Daisy woke up to another day of boring 4th grade. Daisy packed her backpack, ate her favorite cereal (which was Reeses Puff Peanut Butter) and brushed her teeth with her lame Dora the Explorer toothbrush (her grandpa had given it to her for her birthday). Daisy's grandpa was the kind of person who always gave little kids on Halloween for trick or treat a pack of carrots. Daisy's classmates were all very mean. Daisy looked at her watch. "Oh, no! Its 8:00!" She ran to the window and sure enough, the school bus was waiting for her. Daisy sprinted towards the school bus and hopped on. "Next time you're late, I'll have to tell your teacher." The bust driver hissed. Daisy looked at the seats. "Oh, no!" she thought. "I have to sit next to Atrayoo, the school's worst bully. Daisy sat down depressingly.

Lily's Blog

A review of Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie by Jordan Sonnenbeck

"Raw and shallow, the most awful book." - The Book Review

The most despicable book ever written. The author is clearly jumping through the book. No details whatsoever. Obviously Jordan Sonnenbeck is very careless about other people's feelings. The main character Steven refers to a girl in his class as "the hottest girl in school." He hates his little brother and is forced to be nice to him when he is ill. I mean, what do you get from that? It is an extremely shallow book about a boy that is careless about anything but drums and girls.

Gabe's Blog

Hi, I'm Gabe. I will be telling you about good and bad movies. There will four movies today. First is Star Trek. Star Trek was a good movie, but the characters didn't look as good as the old ones, and Spock can't have feelings. Also, Star Trek ships did not have 40 lasers. They're supposed to have four beams and some missiles. Now for the next movie which is James Bond. James Bond was a fairly good movie. It had a lot of fighting, but James Bond turned too soft. I mean, he had mercy on people like the girl he liked. James Bond is a good movie because the action is so intense. Now for the third movie, The Incredible Hulk. The Hulk was one of my favorite movies because it has a lot of action and drama. It also has two Hulks. I think the Marine Hulk is cool because he is stronger than the Hulk when the Hulk's not very mad. Hulk is also good because the professors can't use any cellphone, computer, or credit cards. Now for the last movie, SpaceBalls. SpaceBalls is a mixed movie. It has some of the Planet of the Apes, and C-3P0 as a girl. If I rated that movie, it would be 5 stars. The characters are funny too, like Yogurt. Well, you'll have to check in next time for another movie blog.

Sam's Blog

A Day From the Past

On this blog, I will talk about the day at my one school, and the time I was in pre-K. I went to Montessori School. Montessori was a very nice little school surrounded by woods, and next to a Burger King. One day, my best friend Makaela (she was so nice) and I used the bathroom. We said, "I miss you." During recess we played tag. Afterwards, I got tired and hid in a small tent on top of a structure. Then she climbed up and found me. She said "its not fair that we don't get to wash our hands with each other." I agreed. We went inside after recess. I had used the bathroom. I had thought about what she had said. One kid walked in and I had tried to fool him so in my shreikiest voice I said, "I'm a girl."
"No you're not," he said.
"Yes, I am."
"Then how come you have shoes with jets on them?"
"No, those are Power Puff Girls. I'm kidding, I'm Samuel."
So Makaela and I washed our hands in the girls' bathroom. We did it for a week, and then we went to the bathroom and washed our hands together. The teacher and the principal came from upstairs and I quickly ran to the sinks outside (the boys' bathroom has sinks outside). They caught me. I ran back. They said, "What are you doing Sam?"
"Nothing."
"Were you in the girls' bathroom?"
"No."
"Come upstairs you two."
So we did. She talked about why we can't do that. "What if we had a fire alarm? We would not know where you were."
"We're sorry."
"So don't do it again, ok."
"OK."

Sadie's Blog

Lady Bug 101

Last night I went to the symphony's practice. My favorite song was the Harry Potter theme song. We left early, but it was really cool! It was in the building that I performed the Nutcracker in, so I knew my way around, just like my house. I am so excited for the Nutcracker, we start practices tomorrow. I am a party girl, Chinese, and streetperformer. If you can come it would be really awesome. The shows are between the 10th and 12th of December and there is a Saturday matinee at 2:00p.m. I hope to see you there!

Ann Linn's Blog

Ballet is a very fun sport, especially if you have toe shoes. Ballet is exciting and awesome! The first thing you do is get ballet shoes. Then, get a leotard and tights. Then, go to a good teacher somewhere close to you. I hope you get a good teacher that is nice. For big ballet companies, you have to audition to be in their performances. So pick a good place to go. Hurry up! I hope you have a good time with ballet classes.

Miles' Blog

For the next couple months, I, Miles Barkley will be blogging about the sports nation. For right now, I am focusing on football and baseball. Right now, Arizona is out of the race in baseball, but they could make a comeback. My favorite team is the Minnesota Twins. They are 5.5 games back and 58-62 is their record. They have been falling and fast, but they are still in the running. As for the football nation, Arizona looks pretty good. Minnesota just signed Bret Farve, which I'm not happy about. Even though hopefully he will help them.

Portisia Guacamola's Blog

Hi, I'm Portisia. It is a science fiction book about a man named Norman who is a scientist. He is sent to a place in the middle of the ocean to see something that crashed on the bottom of the sea. The Navy thinks that it is an alien spaceship that has been here for at least 300 years. Norman and his team go down into the bottom of the ocean and find this alien sphere.

This book is pretty good, out of five stars, I would give it four ****

Alexis's Cooking Blog

Tonight I'm going to try a new recipe. I've been all over the U.S., Mexico, Europe, and the Bahamas. Last year was when I traveled the most. In February, I went on the Disney Cruise. It was so much fun! I got to walk around by myself. The food was yummy, and we had the same waiter every meal. We ate at a fancy restaurant named "Triton's Kingdom" for breakfast on the last morning. We left from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The ship sat in the dock for about half the day. We had lunch on the deck. That night, we played shuffle board. Our room was really nice. There was a curtain thing in between the big bed and the cot I was sleeping in. To sum up today's entry, it was one of the best trips I've ever taken.

Welcome to our Class Blog

We'd like to welcome you to the future home of Brian Stone's 4th - 6th grade blog.
