Museum of Brussels in Grande Place

Hey Everyone! :)

Today's post is about visiting Brussels Museum of History of Brussels, located on the Grande Place (Central place in town).

It's very interesting and inspiring how the city changed over the years, but it's charm satays the same.

This is famous in Brussels' Manneken pis, statue of a little boy, made of bronze in 17th century which is considered to be a symbol of Brussels. On different occasions they put different clothing on him, which attracts a lot of attention of tourists :) This statue is located next to Grande place and it is currently a fountain, very appropriate for this gesture :)

Today I want to share with you 5 of my favorite lipsticks, which I love to wear for different occasions.

First one is red. Unforgettable classic, which have been in fashion for a very long time and it seems like it still goes strong...:)

1) Mac Roobywoo :

It's a mat and long wearing lipstick, very cute for night out!

2) Guerlain Rose Malicieux 568 :

I use this one for everyday, when I want to look effortless and natural. I love the package, it's like a piece of art :)

3) Dior Addict 763 Reflet :

Yes, the name of this lipstick explains everything! :) It's for those who are addicted to everything beautiful and shiny :)

4) Tom Ford 17 Violet Fatale

To my taste, this is the most elegant and classy lipstick that I have. I see it as a treat, a piece of art which I can carry in my bag :)

5) Mac Amplified Show Orchid

This pink is amazingly vibrant and cute! I love to wear this lipstick on it's own or to mix it with others. But when I wear this kind of bright pink - my mood explodes with positivity and happiness :)

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all are doing wonderful and having great time preparing for Christmas and New Year! ;)

In this post pictures were made by night on one of Brussels' central streets which got lovely and unusual decoration :) This gigantic balls change colors, play music and there is a play of silhouettes inside some of them. I'm a big fan of everything shiny and bright, so this is a perfect atmosphere for me!

In today's post I wear very casual and comfortable, bright and colorful outfit which combines 3 colors : red, pink and orange. (I think on pictures it almost all looks red, but in reality there are three distinctive tones :)

Belgium is such an interesting country...it can surprise you with a quick change of weather and turn from winter into autumn very quickly, just as it did now: snow disappeared and green fresh grass showed up, the park looks very fresh and beautiful, as if there is autumn or spring time. :)

I like this change, because I like surprises and you never know what you are getting :)

Today's outfit of the day is very colorful, bright and fun!

Combining 3 brights in one look is quite daring, i know, but my personal rule in daily fashion is 'if you love it, go for it!'... And as you know, I love colors! :-)

I pulled out of my closet my orange shoes that I bought in H&M last year and thought, 'with what in the world I can wear them?!', but then I realized that they can go well with almost anything, if I just let my imagination flow. I am an inspired painter as well as fashion lover and I can relate to my artistic experience in the area of fashion sense as well. Choosing an outfit of the day is almost the same as playing and experimenting with colors on the white canvas of painting, just in the case of dressing up - the canvas is my own body :D You never know the final result till you try to put colors together...

I hope your weekend is starting great ;)

Mine started very well, I received amazing bracelet thanks to www.maisondecoshop.be and I absolutely love it!

They have great variety of colors and, honestly, I wanted to get this kind of bracelet for a while but didn't know where to find it...It's so cute! :)

Todays outfit is quite simple and casual, all in black with a pop of color.

I can't live without brights even in the winter time!

As for me, vibrant colors kind of bring the whole look to life, even if it's just a little touch of it!

Bright lipstick is also an important accessory which can make a big difference to the entire outfit.

I love how Brussels looks with the snow! It's so amazing! Now it really feels like Christmas season! :)

Olive Oil For Beauty

Hey Everyone! How are you?

Today I want to share with you some beauty tips about how I use olive oil. Strangely enough, it became one of the main products of my beauty routine recently.

Olive oil — an ideal cosmetic product both for body, gentle skin of the face, as well as hair and nails!

Makeup remover.

I use olive oil as a makeup remover, in the morning and in the evening.

Olive oil very gently removes makeup, leaving my skin soft and smooth. I love to take good care of my skin and recently decided to use as much natural products as possible, and olive oil is one of my favorites.

Excellent body lotion.

I stopped using body creams and lotions. I love using olive oil instead, it is a perfect body lotion. While in the shower I just massage olive oil into my body and after this my skin feels baby smooth and heavenly soft.

Olive oil is very unique, it contains a lot of nourishing components. For cosmetic purposes, it’s good to use extra virgin olive oil, which contains beneficial nutrients. (I bought mine in the supermarket :D)

Advantages of olive oil for beauty.

Olive oil effectively prevents aging of a skin as well as wrinkles, it strengthens and protects the skin.

Vitamins A and D participate in renewing of epidermis, reduce quantity of dead cells of the skin, and carotin protects the skin from influence of the sun.

Care for hair and nails.

Various minerals which olive oil contains, can take good care of your hair and nails, for improving their structure and hydrating them.

Hydrating hair mask.

This mask will take only 15 minutes.

Mix 1 yolk of an egg with about 2 table spoons of olive oil and 5 drops of lemon juice. Hold this mask on your hair for about 15 minutes, then wash. Hair will become shinier and softer.

Olive oil for nails.

Wish to strengthen your nails? – here comes olive oil!

Excellent way to strengthen your nails is to make warm baths of olive oil (it takes only 5-10 mines).

Refreshing mask for skin.

Simple and refreshing mask with olive oil is very beneficial for skin. (1 table spoon of white clay, 1 table spoon of olive oil). Put this mixture on the face and then, wash it in 15 minutes. Such mask can be used before the important event, if you need to look fresh and rested.

Olive oil also prevents inflammatory processes.

Don’t forget to put olive oil into your salads, it influences the condition of your skin for better.

Hey Everyone! Happy friday ;)

Today I want to share with you some pictures from Belgian chocolate week.

In fact, in Belgium chocolate industry can be even called 'chocolate jewelry art'.

First of all, there is incredibly big variety of shops around Brussels. All of them are wonderfully decorated and groomed with 'bonbons' for all tastes, they blend different spices and aromas, adding to it elegance and sophisticated design.

So Brussels Chocolate week is a time of chocolate celebration, where shops open their doors to chocolate lovers for guided tours, workshops and tasting sessions.

Me and two fellow lovers of chocolate experienced a very interesting concept:

Each one of us had a little book with about 15 or 20 tickets inside and we could go around chocolate shops and have chocolate degustation in exchange for one ticket from our book :) It was so fun!

We collected a little bag of chocolates and were happy like children.

MY EVENING IN PICTURES

Hello Everyone! :)

Yesterday evening there was a special event in Karen Millen shop with cocktails, sweets and hairstyling session.

I had a lovely occasion to meet girlfriends for fun time and trying on some cute dresses.

I don't know which dress I liked the most, but I think it was overall fun experience, we had good giggle and simply had fun :)

I felt a little bit like Michael Jackson wearing this dress :) i don't know why? :$

And with this one...I'm ready for the red carpet :))))

After fun time with dresses we went for a good chat to a very elegant wine tasting bar called 'Etiquette' where you can taste any of hundreds of bottles of wine and discover new ones that you never tried before...

It was for the first time that I discovered this delicious snack which is a combination of 3 completely opposite tasting sensations, it was sweet, salty and sour at the same time. It is meringue with gorgonzola and red berries, loved it!

The evening was lovely and fun.

Missing sunshine, I decided to dress up like one :)

Happy yellow color under my autumn coat adds a touch of light and brightness to my outfit.

I paired it all with green bag which is a great combination with yellow.

I boght this black elegant coat in Zara and I get a lot of compliments and questions about where I bought it...But I think it was kind of almost limited edition one and I never seen the same in the shop. But yes, I love wearing it in those cold days, because it's important to be warm and elegant at the same time :D

Hello Everyone! :) Happy Tuesday ;)

Here is a quick post of my casual everyday outfit. I love a chic touch to it which tweed jacket can easily add to any outfit.

As you can notice I'm back to my eyelashes extensions again, was missing them so much! :) hehe

With this incredible beauty invention I almost don't need to wear makeup any more. I love the fresh and natural look with just a pink stain on the lips and a touch of blush...

Autumn is metamorphosing itself into winter, but it still looks just gorgeous! Love bright colors all around!

Today I'm playing with layering, like this I can kill two birds with one stone : to look fashionable and to be warm :)

Love this silver bag, it's not an easy piece of accessory to wear for every day, but I found my ways...

...and I know that too much is not always good, but sometimes I feel like breaking the rules, so for jewelry today 'more is more' :)

Jumping is my favorite thing to do in photos :) You never know what gonna come out of it and it always looks funny :)

The change of weather is already very significant and the cold is already all over the place...

It's been very windy, rainy and cloudy lately in Brussels, this is why I had less posts on the blog :)

I guess I will need to brainstorm for new different subjects/ideas that I can include into the blog which don't involve being outside in the cold :)

In Brussels recently we had a lot of rains and winds and it was not so easy to make pictures outside. So today I want to share with you the photoshoot that I made couple of days ago in the park which is unbelievably beautiful! It has a little lake filled with different cute birds and the colors of the nature are just fantastic!

I was wearing casual look combining my summer dress with some warmer clothes.

This place is one of my favorites in Brussels, you even forget that you live in a big city when you are surrounded by serenity of nature.

I like this simple hairstyle, which I find very elegant and super easy to make. :)

I'm wearing my favorite black leather jacket and colorful dress.

I like to combine colors, like this the outfit is balanced, having both seriousness and elegance of black and joyful playfulness of orange.
