and have a family. I don’t know if it’s acceptable to admit these days, but that’s kind of how I was. I wanted to do something important and meaningful, but I really wanted a family,” Guthrie went on.

These days, of course, Savannah is living the life she dreamed of.

She and Feldman are parents to two children, and by all accounts, they’re ecstatic in the life they’ve built together.

Aniston and Pitt got married in 2000 and divorced in 2005.

The same year the spouses called things off, Pitt moved on with Jolie… and the new couple even posed for pictures together in a spread for W magazine, titled “Domestic Bliss,” depicting them as married with kids.

In the wake Pitt and Jolie’s 2005 photoshoot was released, Aniston told Vanity Fair shortly after, “There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing.”

Christine opens up about how and why her relationship with Meri Brown fell apart.

“We followed her rules when she was around to keep the peace, but her rules felt punitive and unfair. I had to make a decision about what was best for me and my family within a family, and it changed our relationship forever.”

“One day, the kids went to the store. [My daughter] Mykelti, who was about eight, went up to the cash register, and she was maybe ten cents short. It was little-kid stuff — she was probably buying candy.

“The cashier, who knew us, spotted her the dime. No big deal. But Meri’s Leon, who was also just a little kid –maybe nine — told Meri about it. Meri lost her mind.”

Christine went on:

“She was mad that Mykelti had embarrassed her in front of the cashier, and that she had embarrassed Leon. She yelled at Mykelti, who couldn’t understand what she had done wrong. I couldn’t either.”

As a result, Christine writes “that was the day, after a series of too many similar experiences, I ended my friendship with Meri.

“I’d had enough, and my mama bear came roaring.”

Indeed, Christine says she didn’t just sit back and let her kids suffer (in her opinion) at the hands of her then-sister wife.

Writes the TLC personality of how she responded back in the day to Meri:

“‘Don’t talk to my kids,’ I yelled. ‘I don’t want you near them. I don’t want you to come downstairs anymore. Our relationship is done!'”

To be clear, this interaction took place a long time ago.

Ben Marshall has been appearing on SNL for several years as a member of the comedy troupe Please Don’t Destroy.

But now, the 30-year-old actor and comic will be appearing in sketches alongside the main cast.

It’s unclear why Marshall’s scene/writing partners weren’t promoted along with him (it’s possible that they’re both content with their current gigs), but interestingly, Marshall is the only member of PDD with no familial ties to the industry.

(John Higgins is the son of SNL producer and Jimmy Fallon sidekick Steve Higgins, while Martin Herlihy is the son of frequent Adam Sandler collaborator Tim Herlihy.)

Josh is currently serving his 151-month sentence on federal child sex-abuse materials (CSAM) charges.

He downloaded photos and video that evil men made of terrible things happening to young girls — and, fortunately, he put all of his effort into hiding his efforts from his wife and not from the United States government.

Why suddenly let the kids resurface now?

This past winter, we reported that Anna Duggar is working a controversial new job. This is the job in question.

And yes, the breeding and selling of dogs is deeply polarizing.

But one supposes that Anna has no actual life skills or professional qualifications or education to speak of, and cannot possibly have more stigma than she does by remaining married to her evil husband.

For millions of Americans, Labor Day weekend is a time to bid the summer adieu with a few cold ones.

Unfortunately, some folks enjoy one cold one too many and then get behind the wheel.

That’s allegedly what happened (or something along those lines) with Succession star Nicholas Braun, who was arrested for DUI in New Hampshire over the weekend.

Cousin Greg’s awkward weekend

According to a report obtained by People magazine, Braun was pulled over and taken into custody on suspicion of “DUI-impairment” by police in Moultonborough.

Braun, who portrayed fan favorite Cousin Greg on the hit HBO drama, has yet to publicly comment on the situation.

He was released on his own recognizance and was not required to post bail.

Insiders say no mugshot was taken as the police department’s camera wasn’t functioning on the night of his arrest.

It’s a lucky break for the 37-year-old star who will likely find it that much easier to move on from this situation without a visual record following him around.

What’s next for Nicholas Braun?

Braun is due back in court later this year, but the lack of bail indicates that he’ll probably get off with a slap on the wrist if he’s convicted.

In addition to his role on Succession, Braun has appeared in such films as Sky High, Minutemen, and Princess Protection Program.

He recently portrayed both Andy Kaufman and Jim Henson in the film Saturday Night, based on the early days of Saturday Night Live.

Braun also appears in the new comedy Splitsville, which just hit theaters last week.

Details of his arrest are scarce at the moment, but we’re guessing more will come to light when Braun returns to Moultonborough for his court date.

In the meantime, he’ll probably keep mum for legal reasons.

On Sunday, August 31, Chad once again took to social media to detail his wife’s septic shock and more.

“It’s been a week since our miracle, Henry came into the world,” he wrote.

“He is doing well in the NICU and is our bundle of happiness.”

Chad continued: “We had asked for prayer for recovery for Erin due to complications. Her labor was longer and more intense than previous births.”

An infection ‘sent her into septic shock’

“Erin developed a severe UTI and kidney infection,” Chad revealed, “which sent her into septic shock.”

He updated: “She is currently still in the ICU as doctors continue to treat, diagnose, and search for answers.”

Chad concluded the caption:

Social media users have responded with astonishment that Erin would even attempt at another child, given her long history of difficulties.

Erin has a clotting disorder. In 2015, she welcomed her first son, Charles, but had suffered three miscarriages before that.

She went on to welcome Brooklyn, Everly, and Holland.

It seemed that they’d stop there, giving her many health issues.

Many fans did not expect her to risk a seventh child

In the process of treating cysts, doctors removed one of Erin Bates’ ovaries entirely.

They also partially removed another.

And yet they had William in 2022, Finley in 2023, and now Henry in 2025.

Fans expressing dismay at this should remember that the Bates family is part of a fertility cult just like the Duggars. In the family ideology, this is arguably Erin’s purpose. Even if it claims her life.

We earnestly hope that she makes a full recovery and that this health crisis never repeats itself.

Tammy Slaton appreciates your concern.

But she would like everyone to know that she’s doing just fine at the moment.

Over this past weekend, the 1000-Lb. Sisters cast member shared a video of herself and fiancée Andrea Dalton singing along to Kenny Loggins’ Footloose in the car, but it wasn’t the couple’s vocals that got folks talking.

It was Tammy’s appearance.

“Are you OK?” one user commented underneath the August 28 TikTok footage. “What happened to your chin?”

In response, the veteran reality star simply explained, “I had teeth pulled.”

Indeed, we previously reported on this being the case.

Late last month, Slaton confirmed she had undergone a procedure to fix a sizable gap toward the front of her mouth.

“They’re temporary still,” the 39-year old said on a recent podcast, referring to her teeth. “But they had to cement them in because the glue wasn’t holding — well, my body was rejecting it. But they had to pull teeth.”

According to Tammy, the bridge — which is a false tooth that’s anchored to adjacent natural teeth to bridge the gap in an individual’s smile — has made a slight change in her voice.

“I have a lisp now,” she said on the August 19 episode of the Creative Chaos podcast. “It will go away eventually. The only way I think my voice might have changed is cause I’m happier.”

Slaton added during this interview that she has more work to get done, emphasizing that “it’s a process.”

Tammy is accustomed to having patience and going through processes, however, having shed hundreds of pounds over the last two years.

She truly looks like a different person at this point.

On the outside, that is.

On the inside, Tammy still is unafraid to speak her mind.

“Haters make me famous,” said a couple weeks ago when it comes to her critics, following up on the criticism she received in the past over her teeth.

“With all due respect, I wish people like you would stop commenting crap like this,” Slaton said in a January 2024 TikTok video, addressing social media trolls.

“It’s not helping my confidence. I was trying to keep my confidence boosted and seeing comments about my chin or my teeth doesn’t help.”

She continued back then:

“I’m trying to better my life and better myself. We should be lifting up people. It doesn’t matter if I’m missing teeth.”

Aside from her ongoing journey to achieve the ideal smile, Tammy’s latest video marks her first since the tragic passing of her and Amy Slaton’s cousin Katie Slaton — who appeared alongside her cousins on the TLC series on multiple occasions — following a battle with stage 4 cancer.

“It is with a completely crushed heart and spirit that I have to post this,” Tammy and Amy’s sister Amanda Halterman wrote on Instagram August 26.

“My little cousin went to sit at the feet of Jesus yesterday. She was a force to be reckoned with and showed love that was accepting and given freely. She was the life of the party and my best friend.
