They say you can’t go back home again, but I think motherhood proves that theory wrong every single day. We go back to the rocking chair, back to the “alphabet song,” and back to those quiet, midnight prayers when the rest of the house is finally still.

If you’ve been here since the beginning—over a decade ago—thank you for waiting for me. If you’re new here, welcome to the beautiful, messy, God-led chaos that is my life.

The Season of Silence

For a while, the blog went quiet. Life got full. Between navigating the needs of my adult children and the high-energy demands of my littles, my “content creator” hat got buried under a mountain of laundry and school schedules. I used to feel guilty about that silence. But I’ve realized that sometimes, God asks us to put down the pen so He can write a few more chapters in our hearts first.

From 29 to 9 Months

People often ask me what it’s like having a 29-year-old and a 9-month-old. My answer? It’s a lot of perspective. I’m navigating the “fulfillment whiz” side of my brain during the day and the “midnight snacker” side of my heart at 2 AM.

I’ve learned that the “hiccups” are just as important as the highlights. The grace I needed as a young mom 29 years ago is the exact same grace I need today while I’m hunting for a lost pacifier or a missing sneaker.

What’s Next for MomWithA.Com?

This space isn’t about being a “perfect” mom. It’s about being a present mom. Moving forward, you can expect:

The “Mom Survival” Kit: My favorite Amazon finds that actually save time.

Grace-Filled Faith: Gentle reminders that you don’t have to “do it all” to be loved by Him.

The Real Stuff: Honest stories from a mama of six who has seen it all (and is still learning).

I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’re running on coffee, crumbs, or just a whole lot of Jesus, know that you aren’t alone in the hustle.

I’d love to hear from you! Comment below: What’s one “hiccup” from your week that ended up being a blessing?
