I am SICK of Adsense Template Promos (Read Why)

Hi Reader,

Yesterday when I opened up my email, I saw lots of
marketers bombarding my email account promoting
Joel Comm's adsense template sale...

Some of them offering bonuses to get the package
from their link...

BUT I don't like it...

See actually I also have Joel's invitation to promote
that package and I also have my own affiliate link..

BUT I don't see this type of package will benefit
end users (those who want to make mo.ney with adsense)!

It will benefit only those who sells the template but
never use it..

I can get those type of templates almost free..in some
other places but again I don't see it will help a lot
in boosting adsense income...

Those marketers promote it for their own sake and they
think by promoting and following GURU's launches will
benefit them but unfortunately it won't be much benefit
for the end users..

Now if you really want to boost your adsense
income I will share you this little secret:

1. Create a search site that connect with google search,
the google search result page should embed your adsense
ad. I know it sounds difficult to do but here is the solution

Most people in a new year make resolutions to make more money and attempt to make money online. However it is also true that a vast majority of people fail to actually make money online. Why is this? Most people in their haste and enthusiasm to make money online go all out and attempt to “try their luck” and go around purchasing advertising to promote and try to sell whatever affiliate program or home based business opportunity that they have with no results to show for it. So not only are they not making money, they are losing money online.

How then can you make money online with any business? While many people tend to try to complicate our lives, this article shows you two steps that you can take today to increase the success of your online business and make you
money online.

Step One: Anyone trying to make money online is trying to sell something. Spend some time writing down who you think your target market is. Many people spend countless hours thinking about the wrong things, like how many people can I get to visit my website and then how many projected sales
you can get. People love to tell you that the internet conversion ratio is about 1% so that out of 100 people visiting your website, you will get one signup or sale. I would say quit believing in numbers. That is putting the cart before the horse. Your conversion ratio will increase once you get targeted visitors to your website. By writing down exactly who you want to target to visit your website, you will know what articles, and what tone of writing your website should take and therefore once the visitor visits your website, he should find what they are looking for and you make money when they either signup or purchase something from your website.

Therefore, when doing online advertisement once you gave analyzed what is your target audience, you can then go to places where your target audience would visit and your conversion ratios will increase. For instance if my website was selling baby shoes, when placing an online
advertisement, I would target the specific audience that I was looking for and place an advertisement in an ezine that targets moms. Spend time writing down who you think your customers will be and then place your advertisement accordingly with the right language that motivates your customers in the right way and you will make money.

Step Two: Next develop a method to track how your ads are doing. Once you can track where your hits are coming from, you can then write down what ads are working and spend more of your monthly advertising dollar there and thereafter make
more money from increased online sales. This is also what people deem by calculating the return on investment for any advertising campaign.

How is this done? Here is the simplest way you can do it for free no matter what you are selling online. Go to one of those free webhosts online and open a free website account. Get a webhost with an easy webpage builder that has the
ability to add a simple html code to your main page.

Step Three: After signing up for your web host, now go to http://www.statcounter.com and then open a new account. Login and explore your account and look for the part which gives you the code to add to your website. Now leave that page open and go to the next step.

Step Four: Now go to the web host mentioned above and use the web site creation utility and then create a simple page. Now leaving the page creation utility open, copy the code into the page you are creating.

Step Five: Now we want to copy a simple redirect script into the page that you created. This means that any page that looks for the page you created will be redirected to the target website that you are advertising so your customer would not know that your page is redirecting.

Change the url below to the target page and this can be either a sales page or a business opportunity page.

Copy the following script into your page

Let us summarize what you have done with your simple webpage. You have created a simple web page with a Java Redirect Script and a Statcounter to track where your hits to your target website are and now you can place your targeted online advertisements and track them to see which
ads are getting your sales and therefore make better use of your advertising dollar to make more money online in whatever business you are in.

Spend some time every month doing some small changes to track your online sales and tweak and test, test and test until you get the sales copy that pulls the best online and then stick to it and advertise in the place that gives you the best return on your investment. Making money on the
internet is thus a highly disciplined process where you test and refine your online advertising campaigns to yield you the best return on investment.

In conclusion, to make money online, you need to focus on your target audience, write ads that meet the needs of your target audience, track the outcome of your ads and constantly make small changes to your advertising copy until you get the best result. Take massive action today in measured steps and you will see that you will start making
money from the internet.

I know who you are. You’re one of those ‘Make Money Online’ people. You read this blog, and others like it, every day, hoping to pick up some useful little tidbit of information so you can start your own ‘make money online’ blog. Even though you’ve never made more than a few pennies through Adsense, you’ll join the sweaty, teeming masses that comprise the ‘make money online’ niche. I know what you’ll write about too: The same damn thing as everybody else. Entrecard. Adsense. SEO. You’ll “get your inspiration” from the big boys, and while you won’t commit outright plagiarism, it’ll be close enough. I have a phrase I like to use for people like you: “Emulate, duplicate, regurgitate.”

Hi, I’m Geoff, and I’m the author of the one blog out there that exists to counter-balance the thousands of ‘make money online’ blogs: Can’t Get Rich. That’s right, I’ve accepted the fact and you should too. You can’t get rich online. You know why? All of the good ideas are taken. In other words, you can’t bring anything new to the table. You’re old news, taking up space. Not interesting. Get what I’m saying?

Of course, I’m sure that you’ll take that as a challenge. “I’ll show that mean old Geoff.” Well, first of all, I’m not old, I’m only 21. Maybe a little jaded, but that’s beside the point. Speaking of ads - Don’t put any up! You heard me. Get off of adsense and just think for a moment: When people visit a website, what do they want to see? No, not ads, content. You should be focusing on writing quality content and attracting new readers, not making a quick and shameless buck. My readers occasionally ask me when I’m going to start monetizing my site. I always tell them the same thing: When I hit 1,000 readers per day. Until then, I’m going to focus on attracting and keeping readers.
The Feedburner widget - For heaven’s sake, don’t put it up until you have a good number of RSS readers! Congratulations, you finally broke into the double digits and now have 11 RSS subscribers. Big deal. That’s laughable. Don’t even bother putting the widget up until you have at least 50.
Adsense blocks - You know what? Don’t use them. Ever. They’re ugly, they’re tacky, and they’ll drive off your readers. If you’re going to advertise (and you’d better have a good number of readers), find some other ad network. I don’t really care who. Go ask Cow or Chow.
Be original - Starting a blog in the most crowded niche probably wasn’t a good idea to begin with, but since you’re here, you might as well do something. Don’t just rehash things you’ve read on this site or Digital Point forums. Tell your readers (assuming you have any) about what you’re doing and what you’re learning. If I wanted to read about something the Cow said, I’d visit his site.
Hold a contest - A good way to attract first-time readers is by holding a contest. Get your hands on a $100 Apple store gift certificate and start promoting. A word of advice though: Make it clear that you won’t accept entries from tiny contest blogs. You know the ones I’m talking about: Those blogspot blogs that have 2 RSS readers and nothing but entries to other blog contests. Seriously, they’re worthless. The whole point of a blog contest is to attract readers, and a 15 year-old’s blogspot blog isn’t going to do that for you.

So you’ve got a blog in one of the most saturated niches on the Internet. Congratulations, you stubborn fool. I bet you’re just aching to prove me wrong. Well, let me know about your site. I offer a little service I like to call ReviewU (see what I did there?). Basically, it’s just like ReviewMe, except it’s free and I don’t have to review your blog if I don’t want to. Typically, I like to ignore blogs that are perfectly fine and really dig into the ones that are awful. Most people believe that making money online only involves putting up a website selling a product or service, and then promoting it.

Wrong answer! On many counts, but we'll concentrate on two of them which are closely related:

1) People don't buy products, they buy solutions to their problems...

As a general rule, people don't like the thought that their hard earned money is ending up in somebody else’s pocket. They will figure out if you're only in business to make money out of them and they will NOT buy your products.

But...

If you're genuinely trying to HELP people and happen to make money while you're doing it, they won't mind and will buy from you (and remain lifelong customers).

In order to do that you must have 'empathy' with others. You must understand them, what they fear, what they like and what they dislike.

You MUST make the effort to understand them and when you do you'll find a lot of ways you can help them and make money too.

You might not be interested in developing your own products and services. In that case you will want to align yourself with a company, as an affiliate, that shares this mindset, the attitude of 'helping people' and 'making money'.

2) Promoting a product or website is not easy, but it can be simple...

If it was easy everybody would be making a fortune. The truth is most of the people you put your website or affiliate link in front of will not be interested.

In fact they'll ignore it, some people will go out of their way to ignore it.

Poof! That's you promotion efforts gone up in smoke.

Consider this scenario: You have found a solution to a problem you've had and you know that there are other people facing the same issue. If you told them about the 'cure' for their problem, what do you think they are most likely to do?

You got it! They will take a look at the solution you provided and won't mind spending money, sometimes huge amounts of money, on the 'solution to their problem.' The fact that it was your product or an affiliate product, and you made money from their purchase won't bother them in the slightest.

Now how simple is that?

It's not easy, sure, but the concept is real simple. Identify the problems people face and offer them solutions.

How can you do this?

One effective way is to build a list. Offer people solutions to their problems in exchange for their contact details. The solutions you offer will be your own products and affiliate products.

Just make sure you don't 'sell' your products to your list. Let me put it this way... people won't buy a drill because they want a drill, they want a hole. Don't sell them drills, offer them 'holes any where they want and in any size they want.'
