Swimming Exercises at Mosaic at Mueller Pool

Our luxury apartments in Austin are beautiful! But with the onset of summer, you probably would like to get a bit of exercise. The gym is great, but it lacks that sweet, fresh air! According to Livestrong, you can burn off calories simply by swimming in our swimming pool at Mosaic at Mueller.

Exercise to good health by swimming at Mosaic at Mueller

It is best to warm up, prior to swimming hard for the aerobic part of the exercise. One way to achieve this is to hold onto a board with your left arm and lie on your left side, with your head on your arm. The right arm should be lying on your right side. Kick gently, using your upper legs, not your knees or ankles. Do this for two laps, then flip over and repeat on the right side.

If you follow the calorie burning workouts from Livestrong, you’re guaranteed to not have to hit the gym until the pool closes. It’s one of the most effective ways to burn calories.

Mosaic at Mueller Apartments, located in Austin, is a luxury community that enjoys catering to our residents. When you live in one of the finest communities in Austin, residents want to know the appreciation from their management, so here are a few events we’re doing in honor of our residents for the rest of May.

Bike to Work Week in Austin

Beginning next week, May 14th – 18th, is Bike to Work Week. Brought to the residents courtesy of ACA-Austin, we’re helping celebrate biking to work by seeing our residents off to work and welcoming bikers on their way to work. As one of the designated stops along the way, we’re showing off our spirit from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. all next week.

In addition to Bike to Work week, we’re also celebrating pets with a Yappy Hour on May 17th in the SoCo Courtyard, from 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. There will be hot dogs and drinks.

However, that is no longer the case, and food trucks and vendors have raised the bar in street food. Austin, of course, is particularly proud of their food trailer accolades and honors.

Bike to Work Week at Mosaic at Mueller Apartments

Did you know that May is National Bike Month? In celebration of biking your way around Austin, Mosaic at Mueller is joining in on the event as one of the stops along the route of the city bike path.

Austin's Bike to Work Week

Beginning May 14th - 18th, ACA – Austin Bike to Work Week will begin, and residents throughout the city will be participating by riding their bikes as opposed to driving or public transportation. As one of the important stops along the route, the gang at your luxury apartment has jumped into the game.

The apartment community in Austin will be one of the stops from 7 a.m. – 9 a.m. This is a great opportunity to pull your bike back out and participate in a city-wide event. In addition, biking is especially good for the body. According to Livestrong.com, when using proper posture, you engage your core — utilizing all mid and lower muscle groups.

Mosaic at Mueller Resident Events for May

There is a lot going on at Mosaic at Mueller in Austin. Your luxury apartment community is big into events, and celebrating with our residents is one of the best ways to show our appreciation. Here are some events that will be in the works for the month of May.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Mosaic at Mueller

This coming Saturday, May 5th, we’ll be holding the Mueller Community Garage Sale. Residents throughout our community will be taking part in this event as we help sell our unwanted goods and find other deals from our neighbors. This will be a community wide event, taking place along Aldrich and Mueller Blvd.

In addition to our community garage sale — which is from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. — we will also be celebrating Cinco de Mayo at the clubhouse for the Tasty Taco Bar. Come out and share the celebrating with some tacos and drinks in the clubhouse. The event will follow promptly after the community garage sale from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
