This is buying HOPE in fact. First time, first time I am doing such a ‘crazy’ thing.

But it is meaningful, at least something I am working on, trying every means and cracking my brain juice to win the contest. And all these, Just For Isaac, my baby going to come to this world soon.

This is my first time using Huggies Diapers. I had never used any Huggies before for my two kids. Since only a pack of Huggies is required for the contest, I opened up Huggies Newborn to see how the diapers looked like. It was easy to open the packet, with perforated lines provided. Upon opening the diapers, I was so filled with surprised and excitement to see such CUTE diapers. Even the colour combination used for the diapers look so lovely. It is simply wonderful. I can’t help but quickly took a snapshot of it.

Taking a piece of Huggies Newborn from the packet, I used it to wrap my favourite white bear. The children were very anxious to see the diapers too. They had never seen any before. Next, I showed them how to wrap the diapers on the bear. It was so cute! Everyone just kept laughing after that. It was so much fun.

In these photographs, you can see most of the brands of diapers on display. There are Huggies, but there aren’t any Huggies Small or Huggies Newborn at all.

Again, yesterday, I went to Kiddy Palace Toa Payoh. I think that is the biggest Kiddy Palace if I am not wrong. I went to the baby and maternity department where diapers were being sold. Over there, it was even worse. There were no Huggies at all! Really disappointed again. I told Clara,”Luckily the contest is until June.”

But I still did not give up yet. While shopping at Toa Payoh, some of the shops have diapers displayed outside their shops for sale. Again, there are other brands, except Huggies. It seems like Huggies are so hard to get. Clara asked me,”Their website got say where got sell?”

That was a good question. Today I visit their website, huggies.com.sg, but I cannot see any. Huggies, Huggies, where are you?

You know what, I have so much passion, so much desire, so much of eagerness and determination to win this contest. I have never, NEVER take part in such contest before. I would never have want to buy something just because of taking part in a contest. But this time is different. I am really MONEY SICK. Everything that I have now for my baby Isaac is second hand items. He is not going to have a proper baby cot even. What can I do for my baby for bringing him to this world?

The future is very hazy and obscure. There are too much expenses and yet the earnings are so little… Not forgetting I have to pay for hospitalization too. I would be broke by then, and no money even for any funeral expenses!

This is not the right way to do business, especially dealing with old folks, with their hard-earned money. Popular Discount Voucher
I wonder what was inside the red packet at that time when Richard gave it to me. He had gone shopping with the children at Popular. I opened it up and saw a $8 Discount Voucher in it. It is valid only for purchase of minimum $48!

I tried to use it on 28 February, which is the last day for the use of the voucher. We went shopping at Popular on this day, but in the end never get to use it. I wanted to buy ink cartridge for my printer. I talked to the sales staff,”Can we change the ink cartridge if it is not compatible with my printer model?” The sales staff said,”Cannot.” I added,”Never opened at all also cannot change?” She replied,”No.”

So ridiculous. I went to ask Customer Service. The same answer. I wonder why. His answer was,”Ink Cartridge is very sensitive.” Ink Cartridge is very sensitive??? First time I heard of.

I had forgotten to write down my Printer model, and so we do not know which is the correct ink cartridge to buy. Richard went to Courts to check on the Printer model and ink cartridge also. He came back and asked the sales staff the same questions that he asked at Courts (some questions about Epson Ink Cartridge) and both sides gave different answers. Anyway in the end, we did not use the voucher and we were told that the voucher cannot be used on ink cartridge also.

First, it was FREE, and FREE GIFT, and SURE WIN lucky dip to ‘lure’ you to go, to fix an appointment with them. So tired of receiving so many ‘confirmation’ calls and emails from them. Do they have confidence with themselves, do they trust customers?

This is no Professional, and this is No Excellent Service TO ME at all… I really don’t know how they get this award, what kind of criteria it was based.

Talking about Excellent Service, I did not get EXCELLENT service from them. I even have to ASK for receipt from them. What is BEST from them is PROMOTION, ASKING you to sign up for their package which cost S$3000. Then they would say, I had special invitation, so minus off $200 and then the lucky dip was a rebate of $200, so end up the total package I need to take up would be S$2600. This is daylight robbery! I do not even earn $800 per month! Earning $500 a month is so hard already.

I walked out of the shop, don’t know what I paid for $88, and I thought by asking for the receipt, it would help. But look at the receipt. No signature also. The person is so scared to disclose their name. If their service is SO GOOD, and they have NO FEAR of customers coming back looking for them, why have fear of revealing their name and introducing their name and putting a name tag even? No description of any of the facial treatment, but so much verbal ‘nonsense’ spoken to impress customers.

This is real obstruction at Woodgrove, just outside 7-11, not the first time, but a common scene. But no steps were taken.

Yet, my house, no problem at all, and yet want to come and step on my tail:

On 12.6.08, the piece of notice from Sembawang Town Council still exist, pasting on the wall above this bicycle. Yesterday, 13.6.08, the notice was gone. All our bicycles including this one, still left untouched.

At Woodlands Civic Centre, bicycles and motorcycles were parked ‘everywhere’, obstructing pedestrian pathways and an ugly scene. Yet this is the kind of notice pasted at the pillar, the notice different from that of my home.
