$1000 Month Challenge! Plus Contest!

You heard me, a $1000 month. Thats 1 with 4 zeros and a dollor sign in front of it. Most of you must know by now that I’m extremely interested in PPC marketing, and freelance writing. The reason for this challenge is to make me less lazy. Because, honestly anyone could make $1000 with a computer. Simply all you need to do is write. For me, write 3000 words per day. Let me give you guys some more info.

Goal(s)

Earn $1000 from February 26th til March 26 (Duh!)
Teach myself and my readers
Learn about PPC marketing
Uhh, earn $1000!

(I guess you get it by now, $1000 is the goal!)

Earning the $1k shouldn’t be to hard, right? All I need to do is write 3000 words a day, $900 dollars over 30 days, and earn $100 from PPC marketing. Also, I have been making some websites for Paul, my first client, and also from selling ad space, and AdSence. (I got a gig at the little league baseball fields to umpier games for $15 a week with friends.) So, after everything is all said and done, I need to make $33 a day. Hopefully My goal is to write atleast 2500 words and make around $8-$10 from other ways that I said above.

I’ll be giving daily updates on how much money I have made for the day on my blog, MoneyMakinGuru.Com.
I’ll also be giving tips from my mistakes, failures, and successes on the blog as well.

My paypal is finally growing! Haha, yes! I just wanted to give you guys an update on some of my recent jobs.

Write a sales letter

Regarding the sales letter, I havn’t been paid, but thats because I just started writing it. Anyway, I’m collecting a nice $25 for about a 500 word sales letter.

A nice guy named Paul contacted me through my Contact page, and he asked me some queations. turns out, Paul has very little experience on the web, and he was looking for some guidance, and maybe even someone to make him a few websites. Lucky for him, I’m here! Anyway, I’ve been doing most of the planning, and Paul and I are meaily just starting this journey. Anyway, for the two websites I’m not making chump change, instead, $100 canadian. (about $80 US)

Of course, I have been doing some freelance writing. About 2500 words in the past week. Also I keep getting new jobs!

Any, I’ll give you guys another update on NeedGreen.Net soon.

New Website Idea! Plus:Social Bookmark Me!

Yes, I have yet another idea for a new website! I don’t want to disclose the domain name I’m thinking of at this time, but if I do buy it, I’ll be sure to let you know. The website would be based around PlayStation3 game reviews, previews, news, glitches, and cheats.

The gaming niche is absolutely huge! Probably second to the make money niche, but it does have some “dry spots”. For example, the pc gaming niche is pretty dry, but thats because less and less people play pc games. Also, the PS3 area isn’t completely full of blogs. Yes, my competition in the search engines would be pretty stiff, especially because some of the game store, (GameStop) now have reviews, previews, and news. My only edge would be having cheats, but some sites already specialize in that. (CheatCC.com Alexa below 1500! ) So, the competition is really stiff.

If I were to make a PS3 website, I would make it wordpress based. Only because I’m used to wordpress now. Maybe it would have a featured content feature, and a all new pages specifically for each category, news, reviews, previews. Also, maybe a community forum. And a video sharing center. Maybe I’m a little over ambitious.

Although I really want to start a new project, to stay focused on my 2 sites right now. NeedGreen.Net, and MMG. Yesterday, NeedGreen brought in $.30 from adsense. A very good day! Also, search engine traffic has been up, and I keep writing articles.Hopefully all goes as planned!

Finally, my natural weight loss blog/website is coming together! NeedGreen.net if you didn’t know is my first real web project. If you want to learn about my intentions, and expectations, then look back into my archives.Anyway, let me give you guys a little update.

182 visits
290 page views
77% bounce rate
2 minute avg. time on site
11% search engine traffic
35% direct traffic
53% referring sites

Honestly, I’m somewhat disappointed, but it did take forever to get indexed in Google, Yahoo, and MSN.124 unique visitors in one month is fairly pathetic, but like I said above, it took the search engines a while. In my opinion 77% bounce rate is much to high, I would like it more around 50% or lower. 2 minute average time on site is pretty good, it means some people are reading the content. Also, 11% SE traffic is pretty low, but it should pick up soon, as I’m going to be depending on serps, and the trafic I get from them.

Yes, I’m happy, really happy with a click through, but I’m not happy its only one click through.

Overall, I’m as happy as could be! After only one week of SEO I rank in the top three for a fairly popular keyword in MSN. I also rank #1 and #3 for needgreen on Google and MSN. With another month or SEO I should hopefully be ranking high in Gooolge for some of these keywords! I also want to start ranking for some of the articles I have written, like “natural weight loss programs” and more natural weight loss titles.

Expectations:

25+ unique visitors per day
50+ page views per day
$.25 from Adsense per day
1 affiliate sale in the month
Ranking for 3 of my keywords in the top 10
75% of my traffic from Search Engines

How to Go From $0 to $25 In First Week

Yeah, I know the title of this posts screams “scam”! but it isn’t. Lets get that straight! Most people are capable of producing pennies from there sites, they are also capable of only putting in half the effort, and using there time on useless cash producing tactics. Before I even go into steps I want to say, this can be done easily by anyone who has a blog. First, lets establish what we are going to need to accomplish this;

The ability to write, or buy 25-35 articles
A domain name with hosting, or a free blog
A couple hours of SEO weekly

Step number one is by far the most important part of this article. You can have the coolest custom made theme and logo with no content, and get nowhere. (Although, this can be the exact opposite in some cases, but that’s for another time…) In this case, content is king! You should have already determined what niche you are in, either by your domain name, or your blogger id name. Write, or buy at least 25 articles regarding your niche. Have the articles be around 300-500 words each, and pay about $.01 or less per word. They don’t have to be perfect, but keep grammatical errors out for the most part. Depending on your niche, identify 25 keywords for the 25 articles, all regarding the one niche.

So, lets use an example;

If I have a weight loss blog that I want to make money with then I would get, or write 25 or more articles about 25 keywords all relating to weight loss. So, a couple of my keywords would be;

natural weight loss
natural body detox weight loss
holistic body cleanse weight loss
and on and on

The second most important part of making money with your blog is doing weekly seo. Every article that you have written, or had written contains one of the 25 keywords, your job is to bold them wherever they are in the articles. After this is done you want to modify the title tags to contain the keywords in them. Also, get link backs to the articles with the anchor text as some of the keywords.

You will want to submit your new site to all of the major, and smaller search engines. You can even try to find some cheap services people offer to submit your articles, or site to directories. The more links the better! Always remember that!

Lastly, wait for your site to get crawled, and add more content every day. If you post Adsense ads, and some affiliate ads you should be able to get some conversions. After about one week you should be able to mantain 45-100 visitors a day purely from the search engines. All this traffic will calculate into money for you.

The 5 Steps to Making $25

Hi guys, today I’m going to tell you how to make $25 in one day. No matter what funds you have you can do this. All you need is the ability to dedicate 2 hours to typing online.

First things first, what do you have to be able to do to do this?

Write Semi-Good
Have a Digital Point Forums Account
Have Examples

That’s it, those three things are all you need to make over $25 in one day. Before we get into the steps, let me tell you about what you are going to be doing. You are going to be a freelance writer. A freelance writer writes about whatever there” superior” wants them to write about. From skin care, to weight loss, it all changes. What your main goal is, is to create long term relationships with your content providers. Next you want them to provide you with daily content, and fair prices. That’s it, that is your goal. Now that we know that lets get into these steps!

Step 1. Post a new thread in the Buy Sell Trade freebies section on digital point forums. Make your thread title say “Writing, $.01 per word.” This may seem like a little amount of money, but it is a fairly decent wage. In your post suggest you are qualified to write for whoever views the post. In my case, it was “Honors English Student”. you choose.

Step 2. Wait for someone to PM you, or post on the thread. They are going to ask for samples, but you don’t have any. Tell them you are willing to do a review copy for $.005 per word, only if they promise to buy from you again at $.01 per word(if they like it, if they hate it, let them go). Make sure it’s you best work, so you know he/she will come back.

Step 3. Show your new samples on your thread, and let people now you have completed a few transactions. Hopefully your first guy, who bought the review copy is buying from you everyday.

Step 4. Fnd 3 people who are willing to do this, like the first guy. Then you should have three people at $.01 per word. Depending on how fast you can write, you could make a lot of money.

Step 5. Rinse and repeat, don’t be affraid to bump your thread letting peple know about your succesful stransactions. Also, rasie your prices with new costumers after a while. In addition, branch out to other writtings aside from articles, like sales letters, and resumes.

The people that make the big bucks with affiliate marketing are the guys who charge $500 for a 1000 word sales letter. That is $2 a word!!! Put that into perspective, that is 200 times more per word then what you would be making!

Just for proof, this is my paypal account, as you can see at the top, the balance is $25.41. All of this has come from Freelance writing, over 2 days!

What have I been up to recently? Well, I have started my career as a freelance writer! So far I have made $15 from freelance writing in 2 days, and $10 from designing some logos and banners. Tomorrow I’m going to write a post about how to make money as a freelance writer. But for now, let me update you on my internet career.
As of Today, I have made $25.41 for the year. My goal is to attain $300 a month from here on out. I’m going to use a variety of things to do this, like freelance writing, advertisement sales, and affiliate marketing. I’m hoping that once I make my first $100 or so I can really start to do affiliate marketing. From reading I have realized that it takes more than $25 to make money using affiliate marketing. Also, all I have to do is write 1000 words a day for the month to reach $300 for the month. Hopefully I’ll be writing 500 words a day, making me $150 a month, and get the other $150 from the other things listed above. Hopefully, by the end of the year I wish to be making over $600 a month between all three, but mainly from affiliate marketing, and advertisement sales.

Talking about the blog, I’m looking to buy two banner advertisements for MMG. So far on Digital Point Forums I have had some designs created. All of them are animated, and I think I will buy them today or tomorrow so be on the lookout for them! In addition, I want to start doing some hardcore SEO on the blog. I don’t know if I know enough about SEO to do it all, so some of my money might go to that.

NeedGreen.net is starting to come along. I’m going to be making, or buying a logo for the site. I’m also trying to get some decent content for it. I guess I’ll have to sit down and write some… So far nothing has converted from NeedGreen.Net, but at least the traffic is steady at about 15-20 visitors a day.

In the coming days I look forward to making another $25, and spending some of that wisely. Also, you guys should be on the look out for some very informational posts!

As I let you guys know a couple days ago, I said I was going to create a sort of landing page for an acai berry weight loss offer. Well, after two days, of link building, and seo, nothing has materialized. (Still looking to trade links with other acai/health/fitness sites!) I am hoping that I can establish daily visitors at around 50 in 2 weeks. Most/All of my traffic has come from digital point forums. Nothing yet has come from Google, or Yahoo. Most likely because I just submitted the site to search engines. I used all the free automatic search engine submitters out there, and the site probabally got into 40 search engines. The next step is to submit to directories. Aka, pain in the ass. All in all with the link building and seo every thing is going good. The hardest and most difficult part is getting content. I guess I’m going to have to sit down and write some persuasive and promotional articles.
