First Confirmed West Nile Virus Activity in Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) announces the first confirmed West Nile virus (WNV) activity in the state this year. Mosquitoes collected from Milwaukee County have tested positive for WNV and a wild bird from Bayfield County tested positive for the virus.

Fun reggae show kicked off Wednesday Night Live

Wednesday Night Live began its 29th season at Grundahl Park July 8 with a concert by the reggae rock group TUGG. A wide variety of genres are featured again this summer, ranging from bluegrass to pop, jazz, rock and beyond. These free music concerts run through August 12 and are held in Grundahl Park from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays.
