Ces deux caves fonctionnent en jumelage. Je ne me rapelle plus tres bien, mais il me semble qu'il est possible d'acheter un double pass. Il est possible comme moi de se procurer des coupons de reduction dans les hotels du coin.

First, 3 of them, Lakes Saiko, Shoji and Motosu were only one huge lake. They got separated by lava. Something I just learned and could experience a bit after, is the fact that some of them have a big hight difference. The most obvious case is between the Saiko and the Kawaguchiko because of the short distance.

Nous sommes pres du lac Sai (Saiko). On peut visiter plusieurs caves qui ont ete crees lors de coulees de lave. Celle-ce est habite par des chauve-souris. On n'en voit aucune. I usually don't prepare anything when I go out for driving. I just choose a road and drive slow enough to stop anytime. I usually let the cars behind me pass once they show too much impatience, sticking to my back too close for example.

I went for a long week end to the Yamanaka lake, one of the five Fuji lakes. I took the Doushi road all along to the lake. In the middle, about, the visitor center: Michinoeki (map). A kappa looks over the place.Umeboshi  Unidentified Comestible Vegetable. A huge なす?Michinoeki (=road station?) Before check in, we drove around the lake and get into the surrounding hills.

After a long drive, the best way to relax is having a hot bath. So I stopped by the Yukaraku spa. I don't think this a real hot spring. To get the real onsen naming, I think the shop should provide the same water taken from the ground with no additive and no re-warm.
Anyway this is a cheap but nice place. This give you a great view of the Sagami bay. With a clear sky, maybe winter would be the best, you can see many famous spots.

Everytime I go to the Miyagase Dam, I take the same road 64. This time the way back will be on the Yabisu Pass. Surprisingly, this is a thiny road. Most of the time, this one car wide with many curves. You follow some small and cold river. The only way to stop by is to enter a picnic place. About 500¥~1000¥ for a car with extra ~600¥ per person to get to enter.

Everytime we go around Hadano to play and do some shopping around Jusco, Cainz... we stop by the Nihao Teishoku (Hello in Chinese - Restaurant) So this is chinese food and a good one. Cheap, they also have free refill of rice with their sets. This change from the KFC, Mc Donalds or other family restaurant when you do not want to make food.

You can find a baseball and an athletic stadium, tennis courts and a poolside. This is not swimming pool but many little pools for kids to play. (adults 400¥, half price for Hadano residents). We did not know about that place so we did not have our swim suits. You could see a slide, a lot of safety staff, parents with sun-tents...

It is still hot somehow. I went further times to the municipal swimming pool at Ogino Sports Park. (Ogino undo koen). This is cheap 400¥ for an adult and a discount for a kid. Mines are even youngers so it is free for them, I think until elementary school.
There is a ticket machine which provide you a magnetic card to enter. I first picked up this Yamakita town area on google maps because we've never been ther. Then with few clicks on the Kanagawa Tourist page, I found out about some tiny tourist spots.

I found this road, wide and clean. It looked like an entrance for a temple. Yes, I looked like a temple but I have never seen such kind of architecture in Shinto or Boudhist. This is the headquarters of the Sisinkai. The 思親会 is a new religion of the Lotus sutra system. Religion founded in 1938, feb 11th.
