इस फ़िल्म में उनके साथ कटरीना कैफ भी दिखाई दे रही है जो की अक्षय कुमार की बीवी का किरदार निभा रही है। इस ट्रेलर में दिखाया गया है कि मुंबई में आज तक जितने आतंकवादी हमले हुवे है जैसे कि 1993 सीरियल बम ब्लास्ट उसके बाद 2020 बस ब्लास्ट फिर 2006 ट्रैन सीरियल ब्लास्ट और 2008 ताज हमला 26 / 11, इनसे भी बड़ा हमला होने वाला है और उसे रोकने की जिम्मेदारी है मुंबई एंटी टेर्ररिस्ट स्कॉड (अतः) के एक अफसर सूर्यवंशी की और फिर सूर्यवंशी यानी अक्षय कुमार की एंट्री होती है। इसमें बताया गया है कि 1993 में जो रडीएक्स आया था उसमेंसे सिर्फ़ 400 किलो इस्तेमाल किया था बाकि का 600 किलो आरडीएक्स कही पर छुपाया हुवा है और उसे स्लीपर सेल कभी भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते है और उसे ढूंढ़ना है।

ट्रेलर में अक्षय कुमार अपने पुराने खिलाडी अंदाज़ में काफी सरे स्टंट करते हुवे नज़र आ रहे है। इतने सालों के बाद भी अक्षय कुमार की फिटनेस काफी ज़बरदस्त है उन्होंने अपने स्टंट काफी ज़बरदस्त तरीकेसे निभएँ है। जिसमे उनका खिलाड़ियोंका खिलाडी फ़िल्म का हेलीकाप्टर पर लटकनेका सीन भी देखणेको मिलते है। उनके साथ कटरीना कैफ भी अपने रोल में बोहोत जबरदस्त लग रही है, वह सूर्यंवंशी की बीवी का रोल निभा रही है और उनको एक बच्ची भी दिखाई गई है।

फ़िल्म की स्टार कास्ट काफी बड़ी लग रही है, फ़िल्म में गुलशन ग्रोवर भी दिखाई दे रहे है, उसी के साथ जावेद जाफरी भी नज़र आ रहे है। इसमें जैकी श्रॉफ नहीं नज़र आ रहे है।

'लव आज कल' मूवी का रिव्यु, मूवी रिव्यु इन हिन्दी द्वारा, एक महत्त्वपूर्ण समय है।
