Mt first post in this 2012, so, I wanna say Happy New Year to all of you. Talking about 2011, what your best thing which happened last year ? For me, all things was really great in 2011, but if I have to choose one, traveled to Bali - NTB - NTT would be my favorite thing ever happened last year. How about resolution ? I just want to be a better humanbeing. That's all.

Enough with resolution and recap things. Now, I want to show my latest pictures, I took these pictures at my home, the first picture is two keyhains of mine and mini-house of mine. The second one is my niece's barbie, mini eiffel tower of mine, and big cow doll of my sister's.

Shine in The Night

Last week, I joined the two of my friends, Monte and Mia accompanied our friends from Singapore, Charllote and also Nicholas from US walking around Monas, Central Jakarta. That was Charllote's last day to spent in Jakarta, after sightseeing around Monas, we sent her to Gambir Station to get bus to the airport.

Then, we separated our selves with Nicholas who going back to his 'kos' near to Semanggi area. By the way, Nicholas is a scholarship student of Bahasa Indonesia in Atmajaya University, Jakarta. So, Nicholas back to his kos, me, Monte, and Mia continued our day to Istiqlal Mosque, which located right in front of Cathedral Catholic Church. Istiqlal known as the biggest Mosque in South East Asia.

Finally for over 15 years lives in Jakarta, I made it, I finally entered Istiqlal Mosque, and I feel so happy for that. The most famous mosque in Indonesia, probably in South East Asia, why wouldn't I be happy ? The mosque is really, really beautiful. I take some pictures there, will definitely post onto this blog, but not now. Today, am gonna post Cathedral Catholic Church, which I took it from Istiqlal Mosque, second floor.

I catch Phuket

Last month, I spent my five days in Phuket with another nine good friends. From September 25th until 30th, I really thank God givin me opportunity to come to this great island. I might not visit Phi phi island or James Bond island, but I tell you what ? I'm seriously had a great experienced there in Phuket. Met new friends, tasted local food made by local people, drinks a lot, tried marijuana (just a little bit), explored numerous great places there and so many others thing.

It was my second time visited Thailand, and I can say that I love even more with this country. Definitely, will going back again to visit Thailand. While waiting me get enough money to go there again, now, here are what I got for you guys from Phuket.

Things in my room, suppose to be my annual post every month, but then again, I lost my mood and it's been eight months since my last post about this project, things in my room. Now, I doing this post again, but I don't even dare to promise this post gonna be obligatory posting every month. I just tryin to continue them which I've started last year.

For this posting now, I took a picture of my-handmade statue or doll or whatever you want to call it. I made this blue thing about couple weeks ago, made from paper + water + glue, emm..what do we call this ingredient in English ? is it pulp ? or paper porridge ? Well, you tell me. The things is, when I made this blue was the time when I have nothing to do. My school still off, I just came back from my holiday trip so there were no part-time job for me yet, and I think like why don't I make something stupid thing to spend those boring time I had. Here we go, the blue thing I made. Frickin ugly? yes it is.

Analog Camera Projects - Traveling

Well, those are pictures from my traveling-with-analog-camera project. I decided to use analog camera while doing traveling, and I start it for the first time with my friend's camera. I borrowed from Rara, thanks to her for the camera, I used it when I backpacked from NTT to Bali overland. I captured things very carefully, you know this camera using 36 films not a 2GB memory like digital one, it means I have to think twice before snap.

What am gonna say taking pictures with analog camera ? It was a great and fun experieced. I can say that I wanna do it again, addicted already. Planning this september, am going to Phuket, Thailand, and think I'm gonna buy my own analog camera and snap pictures there with it. Will tell you later about it.

On STAGE JavaRockin'Land 2011

I never been to JavaRockinLand Concert before, but, lucky angels seems stood still their feet on my head. This year I got a chance to go see this annual biggest rock music festival in Indonesia. The event itself has been going on since three years ago, 2009, so this year was it's third time festival. You know what ? I get the ticket for FREE.

Now, let me tell you guys how can I got the tickets for free. Couple days before the day, one of the promoter's account twitter tweet about to give free tickets to his followers. Thank God, he tweeted the quiz about one o'clock in the morning, it means less followers still awake that time, means my chance to get the tickets getting bigger, rite ? I got two tickets from the quiz. It was really-really unbelievable. I got tickets are worth about 2,5 million idr. It was a BIG SHOT for me, self-proclaimed as one of those kuishunter (quizhunter) on twitterland.

Well, enough about the story and these are photos I got for you all.

What a good mood I have lately to posting something to this blog. It less than a week, but now I back here again with new photo and new story of course.

So, the story of this pic is about a young man who either desperate and psycho, who loves to kill so badly. After kills a lot, he goes even more desperate and in the end, he wanting to kill himself. So tragic, isn't it ? (p.s: the knife is real).

The model was me, art director was me, photographed by my brother, digital imaged by me and my brother.

KORUP + PSSI = KORUPSSI

The line on t-shirt 'KORUPSSI' is about creative mad expression to Indonesia's Football Federation, which called PSSI. There were rumours (that most of Indonesian folks believe as a fact) about this football federation are conquered by a corrupt leader. So, my friends (Eaz and Dheny) giving their creative expression making this such a beautiful t-shirt.

The concept of this photo is about a person who known for corruption, but still got big confidence to stand still because he had 'bigger' people who will stand behind him and got his back.

Feel like need to take one or two photos of the t-shirt, Eaz asked me to snap it for promotional need, so I did it. Due it was with no preparation, no time to find a person with model look or something, so, instead find a model, I ask Eaz become the model, and also a lot thank to Resty and Puspita who are so happily approved my request asking them to let their hands participated as part-models, lol.

So, last friday. Me, and 4 of my friends are havin photosession. Such a great time, and also greats results (i think). Plenty of photos are taken by me, but these one are the best for me. It consists of three photos basically. The foot part, the head part and full body. Once seeing the pictures, I got an idea to make a wannabe jeans adv.

Last week, January 17, 2011 for sure. I had a photosession with my friends, Eaz, Dheny and Rezty. It took a former hotel building in Cileungsi, named 'Komplek Graha Garuda Tiara' as our location. It used 'Garuda'-word because the building it self look like Garuda bird from the top. You can click this link for the picture and this if you want to know details story behind Garuda mithology.

Okay, enough about the location. The point is I do really had a great time with my bestfriends, more good news was that I got few great photos of Dheny and Rezty. I didn't took much pictures of Eaz, due to he was also acted as a photographer that day, using Resty's camera. He has not upload yet his shots, well, you all can keep your eyes to his blog for update.

Now, let me show you what did I got from that photosession. Here they are 'Love in Lost' :

Last week, my brother James bought grandma a wheelchair. Don't ask me what's that wheelchair use for!!. The day when me, my brother Juara and James taking the wheelchair to our mom's house (my mom and grandma are live together since last year), I asked Juara to took a picture of me while posing on my grandma's wheelchair.

RED THE STADIUM

The photos taken by my brother, Elyas Tampubolon. It's me and my friend whom yesterday watched live for final match AFF Suzuki Cup Indonesia versus Malaysia at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium, Jakarta. It was amazing match with awesome euphoria from Indonesians !!! Yeah that's true that we were not the champion for AFF Suzuki Cup 2010, but we won the match yesterday, it was 2 for Indonesia and 1 for Malaysia.

- First Picture is me at my room before going to stadium. I used red t-shirt, red shoe, black jeans, Indonesia National Flag and Ulos (batak traditional clotch) as a costume.
- Me with my two best college friends, Imanuel and Bayu.
- (from left to right) : Hanif, Imam, Rizma, Me and Dheny.

and just like what Cipu's said, it will be better if I put pictures of a whole stadium, guess what ? I have these two pictures. First one was euphoria outside the stadium, and the second one is 3 hours before the match began.

There are keychains in my room

Keychains are my new collection. It started about couple months a go, when I had a holiday in Vietnam and about to buy souvenir for I bring to Jakarta. At that time, I saw keychain, and I starts to love it, quite unique and eye-catching, but the most important that I love from keychain is it's size, small, so make it the most practise yet simple souvenir to carrry, isn't it ? Since then, everytime I traveling I always buy keychain for my collection (yet there are also some keychains are given by friends).

Little bit explanation, the orange devil and the elephant wood are from Thailand, the orange devil I bought when I traveled to Bangkok last September, the elephant wood I got from my friend. Green People I bought from Vietnam last August. Eiffel Tower I got from my sister, she bought while she was traveling to Paris from her office. University of Toronto was given by my friend from Canada who is college student there. Last but not the least, The one look like crab's claw I bought from Belitung Islands couple weeks a go.

Anyway, I used my brother's camera, it was Canon EOS Kiss X4.

Beauty of Belitung (again)

Wohoo..it's quite a long time haven't posted anything yet to my lovely blog and I really miss you all guys.

I want give something I brought from Belitung couple days a go. Belitung ? Yes, I went there again* for about a week and just got back to Jakarta couple days a go. What can I say about my trip to Belitung ? All I can say is 'WOW'. Yup, Belitung still can amazed me. From It's beauty beaches, the people, foods, very fresh air, and so many other things that will make thousand words if I listed here.

No, no, I am not forgetting you all, in fact I bring my photos for you guys to see. Do treat your eyes by seeing this beautiful pictures (oh not intend to be narcist), do write me if you have any questions about Belitung, how to get there, where to stay there, etc and I will be happy to help you guys with my answer.

p.s :
- First picture is a Dam Pice. The dam was built in 1936 - 1939 with architect named 'Sir Vance' which his name used to call this dam 'vence' become 'pice'.
- Second picture was a viewed from the top of Lighthouse in Lengkuas Island.
- Third picture is called Kao Lin Lake. It's not a real lake actually it's an ex tin mine.
- Fourth picture is called Pig Island, near enough from Lengkuas Island.
- Fifth picture is Seruu beach. It's located in Membalong area. The best thing from this beach is not so popular among the tourists, so we can still enjoy the very nature beauty of this beach. The wave quite calm, it just a perfect beach in my opinion.

things in my room.
This is a miniature of Bataknese traditional house, which called Rumah Bolon. Bataknese* is one of hundred ethnics in Indonesia, located on North Sumatera. I'm not really sure when did I bought this thing, but I'm pretty sure I bought it when I still on my Junior High School ages**.
About this photoshot, I made my brother's bed as a background (see the white things around the miniature, it's explain anything) and also used my brother's camera*** , which I hated so much. You know, the more I learn taking pictures with DSLR the more I want to have it.

Bangkok, I'm in Love

Bangkok I'm in Love. A perfect title for this post. Here is the story behind this post's title, about two weeks a go me and couple of my friends had a great oppurtunity visited Bangkok, a beautiful city located in Thailand. I can say my five days four nights with my friends in Bangkok was so much glorious, joyful and fun, and yes of course I can say for sure, I'm in love with this city, so fuckin in love. Seriously, a beautiful city, has it's own unique. If you ask 'so, do u want to go there if you have that luck again ?' , with very confident I'll say 'oh yea of course, if people being asked with a same question who will say no anyway ?' ..

So sorry but I have no things to bring back as 'oleh-oleh' for you guys, these photos the one I bring for all of you (there will be more pictures from Bangkok next post). Keep update and be curious !!!

Twins But Not

I just checked my flashdisk, cheked my photos collection and I found this one that I really love. Seriously, I lovin this photo so much, the photo were taken about last January, 2010 and as I remembered, this photo taken about couple days after I bought my very first own digital camera, Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS42. Inside photo are my second sister (up) and my nephew (down) from my first sister. At that time, my sister was hospitalized, so me, my brother, my nephew and his mother (my first sister) are comin to give a visit.

Things In My Room

Twenty days, that's how long I haven't post in this blog. Not because I have nothing to post about, or I'm too lazy to do it, it just because my college student status is really taking almost my days, lecturers starts giving assignements every single week, can't u believe it ? despite that, me with my friend and my brother had quite a busy time couple days a go. We (HutaHita Fotografia) had a photoshot, so my friend who is a catwalk model ask us to take her pictures to renewing her portfolio. So, we made it. The photoshot was really a fun time yet crazy time (we had almost 6 hours of photoshot), but then again, we happy for the results. Want to see them ? just click here.

Anyway, today, I have my 'mini house' (I got it from my friend's wedding, couple years a go). I love the color, it's so colorfull and cheerfull. What do you think ?
