A couple were taking a peaceful walk on the beach at Milford, CT
when they came across this carcass of some sort of animal, which they sent us.

It’s my honor and pleasure to announce that a Montauk Monster discovery was made this weekend by Linda Ingmanson on Silver Sands Beach in Milford, CT. Linda and her husband were walking on the beach when they found a mutated creature that bared resemblance to the Montauk Monster of recent years.

I received an Email from Linda Ingmanson on Sunday morning (10/3) explaining the details.

I had a brief phone conversation with Linda yesterday afternoon to verify her story and learn more about the details of her discovery. She noted that the creature was bloated, stocky, and looked nothing like anything she’s seen before. Linda said that the creature had an odd “sweet smell” which puzzled her as the Montauk Monster is notorious for smelling like “rotten garbage”. Linda and her husband did not attempt to remove the decaying carcass from the beach as they feared that it may be diseased.

I did not have a chance to make a trip to Silver Sands Beach to see the beast with my own eyes. I encourage all interested parties in Milford, CT to search for the rotting and bloated carcass and inform authorities.

We may still have an opportunity to bring the remains to a laboratory for testing before the mutated beast is washed back to sea. This may be our only chance to determine what the creature really is; drawing a possible link to the other carcasses that have been discovered with respect to origins from Plum Island.

The search for the Montauk Monster is officially on!

It’s come to my attention that a hideous creature has been discovered in St. Josephs Missouri by a woman walking her dog. I had let our subscribers know about this discovery by e-mail before disclosing this publically. I strongly encourage you to subscribe to my free newsletter to learn about these happenings before the media does!

I’ve dedicated my time to learning more about the creatures that have been washing up on Long Island and more recently Canada, (“The Ugly One”) the latest “Missouri Monster” is one scary looking creature!

The head is elongated much like an alligator or crocodile, yet the body is very muscular (holy biceps!) The creature was found on land (dead) in the classic Montauk Monster “crime scene” pose.

As the person who took this picture would like to remain anonymous, I continue to wonder what this creature is. People frequently ask: “how do you find out about these things?”, “why didn’t the people call the police?”, and “are you making this stuff up?”

As we head into our third season, I’d like to address the following points:

1) This blog can be found easily on search engines. I’ve received hundreds of e-mails from people around the world that have found “weird creatures”. I use my discretion when selecting which images I choose to feature and appreciate all legitimate tips and correspondence submitted by my readers.

2) In all seriousness, what are the police going to do? For whatever reason, the finders of the dead animals generally think that carcass is worth something. (i.e. sell the remains on eBay?) While the finders may have dollar sign eyes, “new media sources” are the one’s cashing in. Having a slow news day? Cash in on cryptozoology!

3) No I am not making this stuff up. (The Boy Who Cried Monster?) As an independent journalist who has been featured on numerous legitimate and well-known media publications, I take pride in covering this story. For students that use this blog for research projects, I have a responsibility to present the facts in a way that’s truthful and unbiased. Just because it’s entertaining, doesn’t mean that I have a hidden agenda.

In closing, I would like to thank my audience for remaining supportive since 2008 and providing feedback and insight to one of the greatest mysteries of our time.

This creature was found by a pair of “dog walkers” in a Northern Ontario creek last week. As I’ve been following the story closely and gathering the facts, a few questions still remained unanswered:

1) Why have the “First Nations” (Canadian community) taken an active role in learning more about the creature as US citizens have let the Montauk Monster remain a “mystery”?


2) The creature was found by “two nurses” who work for the Canadian Federal Government. They posted the picture on their community website where it later went viral. Why put your job on the line?


3) If this creature was never meant to be discovered, (especially by government officials!) shouldn’t this have been swept under the rug?


4) Where is the animal carcass? Once again, “the monster” has disappeared.

Members of the Canadian community claim: “No one knows what it is, but our ancestors used to call it the Ugly One,” the Kitchenuhmaykoosib website says. “Rarely seen, but when seen, it’s a bad omen. Something bad will happen, according to our ancestors.”

More importantly: Monster Season Has Officially Started

Well I couldn’t have said it better myself!  I’d like to thank Jake for his candid review of Montauk-Monster.com With the weather getting warmer on Long Island, there is a strong chance that another mysterious creature will wash up again. As many people will find themselves walking their dogs on the beach or relaxing with friends and family on the East End of Long Island, please be aware of your surroundings.

Likewise with the Montauk Monster discoveries of both 2008 and 2009, I strongly encourage anyone who may find a mysterious or odd looking creature washed up on the beach to contact Montauk-Monster.com immediately. The Montauk Monster has “mysteriously” disappeared after authorities have been contacted on every occasion the media has brought attention to it. It’s my mission to ensure a situation like that will not happen again.

In the words of the MTA, (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) “If you see something, say something.” I’ve made a commitment to shedding light on this conspiracy and providing an explanation to one of the greatest mysteries of our time. Stay tuned.
