HOOK BAITS

The following hook baits are carefully formulated with no expense spared and are then hand rolled to a superb standard, thus ensuring the quality of the bait item at 'the business end' is of the very highest level. Each product has been greatly enhanced by the inclusion of one or more powerful appetite stimulants in order to create a hook bait that is incredibly attractive when fished alone or as part of a baited area.

Whilst many different hook bait additives have been used to stimulate a feeding response and improve their palatability, the inclusion levels of certain products used are extremely high, and have a major impact on the appeal of finished hook bait.

Whilst there are many different halibut pellet hook baits on the market, these hand-rolled, dark grey, pellet-shaped boilies are made using the same ingredients as our Betaine HNV Pellets and Betaine Ultramix in order to present a perfect hooking mechanism that capitalises on their powerful attraction properties.

Containing soluble fish proteins and meals, fish oils and ground Betaine HNV Pellets, the inclusion level of betaine and n-butyric acid used in quite unprecedented. During testing, we have found that extreme levels in hook baits can create a devastating response when fished either alone or in conjunction with Betaine HNV Pellets or Betaine Ultramix.

Being made with a pop up mix base, Betaine HNV Hookbaits are critically balanced to ensure they react naturally, instilling confidence in fish as they move around the baited area, and will also remain firm for around 36 hours as they are structurally insoluble. Betaine HNV Hookbaits are supplied as 16mm pellets, glugged in Trout/Halibut Pellets and should be frozen between trips to preserve their freshness.

With more and more specimen and match anglers looking for an edge, we have produced these superb Mini Betaine HNV Hookbaits for use alongside our Mini Ultramix, Betaine Ultramix and Betaine HNV Pellets. Created using Pop Up Mix, ground Betaine HNV Pellets, Betaine, oils and other proven attractors, these 6mm x 10mm dumbbells are a superb addition to any angler's armoury.
These hookbaits are glugged in Trout/Halibut Pellet Oil and are soft enough to be hooked or hair-rigged as multiples.
Each hookbait will hold up small-sized hooks (depending on pattern choice and number used) and have proved very popular with anglers targeting all different species.

Mussels have been regarded as one of the most effective fish attracting foods for more years than most can remember, with swan and zebra mussels being an integral part of the Carp's natural diet. Whether in fresh, liquidised, cooked, salted or of course powdered extract form, mussels have also been used to great success in Carp baits, accounting for many fish with their distinctive taste and aroma.

Boosted Mussel Hookbaits have been formulated with an extremely high inclusion of Green Lipped Mussel Extract, making them a powerful fish catcher in their own right. As we use such high volumes of G.L.M. we can offer our customers the immense benefit it brings by adding a 25% inclusion to these hookbaits while still pricing them competitively. Sold in pots of 50 baits these 12 x 16mm wafting pellets are rolled in a carp confidence-building, deep green colour that fish will not associate with danger. With such an unusual colour for a hookbait, these naturally attractive baits can give anglers a real edge in presentation and remain firm enough to be in water for up to 18 hours.

Belachan has for many years been regarded as one of the best-kept secrets of modern day carp fishing. With valuable natural properties such as solubility, digestible proteins, amino acids, fermentation acids and salts and an unforgettably strong shellfish aroma, this fermented shrimp product is proven as an extremely effective fish attractor. These 12 x 16mm critically balanced pellet-shaped hookbaits are packed with Belachan, the highly attractive Malaysian fermented shrimp product. Designed to be fished with either our Boosted Belachan Pellets or Belachan Stick Mix common attractors in each product ensure that the loose feed ideally compliments the hookbait and vice versa. Dark in colour and made from a base of pop-up mix, these hookbaits can also be trimmed or shaped to meet personal requirements

Within bloodworm products there is vast range of items that can be used as hookbaits. To create a successful, fish catching hookbait we felt it was essential to produce a product that would perfectly compliment other products in the Boosted Bloodworm range. After careful consideration, we have designed what be believe to be the perfect solution... a 12mm x 16mm pellet shaped, low density bottom bait.

Made using our own pop-up mix, Boosted Bloodworm Hookbaits are rich in bloodworm and bloodworm extracts that continually leak out as powerful soluble attractors when in water. These deep red hookbaits are glugged in Liquid Bloodworm Extract and sufficiently firm to remain on a hair for at least 18 hours.
