Dear friends and readers of Mommy's Wish List,

I would like to ask for your help to feed hungry families here in America this Thanksgiving Season. We've all gotten such great deals on our groceries this year, I'm asking if you could donate just $1 to help other families who are still struggling to feed their kids this Thanksgiving.

Libby’s is sponsoring a Virtual Canned Food Drive to help Feeding America fight hunger in our country. As a mommy blogger, and donor to my local North Texas food bank, I’ve volunteered to help. Feeding America is the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Their mission is to feed America's hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.

My goal is to raise $2000.

Kohl's has just released their Black Friday preview "book" which is on-line here. You can actually buy now, and before Friday you can get free shipping with a $75 purchase. OR, you can make a list on-line using the book list function, save it, then buy it on Friday on-line, or print out your list and take it to the store with you on Friday! Pretty neat! Store will open at 4:00am for you crazy people, and on-line you can get the Black Friday deals starting at 12:00am for you even crazier people.

Cleaning for a Reason will clean the home of any woman undergoing cancer treatment (for any type of cancer) 1 time per month for 4 months FOR FREE while she is in treatment. Thank you to my neighbor Carolyn for letting me know about this valuable service.

All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and Canada, and currently has 547 partners in all 50 states. And, they are a non-profit organization, recruiting new partners daily.

How to pick-off super hot bargains at Gap, Old Navy,etc.

Ok, I just spent some time picking thru all the on-line items at the Gap/Old Navy/Banana Republic/Piperlime/Athleta website here. Did you know all those stores are linked? Pretty cool...there are tabs at the top of the page here so you can shop all and check out all at once. Right now, (until December 15) you can get free shipping with an order over $50, no code needed just choose "free shipping" at check-out if your total is over $50.

How to get your money's worth out of this deal? Do what I just did, go thru each of the tabs, find the "sale" link and look at all the sale stuff. There are actually some pretty great deals. Here's what I found:
