Simple things, really. But these are the reasons that I'm starting to love moving here in New Zealand. :-) 1. The greenery. Lots and lots of it. It's always postcard-perfect! Cows have plenty of grass to eat! On the road going to Rotorua View from the top of One Tree Hill 2. Playgrounds. They're everywhere! And the best part is that they're FREE! No entrance fees. Clean. Nice.

Been wondering where I've been? Always busy, that's me! The past couple of months have been the busiest of all. And with a blink of an eye, Tadaa!!! We're here!!! Did you guess it right? ;) Yes, we've just packed all our bags, left on a plane (sing with me:  "packed my bags, I'm ready to go... 'coz I'm leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again..."), and come to

It's almost the end of the year, which means Christmas is fast approaching. Who isn't looking forward to Christmas packages, bonuses, and 13th month pays? Wow! Feeling rich soon? ;) Mall SALEs are everywhere! It's so easy to catch the Sale Fever! But Wait! Before rushing with the crowd and spending all of your money, why not Stop, Think, and Save before you Splurge. Been wanting to invest in

My daughter is really growing up. She's now more of a little lady than my baby. It's evident on her choices of clothes, bags, accessories, and shoes.  She likes to wear pretty dresses (and hates it when I tell her to wear "just shorts" to the mall). She borrows my small handbags so she can have her own bag when we go out. One time, at the skin care station where I have my facials, the

Here's the reason to be merry:  Malacanang has announced the official holidays for 2014!  Time to mark your calendars and plan your vacations :-)

With less than 100 days till Christmas, I'm starting to prepare gifts for relatives and friends. I always make a list of all the people we want to give gifts to. It's our little way of saying "thanks" for their presence in our lives. Of course, at the top of my list are my hubby and our daughter! So, I'm hoping to get some extra funds the next couple of months so I can buy these for them. :

This cold, rainy morning makes me want to eat donuts! What's your favorite JCo donut? :-) Have a sweet weekend! :)

I found two chic cafes at the Molito Lifestyle Center in Alabang.  They're the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy the afternoon, whether alone or with your girl friends. First is the Designer Blooms Cafe. I've always thought this little shop was just a flower shop, up until a friend suggested we meet up here.  I was in for a nice surprise!  It's not just your usual

I've been busy, oh so busy over the past several months! Obvious, isn't it? It's almost the end of the year and I only have 3 entries for 2013! I can't believe it!!! Well, I hope to catch up in this last quarter. So, again, Hello World! I'm still here, in case you've missed me. hehehe ;)  I'm back!!! :-)

As you may know by now, one of my favorite places to visit is Tagaytay. This time, on a day trip there, we decided to see something new.  The Puzzle Mansion! It recently (Nov 2012) bagged the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles! Wow!!! It's truly amazing! You won't regret visiting this wondrous place! :) THE Puzzle Queen herself, Ms. Gina Lacuna, gave us

I'm a fan of Italian food. Bring me to an Italian restaurant, and I'm floating on air! Bring me to Amoroma, the restaurant that serves authentic Italian food in Tagaytay, and I'm in Heaven! :) Being just 30 minutes away from home, I always enjoy day trips to Tagaytay.  No traffic, nice & cool weather, great views, and good food! So, during our recent trip to Tagaytay, I thought of

Being an ISKA (an Alumnus of the University of the Philippines, Diliman), I'm ashamed to admit that I only learned about ROC recently. For those familiar with UP, I'm sure you've all heard about Chocolate Kiss Cafe. That famous restaurant located at the Bahay ng Alumni.  But did you know that there's this other restaurant also at the Bahay ng Alumni? It's called ROC or Restaurant of Choice.

It's the most wonderful time of the year! What with all the lovely Christmas lights and decorations everywhere! And the Christmas medleys being played in malls just make me wanna sing along! :) Here's proof that everywhere we go, we're reminded that Christmas is definitely in the air!  Happy holidays! =) At a relative's home. The tree is up as early as November 3! At Vikings...

This is our first time to eat at Vikings.  Just look at these pictures and you'll know why I'll say it won't be our last! :-) The Oyster was a hit! The refills are always gone in a minute! Fish balls, kikiam, squid balls... name it, they've got it! First time I saw such a big fish! Temaki Sushi placed beautifully on a boat-like serving dish Canape... makes me think

Nowadays, it's very seldom that we're able to watch a movie, partly because there isn't many really nice movies lately, and mostly because we simply don't have the time to go to the movie house. So, it was a nice treat to be able to watch Spiderman as a family. It was truly Amazing! :-) How about you, what was the last movie you saw?

The past week, I was busy preparing for little C's birthday party.  It was just a simple party with a few of her classmates. Nonetheless, we of course wanted it to be fun and memorable for our little darling. Here are pics from her Minnie-mouse themed party. Chloe loves Minnie! She had fun helping mom decorate for the party. :-) Favors and Prizes Loot bags

Hubby and I finally got our chance to watch the Avengers when little C went on vacation with the grannies last week.  It was really my hubby who wanted to watch it so much.  I only went because I wanted to take this opportunity to go on a date with him...hehehe... ;-).  I'm glad I did, though! I really enjoyed this movie! I am leaving the details out for the sake of those who

We're soooo happy and excited!!! Little C's on TV! ;-) She made it to Disney Junior-Asia's Birthday Book for May!  Yey!!!! I've been wanting to do this for the longest time, but each year, I always forget to send an entry. This year, I almost forgot (again!), and remembered only near the end of March.  You see, entries must be sent 2 months prior to the child's birthday, and only the
